Pet care is a central part of my daily routine, not something I squeeze in between other commitments. I intentionally structure my schedule around my bookings so I can provide consistent, attentive care without rushing. This allows me to be fully present for overnight stays, walks, and check-ins, and to maintain pets’ normal routines as closely as possible. I prioritize reliability, flexibility, and communication, so clients can feel confident their pets are receiving dedicated care and companionship while they’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets exclusively in their own homes, where they’re most comfortable and secure. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and bedtime habits, to minimize stress while their owners are away. I treat every home with respect and take safety seriously, securing doors and gates, monitoring pets during walks, and being attentive to any changes in behavior or health. I provide regular updates and photos so clients always know how their pets are doing, and I’m experienced with cats and dogs of all ages, including seniors and pets who need medication or extra patience. My goal is to create a calm, familiar environment where pets feel safe, cared for, and loved, and where owners can have complete peace of mind while they’re away.`
Information Keely B. would like to know about your pet
Before a booking, I like to learn as much as possible about each pet so I can provide the safest and most comfortable care. This includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, walking preferences, medications or medical needs, and any behavioral quirks or anxieties. For dogs, I ask about leash manners, reactivity, energy level, and favorite activities. For cats, I ask about litter habits, play style, hiding spots, and how they prefer to receive attention. I also appreciate knowing what makes your pet feel most at ease: favorite toys, treats, sleeping spots, and any house rules you’d like followed. Understanding these details ahead of time allows me to keep pets on their normal routine and helps them feel secure and relaxed while you’re away. Any information about your animal's medications or special diet should be communicated ahead of time. If your dog has specific preferences, I would also like to know this. I have a google form that clients can fill out to provide all of these instructions electronically, but I prefer written instructions from clients if I am caring for their pets for longer than 48 hours.
A typical day
A typical day is built around each pet’s individual needs and personality. For dogs, that includes regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of companionship. I enjoy keeping dogs engaged with sniff walks, gentle play, and calm downtime so they stay happy and relaxed. I always adjust activity levels based on age, energy, and health. Or special care notes from clients. Cats are never an afterthought in my care. I make dedicated time for interactive play, enrichment, and 1-on-1 attention, whether that’s wand toys, brushing, or simply sitting with them for affection and companionship. I have one cat who loves aggressive butt pats and brushing (ADHDer in need of stimulation), and one who is on his own terms (or when treats are involved). I closely monitor eating, litter box habits, and behavior, and I respect each cat’s preferences, whether they’re social and playful or quieter and more independent. I adore felines <3

Reviews

Keely was great with a long housesitting and provided regular updates to help us enjoy our vacation and know our pup was safe and happy.

Keely was very responsive and sent so many fun pictures to assure our pups were being well taken care of! Definitely recommend and will be booking with her again in the future 😊
Keely was amazing! She took such great care of our 14 year diabetic cat, checking glucose levels and giving insulin. She also fed our two outdoor kitties. She sent daily photos and updates multiple times per day and followed all directions. She went well beyond what a typical pet sitter would do. We were able to enjoy our trip and relax knowing our pets were in great hands! She truly gave us a sense of security. I hope to use Keely again in the near future and highly recommend her if you need care for your furry family members!
Everything went smoothly and our dog seemed to have a good time. Keely was very easy to work with and communicative.
