“Michele was great and I highly recommend this Dog Vacay. She has the perfect house and large fenced yard for dogs to run around and play. “Marah was wonderful, our dogs had such a great time and we got daily evening updates/photos! Marah was great at communicating the boarding service and what we needed to bring which was just their food and drop off with a leash. She had them ready when we arrived, and we could tell they had a great stay! We plan to use Marah for all our upcoming boarding needs.”

About: There have also been pets in my house and I have also made myself available to pet sit for friends and family. I am flexible in when and how to care for your smallest or largest family member. I am a runner so I would love to have a buddy join me on a run, jog, or even a walk. I can care for your pup at my house or your house which ever one you would be comfortable with. At the moment I can be open anytime of the week, and visiting houses multiple times in the day to ensure that your furry friend feelings loved and cared for throughout the day. Whether that's a potty break, a snack, or a big ole tummy rub. I’m a teacher on summer break though I do have a part time evening job that starts at 430 my husband comes home at 4 and probably loves dogs even more than me. I have a large fenced backyard and plenty of room in my house for exploring. We do have a small rescue Chihuahua, but she is friendly and very kind.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog and watched my neighbors dog, making sure they are well fed, get enough time outside and feel loved while their families are away! I’m currently doing odd jobs over the summer and because of this, I am able to spend a lot of time with your pets! I will be out of the house periodically but will not be out longer than 3-4 hours at a time. I keep a clean and pet-friendly environment at home with plenty of space to relax and a backyard to run around and enjoy time outside. My family will also love spending time with your pet and giving them lots of attention!
“Kim was great! My dog happily ate and played in her care. He came home absolutely worn out. They were super friendly and sent pictures and updates! Will definitely be using them again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cave Spring
Shannon has been watching our dogs for years. My current hound dog is a high energy, social gal and she receives fantastic care from Shannon. We tell our dog she is going to summer camp when we drop her off because I know she has a blast and makes lots of friends. I feel so lucky to have such an awesome caretaker for my pup. Highly recommend Shannon!

This was the first time we had to leave Argo behind since we adopted him from a rescue last summer, and we were a little nervous about it…. But finding Penny and Evan here was such a blessing! Already from the first meet and greet with them I was assured that they would be the perfect company for Argo. They were both interested to know about him and they tried their best to keep the routine that he is used to. And during our trip they kept sending pictures and videos of Argo exploring in their house and backyard, playing with other doggies in their house, and having a great time! It was a great feeling to not worry about our dog while enjoying our vacation and we have to thank Penny and Evan for that! They have become Argo’s best friends and he will be happy to stay with them next time he needs to! Overall, this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet sitters.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
