About: We've taken care of our own and family dogs for 20+ years, including dog sitting, outings, walking, and training/agility. We treat dogs as our family and are truly passionate about their well being. We currently work from home remotely and have flexible time to attend to the dog throughout the day, including frequent visits, walking, playing, and training. We have a fenced in yard and two smaller/medium dogs to keep your baby comfortable and entertained, including many toys, dog pool, and agility equipment.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years and have a lifelong love for animals. As a dog owner myself with two dogs at home, I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your pets the same way you do. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, potty breaks, exercise, and providing plenty of attention and affection. I currently do work full time but I do create my own schedule and am pretty flexible so we can work around the hours needed for you and your pet! I do currently have two male dogs who are 8 and 9 years old. They both are very friendly and very playful. They play with puppies and older dogs very well and they’re very diverse with sizes of dogs who they are around. If your dog is aggressive to other male dogs, this won’t be a good fit for you. However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

About: I am an experienced pet caregiver based near the Smith Mountain Lake area. I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of dogs, including large breeds, and am comfortable administering oral medications, providing bathing and basic grooming care, and handling dogs with different temperaments and needs. My experience comes from both personal and professional care. I have cared for my own dogs, as well as my parents’ and sister’s dogs, giving me regular, real-world experience with daily routines, exercise, feeding schedules, and overall pet wellbeing. Professionally, I have worked at a dog kennel where I was responsible for feeding, bathing, and supervising dogs in group play settings while ensuring safety and appropriate behavior. I also worked as a bather at a pet store, where I gained experience handling dogs during grooming-related services and maintaining their comfort throughout the process. I take pride in providing reliable, attentive care and treating every pet as if they were my own. I'm currently an aspiring Graphic Designer who just graduated from JMU. I am back home in the area for a while and looking to gain some clients while I’m there. I am willing to travel to your home to dog sit and give your dog the best care that I can while your gone. About: Hello! I am a farm girl who grew up with dogs , cats , horses, cows and sheep. Over the past twenty five years I have adopted four rescue dogs taking dogs who were older and harder to adopt. If I could I would give every rescue animal a home. I have had success working with animals who others find daunting. I am skilled in basic obedience training and click training. I love puppies and elderly dogs equally. I am currently taking classes to start a new career and my schedule is very flexible. I can pet sit 7 days a week and will do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs I can come to your home and feed, walk, play or sit with your pet. I will be very conscientious about security and cleanliness and will update you with msgs via text or email. About four years ago I got a puppy of my own and she has been an amazing companion. I also have experience working with special needs dogs as I have dog sat for a deaf Westie in the past. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies since I was 8. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to take care of their furry friends. I always care deeply for the pets too as they always deserve a happy life even if family is away on a trip. I currently work weekdays from 12-7 but can have a break during the day for an hour. About: The benefits of dogs swimming are tremendous! Whether it's releasing energy in younger pups or offering joint pain relief in seniors, I am excited to offer dog swimming as a service in my outdoor pool. This service includes pickup/drop-off, a half an hour swim with life jacket, one on one swim coaching, picture and/or video of your pup and a post swim shower. This service is listed under Doggy Day Care for $100. Feel free to message me with any questions or set up a meet and greet at your house. I have completed training as a dog groom technician and work part time at a local grooming salon. I have experience in handling dogs of any age, especially seniors. I understand the extra care and attention senior pups should have. I also love the energy in younger pups and embrace the opportunity to provide them with effective, yet enjoyable exercise. In addition to walking dogs, I am also a trained dog groomer technician. This allows me flexibility to accommodate various scheduling needs. I will only take on one client per visit and will only handle two or more dogs if they live in the same home.

I work 4 days a week as an RN but that means my daily availability fluctuates each week to help provide the best care for your pets. About: I have had the pleasure to take care of animals my whole life. After going to boot camp I realized how much animals actually give you peace of mind on a daily basis and I have taken care of neighbors animals and family ever since. I have plenty of space for animals of all sizes and a fenced in yard for dogs who need to run. I love to go on walks as I am very active and have to keep my 2 mile up always. I am also very patient for kitties who just want to lay around and sleep. If given the opportunity I would love to spend my time with the animals you love. I am in the national guard so I work 1 weekend a month and the rest is free! I am currently trying to make animal sitting an everyday thing so I can work out any times needed. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space inside as well. I have a doggy door for smaller dogs but I can let the bigger ones out just as easily. I do have a cat that is very friendly but she can go in my room if needed. There is room in my house to play and room for an animal to be alone if they wanted or needed

About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

About: Hi! I have experience caring for senior dogs and cats as well as kittens. I have helped change diapers, clean up messes, give relaxing baths, and provide as much exercise as possible for any pets I have watched over the years. As a professional housekeeper, no incontinence issue is too much for me! As long as your fur baby is happy and safe. I am currently on leave without pay from my full time job (until an undetermined time) so I have open availability to pet sit this summer for anyone who plans on taking a little vacation! I treat all pets with kindness and patience, always keeping in mind that any "aggression" is just a tiny animal who may be scared or hurting.
