About: When my parents met they had three rottweilers all together, and that’s what I grew up with. In addition to living with many pets of my own I fostered for the SPCA (mostly puppies and litters of kittens), where I also volunteered in person. I have 4 years experience working at PetSmart where I taught myself proper animal care, and my current job is at a state park where I care for the visitor center’s animals (two snakes and a turtle). I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and plenty of exotic pet knowledge. Animal care is my passion! I am enrolled at Virginia Tech and work a part-time job. I have availability around those hours where I’ll also be caring for my own cats! I’m happy to provide what ever care I can for your pet in your own home, while remaining respectful of your space. A bulleted list is often very helpful for me. I even have experience administering all kinds of medication if needed.

I’ll always communicate promptly with you if anything arises to ensure your pet’s happiness and well-being.

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

I’m fully available on Mondays and Tuesdays, with flexible availability throughout the rest of the week. I currently work part-time, but I have consistent availability for drop-ins, visits, and short-term care. I’m happy to be flexible and work with your schedule to make sure your pet is well cared for. I treat every pet like they’re my own. During drop-ins, I follow your routines, give plenty of attention and play, and keep your home safe and tidy. On walks, I stay close, keep dogs on leash, and watch out for anything that could be unsafe. My goal is always happy, comfortable pets, and peace of mind for you.

About: I've taken care of dogs ever since I can remember. I've watched friends, family & neighbors dogs as well as rescued dogs that I've had sent to rescues for the breed. I love bringing them to dog parks if possible and consented by owner. I work as an entrepreneur wich helps me to have extra time to do with as I please. I can almost set my own time Feed them, let them out to pee, play with them and take them on hikes or to the dog parks. I also can bathe if needed.

About: I am a new sitter on Rover, but don’t let that put you off. :) My family has never known a time where we didn’t have pets! When I was five years old, my parents entrusted to me a sweet black kitty for whom I was solely responsible for. Not only did this experience affirm my love for animals, but it also jumpstarted me into a world of responsibility! Since then, we have rescued dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes, happily welcoming “bully” breeds and giving them all the love and care they deserve! I’ve cared for elderly dogs and cats with and without disabilities, as well as those who need certain medications or injections. Further, big breeds do not intimidate me- I love them! Perhaps most importantly, I will love and care for your pet as if it were my own! ❤️ I am currently a graduate student at Virginia Tech, and as such, my weekdays are fairly busy until the evenings. If you need overnight care on the weekdays, let me know and we can work something out! I typically have a couple meetings in the mornings that I can conduct on zoom, but I do have in person class from 2-5 that I will need to leave your home for. Fridays and weekends, however, are wide open! I have two sweet, playful cats currently and live in an apartment, so it is likely that care will be provided in your house! I often find this is better anyway, as your pet is already comfortable in their home and less likely to feel stress with change.
