About: I’ve worked with dogs through house sitting and volunteering at a humane society, so I’m used to all kinds of personalities. I keep things relaxed, follow their routine, and make sure they get lots of love, playtime, and attention! Plus updates so you don’t miss them too much :) I’m currently working part time and a college student! My schedule fluctuates week by week! I have a lot of weekend availability and some week availability for in house staying! For walking your pet I can pretty much work around whatever! With summer coming up my schedule will be changing and I should have lots of extra time! I care for pets by following their normal routine closely in their home like feeding, fresh water, playtime, and comfort so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. For walks, I focus on safe, structured exercise that matches their energy level, making sure they get plenty of time to explore and potty while staying secure on leash. I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness.

About: I am a lover of all animals, especially dogs. I grew up with dogs of all kinds, big and small. Therefore, I know that dogs have different needs and personalities. About four years ago I got a puppy of my own and she has been an amazing companion. I also have experience working with special needs dogs as I have dog sat for a deaf Westie in the past. I would love to care for your pets! I am currently only available on the weekends for services including walks, boarding, and drop in visits. I am available for boarding or doggy daycare. I have a fenced in yard and have a sweet four year old dog to keep your pups entertained.

My dogs live inside, but have access to a 1 acre fenced in yard where they can roam as they please. They are fed & watered on a routine (usually 2x a day for feedings watering as needed) & given treats as I see fit. I believe in treating each pet as they're my own, & will cater to the needs of your babies!

About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

About: I grew up on a farm around many different types of animals. I believe that your dogs life is short and giving them a good day matters. As a dog mom myself I believe everyone fur baby deserves to spend a few minutes outside everyday especially with their new favorite play date, me! I am a full time first responder thankfully with this schedule I have many days off to rest relax and take your fur baby on an adventure. You have a high energy dog? No worries! I’m a very active individual and wouldn’t mind taking your dog on a run! My dogs enjoy a large front yard they run around in. I believe outside play is important for a dogs mental health. Of course your dog will receive lots of loving and treats from me after a nice long walk outside.

About: Ever since I was born I had an animal right by my side . I have learned to take care of animals and provide for them. I have taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets in the past. I also have worked at a dog daycare called tail chasers so I have experience with big dog groups. I’m good with cats as well . I’m experienced with walking multiple dogs at a time because I got 3 myself. I’m currently working 3:30 am to 12:00 pm so I will have plenty time to spend with your animals. I’m free on the weekends as well . Willing to come to your place to house sit and take care of your animals. I have done that in the past for people. Willing to also stop by and give water, food and walks with some play time on the side .

About: I have over 500 hours of dog watching and raising experience (outside of my own pets) and spent over 800 hours volunteering cat care for kittens and disabled kitties I am a grad student with a totally flexible schedule and can work from home easily if needed! I will be able to incorporate your pet into my routine seamlessly. I also have the ability to fully care for your pet at their own home. I am able to be there often if needed or can stop by for occasional visits based off your own needs.

About: Some of my pet experience includes bathing dogs, taking care of dogs for friends, having my own dog who i care for, and loving all animals. I’ve trained my dog to for certain commands which i believe is very helpful. All my friends come to me when they need someone to take care of their fur babies! I am a college student with a work load, however no job. A lot of my days are spent in my home doing homework and pet care fits into my schedule because I can always be there to play and take you pets out. I don’t have very long classes either or in a big stretch so your pay would be cared for almost 24/7 I care for pets as if they were my children haha! In my home, I have bowls, treats, and toys for your pets. In your home, I would respect the space and take care of your pet as if it were my own.

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s animals for over 10 years. I also have worked as a veterinary assistant since 2020. I graduated undergrad in 2022. I’m currently a full time veterinary assistant at VMCVM ICU. I currently work an overnight schedule but am available during the day! I will be returning to vet school again in January after a short leave of absence I’m able to walk, feed, give medications, and play with your animals! I’m comfortable with all types of animals with a variety of health problems and temperaments. I currently work night shift so I’m available most times during the day! I also am free all weekends so I have plenty of time to spend time with your pets! I currently live in a house with a fenced in yard. I care for my own dog and have him run around the yard for lots of exercise. Although I wouldn’t be using my house for stays, I am more than happy to spend the same amount of time caring for your pets!

About: I have grown up with pets my whole life. I have had chickens for about 7 years and 4 dogs for over 15 years. I also have some experience with other animals as well. I grew up with three German shepherds and a crazy hyper Jack Russell. We bred our two german shepherds and kept one puppy from the litter so I do have experience with puppies and the patience to take care of them. The two shepherds I grew up with passed away due to sicknesses so I also have experience taking care of sick dogs and giving them the extra special care they need! I have also taken care of friends pets numerous times. I have always had a love for caring for animals and getting to spend quality time with them. Growing up surrounded by all sorts of pets has given me the skills of patience and how to give the correct care and attention each specific pet needs. I’m currently in school for the medical field and have a pretty full schedule in the mornings during the week. But I have a clear schedule Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and am available in the afternoons during the week. I live in the countryside with many acres of open land so I have plenty of space your pets can roam around, play, and not have to worry about keeping them on a leash when they are being watched. If my client is not comfortable with letting them go without a leash I also have an extremely large fenced in area that small dogs to large dogs cannot get out of. I do have a Jack Russell who is old so I keep other animals away from her to make sure she is safe and not at risk of being hurt since she is older. I also have a German shepherd and she is all love and cuddles and enjoys play time with other dogs and would love another furry friend to play with!

About: I have been dog sitting around my neighborhood since I was about 13. I have lots of experience not only dog sitting but house sitting as well. I also have experience with puppies and helping train/teach them. My biggest experience is working for a doggie daycare and working at a dog park (BarK for anyone familiar!) Along with this I also have had two cats and two dogs of my own who I love dearly. I am also CPR certified in dog CPR and have basic first-aid experience with animals! I am currently searching for a job so I have plenty of time to focus on you and your pets! I would love to spend as much time as your pets need to make sure they are comfortable and happy :) As of now I won’t be able to offer boarding/daycare at my place but at others houses I want to make sure both human and dog have the best experience possible. I will always check what is expected of the pets during our time together (allowed on furniture? Nice to others on walks? Etc) I make sure that the pets are getting the most out of our time together with lots of interaction and love :)

About: I have taken care of and trained a Doberman Pincher with leash issues. I took in a feral cat and cared for her for 16 years. I am currently taking care of a miniature poodle. I am comfortable with both small and large dogs and I know the power of a calm and assertive energy. I also have a lot of love for cats and understand the process of earning trust. My partner and I have just moved to Blacksburg and I am excited to meet new people. I have all day to care for your pets! My schedule is incredibly flexible. I am an inherently detail oriented and methodical person so following your instructions precisely is always my goal. About: i’ve worked as a dog daycare worker at petsmart last year and have always grown up taking care of and training my pets and took 2 years of veterinary classes i’m currently a college student and will be coming home for a month and will have plenty of time to myself and wanted to spend it helping take care of pets the way i would want someone to take care of mine. About: Growing up, I have done pet and house sitting in various cities and situations. I come from a family of animal lovers: my mom won't even kill a house insect, and her mom has been know to adopt cats, birds, and even the occasional squirrel! We have no dogs of our own at this point, but I love to watch other peoples' dogs to scratch that canine itch (preferrably behind the ears! 😄) I am a home body with two little ones that are yet to be in school. I will probably be home most of the time your pet is here. We have an unfenced yard with caged chickens, quails, and goats. As a family, we spend lots of time outside and on walks, so your pet will get plenty of time to excercise.
