“Incredibly attentive to detail, Samantha is the only one we trust our cat, Bear, with. Great communication and will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Our cat loves her!!”

“Emily is professional and thorough and was so good with my kitty Roux☺️. She made it so much easier to go away because I knew my fur baby was in good hands. Her timely check-ins and photos put me completely at ease!”

“Megan is simply the best! We continue to have her take care of our two fur babies, because she is so responsible and always goes the extra mile! Every visit is reported with the best pictures and write ups. The pups are clearly enjoying themselves and feeling secure, just as we are! We certainly are thankful to have found Megan!!”

Hannah's is very responsive and thorough in her communication and her interactions with my dog very both loving and playful. I appreciate her reliability and will definitely book with her again!”

About: Growing up I was surrounded by giant dogs, some of which were 120+lbs, at the age of 8 I would cuddle up with and play with Italian mastiffs and boxers. I had a lot of dogs growing up and those are just two breeds, I also have experience with Chihuahuas and French bulldogs, and many more. From this I have learned how to interact and play with each size of dog in a way that safe, responsible, and still fun for everyone involved. I'm free most of my days and since moving here I haven't had many interactions with dogs, and would love to fill up my weekdays taking care of and playing with some pups Each dog I see will get some form of playtime or excersize that's allowed by the usable space that's available to be played or excersized in, whether that be going for a walk or a 10-15 minute play session in a fenced back yard, on a leash, or in an open living room/ living space, playing fetch or tug of war or letting them just run around a bit. This of course varies given my familiarity with the pup and their behaviors
“Haley did an excellent job! I was a little nervous when we got home late that our senior dog would be anxiously pacing the house. He does not like changes in his routine. Alvin was happily sleeping in the kitchen when we got home! She apparently was able to keep him calm, give him his medications, and treat him just like we were here.”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover who finds true joy in caring for animals and keeping them happy, healthy, and loved - especially while their family is away. Whether it’s a peaceful walk around the neighborhood (and all the sniffs!) or a quick drop in visit, your pet will be in caring and capable hands. I’ve always had a nurturing nature and have 2 dogs of my own. I’m dependable, detail-oriented and committed to ensuring your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away on vacation or just at work! I’d love to help 🫶🏼 I work remotely for a flexible IT startup and certainly have the availability for walks and drop-ins at any time of the day. Weekends are flexible as well. Your pets well-being is my top priority. I will get to learn their personality and quirks, what makes them happy, and ensure I can make them feel secure and content. For walks, I will always like to have a harness, let them go at their pace, and of course enjoys themselves! During drop-ins visits, I will follow your instructions carefully (feeding, medications, potty breaks, etc.) and always be mindful that your home stays secure - locking doors, cleaning up messes, etc. I will also send regular text updates and Photos so you know how your pet is doing! Building trust with both pets and their family is important to me, and I will treat your pup and home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.
“I’m sure my two alpha dogs had their barking fight and knocked the water container over. Everything looked great when we returned. I have no complaints-only great appreciation for her taking care of things and keeping my puppies (grown dogs) attended to. We had to leave early and she even adjusted her schedule to help out earlier. Plan to request her back in June”

About: In addition to caring for my own dog and cat, I've also helped with my neighbor's dog, and my sister's dogs. I've got a fully fenced in back yard that's almost a full acre. And my german shepherd is incredibly sweet and gentle around other animals. I keep my weekends free so I can hang out with your pet! With school out my 15 year old daughter is home too and is eager to help love on some new pooches. My mother is also home most of the time working, and we are used to loud dog barks! In my home I have a German shepherd upstairs full time and a pit bull mix downstairs in the afternoon. Both are sweet and energetic and love new dogs! My cat does better with people, but she knows how to stay out of dodge when its needed. We do crate our dog when we leave the house but she free roams at night, alternating between the bed and the floor and the couch as she pleases. I would require your dog to be crate trained in case I need to leave the house during a boarding session. In your home, your rule is law. Whether its feeding your cat a carefully measured amount of wet food or keeping the litter box filled exactly half way, your standards are mine and I'm happy to go the extra mile. Likewise for a doggy drop-in to walk and feed. I always pick up after my pet on a walk so your neighbors have nothing to fear from me. And I'm used to reigning in a 90lb German shepherd who wants to make friends with every neighborhood stray cat so you can rest assured that I can keep hold of your dog on a walk.
Cave Spring pet parents share their Rover experiences
Julia is, hands down, an amazing dog sitter. She is so attentive and clearly loves dogs. She wasn’t deterred by my grumpy Great Dane’s barking and she made sure to cuddle my oldest dog while playing fetch & tug with my high energy shepherd. She was punctual, communicative, and sent photos. She even went out of her way to bring my 75 pound Chewy box delivery inside and washed mugs I had left in the sink before I went out of town. My dogs loved her. Can’t recommend her enough.
Autumn did a wonderful job caring for our pup, Gordy! It was great to receive the photos of their interactions each day, along with the detailed updates about his pees, poops, and other actions. Autumn is great at communication and is clearly trustworthy, while also being receptive to feedback and following through with specific requests. She was a wonderful asset for our sirtuation!

Erin and Matthew were great! They came just as scheduled, sent pictures each time and I could tell that Toby was happy for companionship and walks with them. There was even a little game of tug of war. Erin and Matthew were very dependable and good with communication. I definitely hope to book these two if I have another need! I certainly recommend them.
I've known Erica for YEARS. She's a truly kind, sweet person who genuinely loves animals 🩷. This was her first time watching my doggie, but hopefully won't be her last. Peanut loves Erica and her son so much! They took great care of her. I had one happy (and tired ☺️) baby when I got home!
