Hi, I'm Keely! In addition to Rover, I am also the owner of Roanoke Valley Pet Sitters. I'm a big animal lover and pet care professional. In addition to pet sitting, I also rescue and care for stray cats around the Roanoke Valley in my free time. I graduated with my Master of Science degree from Georgetown University in 2024, and I'm a published scientific author. I provide overnight, in-home pet sitting for cats and dogs who are happiest staying in their own home. From evening routines to morning walks, I make sure your pets receive loving, consistent care while you’re away. I’m experienced with cats, dogs, seniors, and pets needing medication, and I always follow your pet’s normal schedule. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and bedtime habits, to minimize stress while their owners are away. I treat every home with respect and take safety seriously, securing doors and gates, monitoring pets during walks, and being attentive to any changes in behavior or health. I provide regular updates and photos so clients always know how their pets are doing, and I’m experienced with cats and dogs of all ages, including seniors and pets who need medication or extra patience. My goal is to create a calm, familiar environment where pets feel safe, cared for, and loved, and where owners can have complete peace of mind while they’re away.`

Keely was amazing! She took such great care of our 14 year diabetic cat, checking glucose levels and giving insulin. She also fed our two outdoor kitties. She sent daily photos and updates multiple times per day and followed all directions. She went well beyond what a typical pet sitter would do. We were able to enjoy our trip and relax knowing our pets were in great hands! She truly gave us a sense of security. I hope to use Keely again in the near future and highly recommend her if you need care for your furry family members!

Schedule
Pet care is a central part of my daily routine, not something I squeeze in between other commitments. I intentionally structure my schedule around my bookings so I can provide consistent, attentive care without rushing. This allows me to be fully present for overnight stays, walks, and check-ins, and to maintain pets’ normal routines as closely as possible. I prioritize reliability, flexibility, and communication, so clients can feel confident their pets are receiving dedicated care and companionship while they’re away.
