About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. I currently have a chocolate lab who I took through two rounds of AKC good citizen training. I love working with animals & bringing out the best in them. I currently work remotely so I am available throughout the week if your house has a strong wi-fi connection that will allow me to work from your place while petsitting. Otherwise I am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day. I have a dog that lives in my house & sleeps in my bed. We have a fenced in yard but she gets 3 walks & some fetch training every day. Additionally, we often go to Pandapas to hike the trails.

About: I have been pet sitting for eight years and have been trusted to care for homes and animals of deployed service members numerous times (military child). I have experience with walking, feeding, giving medication, and basic hygiene (brushing, bathing, etc), and I can ensure that your pet will be cared for and given lots of enrichment! I have worked with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, and amphibians! My goal is to make sure that your pet is looked after with as much love as I would give my own! I work hybrid (in office part time) and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to take care of your pet(s) without a worry! Whether I am walking or simply checking in on your pet safety is my number one goal! As a pet owner I understand how nerve wracking it can be to leave your beloved pet, so I aim to communicate throughouly during your absence to let you know that your pet is being cared for and safe!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds and sizes since I was 17. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and administer medications to their pets. I will ensure that the pet keeps their routine to the best of my ability if applicable. I always try to ensure the pet gets a walk at least once a day when I am watching them. I consider myself to be very patient and creative when working with pets. I work full-time but would be able to make home visits before work and any time after work. If your pet needs more visits during the day we can discuss our options. To ensure safety on walks I am very responsible to make sure your fur baby is leashed up before exiting the home or fenced area for walks around the neighborhood. When in a clients home I will ensure your fur babies safety by leashing up your dog in the home before going on walks and following your guidelines as requested. If any questions come up I will be calling or texting to ensure all requests are met in an appropriate manner.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, my family had some growing up and once I moved out I got 2 of my own. I’ve also watched many neighbors and friends dogs since i was young and feel more than comfortable taking them out, administering medicine, and loving on them! Fur babies are family and should be treated as such! And that’s exactly the kind of care I would show your fur baby. Dogs are creatures of habit, so it’s important for me to know what your routine looks like so I can try my best to keep it the same. It will be as if you’re not even gone! I work from home so my days are extremely flexible. Aside from occasional meetings and needing to administer my own dog his medication three times a day (6am, 2pm and 10pm) I have an open schedule to check in on your baby. If you were to bring your dog to me, they would be in a spacious little townhome with an open yard. All I ask is that your dog is friendly with other dogs, as I have 2 at home that would be there with us. One is a staffordshire terrier/husky mix, and the other is a border collie. They all would get plenty of walks and playtime together. If I were to drop in at your home, I would take whatever care necessary! What that looks like is up to you. Taking your dog on a walk, administering medicine, playing with them, whatever you and your pet need!

About: I’ve always been a huge lover of animals ever since I was little and have always had a passion for providing them the best care possible. I have nearly three years of Veterinary experience working as an assistant and am currently attending college to further my education in veterinary medicine. Over the years I’ve assisted with my mom’s petsitting business, volunteered and fostered with my local shelter and have taken various animal care based classes throughout my college career. I have experience with pets of nearly every temperament, age and special needs and have provided care for animals in various different circumstances through sickness and in health. I’ve lived in the Blacksburg area for almost a year now after accepting admission into Virginia Tech. Currently I’m working a part time job over the summer where I have been working early mornings starting at 5am and ending around 11am. I’m able to provide early morning care before my shift and in the afternoon when I am off. Along with care in the evening time as well. Unfortunately I am unable to do petsitting out of my own home but I will strive to give your pets the best care out of your home. About: I have cared for pets of all ages over the years and adopted a pup of my own about two years ago. He’s up to date on all vaccinations and loves other dogs. I have experience with giving medications to animals, caring for both puppies and older pups, and my apartment is hardwood floors so accidents aren’t a problem! I am a graduate assistant and in grad school. This means that I word pretty weird hours and I do a lot of work remotely. I’m home anywhere between 8 hours to 24 hours a day and can rearrange my schedule depending on the needs of the animal. There is a dog park nearby and it’s a safe area. For my pup, and pups I’ve boarded/cared for before, I traditionally feed them in the AM and give them plenty of water. We go to the dog park to start the day and get the energy out. I make sure to leave dog-safe toys on the floor so they know they have stuff to play with and I dog proof the apartment before I leave each time so they don’t get into things they shouldn’t. We go out later in the day to the dog park again to socialize or get the zoomies going. We go back and have a little more food or a snack and then hang out before going out on a walk to end the day. I'm working full-time in ministry so I have lots of time throughout the day to care for your loved one and will be gone no more than a few hours per evening for bible studies and groups. I take my dog, Tonka, out 5-6 times per day minimum and we love to go on walks and be outdoors. I have a large field directly behind my apartment and live in a very pet-friendly area tucked off the main road so your pup will enjoy lots of safe and supervised outside time! I allow animals on the furniture and keep all choking hazards up high. My dog has a knack for finding even the smallest things to mess with so I have good practice with keeping a safe home.

About: I have worked at a humane society shelter as a volunteer for years in Michigan. I have fostered animals as well as helped dogs and cats give birth. I have experience with pet sitting and taking care of pets. I believe pets are our children. I have open flexibility and can give many references on how trust worthy i am as i owned a cleaning business here in nrv for 10 plus years licensed and insured. While at a clients home I will make sure the home stays cleaned up from the pet and goes on its normal scheduled walks and or care. While the pet is at my home it will have its own personal area that is kept well and it won't interact with our cats. Walks and playtime will be included.

About: I have owned dogs most of my life. Right now, I own a senior mini Aussie. I would love to help care for you fur baby. I am a stay at home mom to 3 teenagers. I have a very flexible schedule and able to meet the needs of your pet. I am very active so I can walk/jog with your dog if needed, or just play fetch with your dog.
