About: I have years of experience providing pet care, from energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs. I’m passionate about training, exercise, and creating fun, safe environments for pets. My care style includes plenty of attention, playtime, and understanding each pet's needs. I’m also comfortable with special needs pets or those requiring medication. I’m an animal lover who enjoys giving pets the time and care they deserve. Pet care fits into my schedule perfectly, I do this full time! For pet-sitting in your home, I ensure it’s a safe space, following any guidelines or routines pets are used to. Your pet’s safety is my top priority.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years and have a lifelong love for animals. As a dog owner myself with two dogs at home, I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your pets the same way you do. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, potty breaks, exercise, and providing plenty of attention and affection. I also know how reassuring it is to receive updates, so I’ll send photos and messages throughout your pet’s stay or visit to give you peace of mind. My goal is to create a fun, safe, and stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I treat every animal as if they were my own, and I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I currently do work full time but I do create my own schedule and am pretty flexible so we can work around the hours needed for you and your pet! I do currently have two male dogs who are 8 and 9 years old. They both are very friendly and very playful. They play with puppies and older dogs very well and they’re very diverse with sizes of dogs who they are around. If your dog is aggressive to other male dogs, this won’t be a good fit for you. However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

About: I have previously volunteered at a rescue for 10 years. I have fostered many animals for the rescue and kept some of those as well. I can handle almost anything. I've also worked with and owned most types of animals ranging from a few weeks old to 20+ years, so I can provide care to very young or very old animals. I will be available almost all waking hours of the day. I can stop in on your schedule to provide care and walks, or just stay over to give the pets round the clock care. I will make sure that your pet stays happy and healthy while in my care!

About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
