About: I have over 500 hours of dog watching and raising experience (outside of my own pets) and spent over 800 hours volunteering cat care for kittens and disabled kitties I am a grad student with a totally flexible schedule and can work from home easily if needed! I am able to be there often if needed or can stop by for occasional visits based off your own needs.

About: Pets and wildlife make me happy! Animals put a smile on my face and I would love to meet yours! I own 2 cats and took care of our family dog and cats as my weekly "chores" throughout my childhood, so I've been doing this for a long time now. Some other pets that i've owned include: rabbits, gerbils, fish, aquatic snails, and a hedgehog! Rest assured that I'm always available to tend to your pet in case of an emergency. I'm available nearly any time because I set my own work schedule, and it is usually flexible for me to show up for something when needed. I can also switch things around when necessary. I'm flexible to work with. I'm more than happy to send picture updates and to take care of any special needs that your pet(s) might have! I will always be there to attend to their needs on schedule and will treat them with the same love and care that my own pets receive.

Many people have asked me to take care of their pets while on vacations, day trips, etc. I also have 2 dogs of my own, one being a St Bernard so trust me haha I know how to take care of dogs:) I’m currently home from college so I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets! Always looking forward to it! I always make sure that pets are getting the loving attention they deserve, are getting fed at the correct time and the right amount. I also make sure to take them right out to the bathroom after feeding and I always make sure to refill their water bowls. I also love taking dogs for daily walks whether it’s twice a day or more:)

About: Growing up with large breeds (Bernese Mountain Dog & German Shepard), I’ve always been a lover of all pets, especially dogs. Since relocating to Blacksburg area for work 7 years ago, I’ve pet sat for a variety of animals in the region, ranging from puppies to senior dogs with specific medical needs. It would be an honor to meet and care for your pets! I work full time at VT (a few days are remote/week) and part time at a brewery, although both schedules are quite flexible. I am happy to adjust schedules or remote days to meet your pets needs! I don’t have any pets in my current home, so I’m flexible to either board at my townhouse or stay at the pets home! About: I have had a family dog and a cat for 10+ years. I recently got my own dog the summer of 2021 and she has been with me at college in Virginia. As a college student with a dog I have learned many skills in taking care of my dog Lola! I am currently a junior at Roanoke College! Dog walking is something I’m happy to do and enjoy doing! I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. About: I worked in the vet industry for 3 years at a spay and neuter facility. I have worked with a range of dogs and cats and have animal handling expierence. My preference is smaller dogs but I don't mind working with larger animals. I have also done dog walking and pet sitting for 2 years for family members. I am not certified in anything specifically but I did work as a vet receptionist and did vet assisting for 3 years. I have watched dfferent training videos on animal behavior and animal handlnig when working at the vet facility. I am a full time student with a part time job already. I am looking for something on the side with flexible hours for me. So I have afternoon availability on monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. On weekends I am available in the morning or afternoons. I cannot do pet sitting at my house. Unfortunately I have dogs and cats and the dogs do not play well with others. But I can provide dog walking, check in visits and sometimes pet sitting at my clients houses.

I have also been around animal my whole life. I get off at 3 however your dog will be taken out for lunch. About: I am a new sitter on Rover, but don’t let that put you off. :) My family has never known a time where we didn’t have pets! When I was five years old, my parents entrusted to me a sweet black kitty for whom I was solely responsible for. Not only did this experience affirm my love for animals, but it also jumpstarted me into a world of responsibility! Since then, we have rescued dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes, happily welcoming “bully” breeds and giving them all the love and care they deserve! I’ve cared for elderly dogs and cats with and without disabilities, as well as those who need certain medications or injections. Further, big breeds do not intimidate me- I love them! Perhaps most importantly, I will love and care for your pet as if it were my own! ❤️ I am currently a graduate student at Virginia Tech, and as such, my weekdays are fairly busy until the evenings. If you need overnight care on the weekdays, let me know and we can work something out! I typically have a couple meetings in the mornings that I can conduct on zoom, but I do have in person class from 2-5 that I will need to leave your home for. Fridays and weekends, however, are wide open! I have two sweet, playful cats currently and live in an apartment, so it is likely that care will be provided in your house! I often find this is better anyway, as your pet is already comfortable in their home and less likely to feel stress with change.
