About: My previous experience in pet care includes employment at Holiday Barn Pet Resorts as a pet care associate, volunteering at Richmond Animal League, and pet sitting for a wide variety of animals. Pet sitting for pets around my neighborhood was my first job! Growing up with pets of my own my whole life has also allowed me to become accustomed to caring for animals of all different sizes, ages, and temperaments. As a college student on summer break, I am opening my schedule up through mid-August and plan to fill my days/weeks with pet care services! Help me keep busy :) I am currently offering walks, drop ins, and/or overnight services, and I have experience with caring for pets in others’ homes. As of right now I am unable to provide boarding services.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. I currently have a chocolate lab who I took through two rounds of AKC good citizen training. I love working with animals & bringing out the best in them. I currently work remotely so I am available throughout the week if your house has a strong wi-fi connection that will allow me to work from your place while petsitting. Otherwise I am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day. I have a dog that lives in my house & sleeps in my bed. We have a fenced in yard but she gets 3 walks & some fetch training every day. Additionally, we often go to Pandapas to hike the trails.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. Last one a pug for 14 years. Took care of her needs being paralyzed for several years. Had small poodle for 18 years I am retired. Travel at times. Live alone. Really miss having a sweet doggy. Lots of love here to give to a pet. Always first with me. Have a nice place. Closed in deck. Screened in porch. About: I have over 500 hours of dog watching and raising experience (outside of my own pets) and spent over 800 hours volunteering cat care for kittens and disabled kitties I am a grad student with a totally flexible schedule and can work from home easily if needed! I will be able to incorporate your pet into my routine seamlessly. I also have the ability to fully care for your pet at their own home. I am able to be there often if needed or can stop by for occasional visits based off your own needs.

About: I have cared for pets of all ages over the years and adopted a pup of my own about two years ago. He’s up to date on all vaccinations and loves other dogs. I have experience with giving medications to animals, caring for both puppies and older pups, and my apartment is hardwood floors so accidents aren’t a problem! I am a graduate assistant and in grad school. This means that I word pretty weird hours and I do a lot of work remotely. I’m home anywhere between 8 hours to 24 hours a day and can rearrange my schedule depending on the needs of the animal. There is a dog park nearby and it’s a safe area. For my pup, and pups I’ve boarded/cared for before, I traditionally feed them in the AM and give them plenty of water. We go to the dog park to start the day and get the energy out. I make sure to leave dog-safe toys on the floor so they know they have stuff to play with and I dog proof the apartment before I leave each time so they don’t get into things they shouldn’t. We go out later in the day to the dog park again to socialize or get the zoomies going. We go back and have a little more food or a snack and then hang out before going out on a walk to end the day. I'm working full-time in ministry so I have lots of time throughout the day to care for your loved one and will be gone no more than a few hours per evening for bible studies and groups. I take my dog, Tonka, out 5-6 times per day minimum and we love to go on walks and be outdoors. I have a large field directly behind my apartment and live in a very pet-friendly area tucked off the main road so your pup will enjoy lots of safe and supervised outside time! I allow animals on the furniture and keep all choking hazards up high. My dog has a knack for finding even the smallest things to mess with so I have good practice with keeping a safe home.

About: I’ve always been a huge lover of animals ever since I was little and have always had a passion for providing them the best care possible. I have nearly three years of Veterinary experience working as an assistant and am currently attending college to further my education in veterinary medicine. Over the years I’ve assisted with my mom’s petsitting business, volunteered and fostered with my local shelter and have taken various animal care based classes throughout my college career. I have experience with pets of nearly every temperament, age and special needs and have provided care for animals in various different circumstances through sickness and in health. I’ve lived in the Blacksburg area for almost a year now after accepting admission into Virginia Tech. Currently I’m working a part time job over the summer where I have been working early mornings starting at 5am and ending around 11am. I’m able to provide early morning care before my shift and in the afternoon when I am off. Along with care in the evening time as well. Unfortunately I am unable to do petsitting out of my own home but I will strive to give your pets the best care out of your home. About: I've grown up taking care of pets; my family has relied on me to walk, bathe, train, allot medications, and take our animals to the vet. My cat is my best friend, and I know how a deep, heart-felt relationship with an animal is healthy for not only the person but the animal, too. I'm part-time, but pet care is the priority! I have another part-time job, but I'll never work on days that I've devoted to an animal. In my home, Ketchup runs the show. I feed her (obviously), groom her regularly, take her for her annual check-ups, and spend an immense amount of my time playing, petting, and attending to her. About: taken care of dogs big and small since I was 17 Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk and feed because it doesn’t feel like a job to me. I am Currently unemployed and I am also currently looking for a side hustle and I think this would be a great fit for me I will take good care of the owners pet from their house. My parents will only let me take care of the dog at the clients house so they will not be coming to mine.

About: I love animals with a passion and I am available for your dog. I have been around dogs since I was young. My dog at home loves when we play tug of war and fetch. I love the outdoors so walks won't be a dread. I also feel like the dog should be able to have some fun also. No matter the breed or age all dogs have an inner puppy that loves to loved and played with. I am not scared of any breed because all dogs are inner sweethearts. About: I have worked at a humane society shelter as a volunteer for years in Michigan. I have fostered animals as well as helped dogs and cats give birth. I have experience with pet sitting and taking care of pets. I believe pets are our children. I have open flexibility and can give many references on how trust worthy i am as i owned a cleaning business here in nrv for 10 plus years licensed and insured. While at a clients home I will make sure the home stays cleaned up from the pet and goes on its normal scheduled walks and or care. While the pet is at my home it will have its own personal area that is kept well and it won't interact with our cats. Walks and playtime will be included.
