About: I have been caring for dogs for over 20 years, and had a business running my own daily poochie playgroup and doing home boarding in the Old Town area of Alexandria, VA since 1998. I moved to the Charlottesville area and am missing all my furry friends. Now I am available for walks, home visits and house sitting in your home with my dog Badger<3 I love taking walks and Badger is a great doggie companion for your pooch while you are away! I've also taken care of bunnies, ferrets, horses...you name it I'm a big animal lover! About: I am a lover of all animals, especially dogs. I grew up with dogs of all kinds, big and small. Therefore, I know that dogs have different needs and personalities. About four years ago I got a puppy of my own and she has been an amazing companion. I also have experience working with special needs dogs as I have dog sat for a deaf Westie in the past. I would love to care for your pets! I am currently only available on the weekends for services including walks, boarding, and drop in visits. I am available for boarding or doggy daycare. About: Some of my pet experience includes bathing dogs, taking care of dogs for friends, having my own dog who i care for, and loving all animals. I’ve trained my dog to for certain commands which i believe is very helpful. All my friends come to me when they need someone to take care of their fur babies! I am a college student with a work load, however no job. A lot of my days are spent in my home doing homework and pet care fits into my schedule because I can always be there to play and take you pets out. I don’t have very long classes either or in a big stretch so your pay would be cared for almost 24/7 I care for pets as if they were my children haha! About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

I currently do work full time but I do create my own schedule and am pretty flexible so we can work around the hours needed for you and your pet! I do currently have two male dogs who are 8 and 9 years old. They both are very friendly and very playful. They play with puppies and older dogs very well and they’re very diverse with sizes of dogs who they are around. If your dog is aggressive to other male dogs, this won’t be a good fit for you. However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

About: I grew up on a farm around many different types of animals. I believe that your dogs life is short and giving them a good day matters. As a dog mom myself I believe everyone fur baby deserves to spend a few minutes outside everyday especially with their new favorite play date, me! I am a full time first responder thankfully with this schedule I have many days off to rest relax and take your fur baby on an adventure. You have a high energy dog? No worries! I’m a very active individual and wouldn’t mind taking your dog on a run! My dogs enjoy a large front yard they run around in. I believe outside play is important for a dogs mental health. Of course your dog will receive lots of loving and treats from me after a nice long walk outside.

About: Hi! I have experience caring for senior dogs and cats as well as kittens. I have helped change diapers, clean up messes, give relaxing baths, and provide as much exercise as possible for any pets I have watched over the years. As a professional housekeeper, no incontinence issue is too much for me! As long as your fur baby is happy and safe. I am currently on leave without pay from my full time job (until an undetermined time) so I have open availability to pet sit this summer for anyone who plans on taking a little vacation! I treat all pets with kindness and patience, always keeping in mind that any "aggression" is just a tiny animal who may be scared or hurting. Every animal is different and I'm always willing to learn how to keep each one safe depending on what the owner wants. After going to boot camp I realized how much animals actually give you peace of mind on a daily basis and I have taken care of neighbors animals and family ever since. I have plenty of space for animals of all sizes and a fenced in yard for dogs who need to run. I love to go on walks as I am very active and have to keep my 2 mile up always. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space inside as well. I have a doggy door for smaller dogs but I can let the bigger ones out just as easily. I’ve used other dog sitting apps in the past and I’ve recently moved into a larger house to have plenty of room for your fur baby to have room to run and play. I will provide walks and play time everyday, and if you need baths or anything extra I will. I’m home 90% of the time so your fur baby will never really be alone.
