About: I am an avid animal lover. So when friends, family, and friends of friends have looked for pet sitters they come to me! I have experience with dogs as little as Chihuahuas to as big as Rottweilers and we all know who is more feisty ;) I work during the week but am available for walks after 5pm. I am available for boarding all day on the weekends or during the week if your pets are low-needs during the day! I have a private 3+ acre yard with a kenneled in area if needed. I have crates for my dogs and more than happy to crate yours if needed. I am willing to accommodate most needs/request as long as you are willing to communicate!

About: I have previously volunteered at a rescue for 10 years. I have fostered many animals for the rescue and kept some of those as well. I can handle almost anything. I've also had my fair share of special needs animals, so I'm comfortable handling pets whose needs are out of the ordinary. I've also worked with and owned most types of animals ranging from a few weeks old to 20+ years, so I can provide care to very young or very old animals. I just graduated college and am currently between jobs, so I am at home working on my fixer-upper apartment all day. My schedule is entirely flexible! I will be available almost all waking hours of the day. I can stop in on your schedule to provide care and walks, or just stay over to give the pets round the clock care. I will make sure that your pet stays happy and healthy while in my care!

About: My family adopted a 10 month old rescue pup, Charlie, when I was 7 years old. For the 12 years that I got to spend with him he was my best friend. Although he was stronger than me the first few years of his life, I was still involved in his training and feeding care until I was big enough to take him out and walk him. Once I could handle him, I took him out, walked him, and helped give baths. As an adult, I have done multiple pet-sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends. I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. My job experience includes retail, landscaping, and food/bar service. Working late nights in downtown Blacksburg, I have become keen at cleaning up messes of all kinds. This summer, my schedule is wide open! I play pool a couple of nights a week, but that doesn't last for more than a few hours and I can always go late/leave early to get back to the pets. When the school year starts, I will schedule pet sitting around my class schedule. I am equipped to handle dogs of almost any size on a leash, and I love to play fetch in a yard/at the park. I can keep food and water bowls clean and full, I can crate dogs if needed, and I can keep a litter box clean!

There could be exceptions that come up, but I’ll always confirm timing in advance and stick closely to your pet’s usual feeding and walk schedule. Since I care for pets in your home, I treat your space with respect and follow your instructions to the letter. I keep doors and gates secured, always leash dogs before heading out, and stay alert to each pet’s comfort and body language. I lock up when I leave and send photo updates so you know everyone’s safe and happy.

About: I miss having a furry friend. I have taken care of dogs since I was 5 and thoroughly enjoy their company. My goal is to bond with new dogs while giving them the best care. About: I have about 5 years of experience caring for dogs and cats professionally. I also have some experience caring for guinea pigs, rabbits, and chinchillas. I have worked at doggie daycare facilities/vet clinics, grooming salons, and an animal shelter.
