About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm surrounded by all sorts of creatures, and that early love has stayed with me. While I’m new to Roanoke, I previously supported the DC/NOVA area through Wag! for several years and am now looking forward to building connections with pet families here in my community. As a remote worker with a flexible schedule, I’m able to spend quality time with the animals I care for — whether they’re full of energy or need a little extra support. I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals, routines, and temperaments, and I do my best to honor what each one needs. Over the years, I’ve cared for many senior and special needs animals, including my two old-ladies, Chrissy and Raspy, who passed away this winter. I’m now kept on my toes by two playful kittens, Joan and Lirael. No matter their age, health, or temperament - I'm able to show up with consistency, patience, and care. I aim to be someone you can trust - not just to care for your animals - but to respect your home, follow routines closely, and communicate clearly while you’re away. They would quiet down for me even then. Now, I specialize in public access training with German Shepherds and other extra large breeds. Every dog has a story, and I love meeting each one. My animals are family. It is a joy and honor to me to take care of your family too. I am here to support you and your schedule. With a full time job working from home, I am free to work with you to make sure your dog has what they need. Safety in your home and for your dog is my top priority. I will spend time getting to know your dog, and our time will be oriented around your routine with them.

About: I love all animals! I have been pet-sitting since I was in elementary school. I currently have two tuxedo cats, one of which has to be given medicine twice a day, so I am comfortable with medication administration. I recently graduated from Physician Associate School and I am waiting for the credentialing process to be completed before starting my job! So i have plenty of time to take care of your animals! I care for every pet as if they were my own while also respecting each client’s home, routines, and instructions. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive any approved medications, get appropriate exercise and potty breaks, and have plenty of attention and companionship. I also keep their environment clean by tidying food areas, cleaning up accidents, and maintaining litter boxes or other pet spaces as needed.

About: I grew up dog-sitting for friends and family in addition to caring for my family dog, Abby. I have experience raising and training two puppies, and I worked at a dog boarding facility in Colorado for several months. I work at a local animal shelter Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8am-6pm. I am typically available all day Sunday-Wednesday. For overnight house sitting, I prefer to book days that I am not working so that I'm able to devote my full time and energy to your pet! I am happy to provide any level of care, from occasional drop-ins on standoffish cats to full-time supervision of the rowdiest puppies or neediest seniors!

About: Hello, I'm Delia! I’ve spent a majority of my life taking care of animals. I have 15+ years of experience including experience volunteering at animal shelters. When I'm available to board, I board more specifically with small & medium sized dogs, but am open to larger breeds for services outside my own home. I work with every one of my clients with any special requests they have and provide plenty of pictures with daily updates. I also have experience with cats, birds, and reptiles. I love all animals just the same. I have also been a live in dog sitter, have accommodated strict schedules, taken active leash trained dogs on long hikes, etc. Please don't hesitate to ask about any special requests you may have for your pets care. I have 2 spoiled pups of my own: a rambunctious Lhasa Apso mix (Gambit) and a timid special needs toy poodle (Yara). I love taking my pups to parks for walks, short hikes in the mountains, walks around the neighborhood, running around the back yard, throwing around their favorite squeak toys, and loads of cuddles. I'm a medically retired Marine Corps vet with no children, so my pups are the center of attention. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies for ultimate spoiling! Being a full time stay at home dog mom is already my job so I have plenty of time and love to care for more pups. I try to keep them on their regular schedule as much as possible whether that's cuddling on the couch, long walks around your neighborhood, or even going to their favorite park to run around or go for a hike. Whatever specific requests you have I will gladly accommodate.

They play with puppies and older dogs very well and they’re very diverse with sizes of dogs who they are around. If your dog is aggressive to other male dogs, this won’t be a good fit for you. However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

About: Hi there! My name is Ashtyn! My whole life has been filled with animals! Growing up, I had a Yellow Lab, Dawson, and Maine Coon, Zeke. Sadly, they went to doggy and kitty heaven when I was around 10🥺 In November of 2023, I lost my sweet Treeing-Walker Coonhound named, Maverick. He was as feisty as they come! Now, my husband & I spend our time loving on his pup, Bella, a Pitbull/Alaskan Malamute mix, & our 1-year-old Dachshund, Rex. Although I got connected on Rover in 2023, I have taken care of all different dog breeds from small to large over the past 6 years. Many of them have been in this area, while some were down in West Palm Beach, Florida when I lived there! I have consistent clients all around!! I would love for you & your pup to be one ◡̈ I just graduated with my degree in Communications & Journalism, which led to my new dog-sitting company! I also sit through Rover!! I am available full-time ☺️ I prefer to care for your pet in the home that they are used to! That being said, I can stay at your home overnight, just during the day, or come over intermittently for walks!

I worked at a doggy day care for a year, as well as a dog walking company in Los Angeles where I took 5-6 dogs at a time for walks/hikes.
