The owners are very forthcoming with information before taking your animals to board there. It was worth the 40 minute drive. She was super accommodating in setting up a meet n greet prior to Gemma's stay. I think it's always nice to let dogs meet and sniff things out before just dropping them off at a strangers home! Gemma is slow to warm up to other dogs and Shannon allowed her space to do that, which I greatly appreciate. Her own two dogs are very friendly and well behaved - good energy to have when your dog might be nervous in a new place. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back. Thanks so much, Shannon!!”
About: I've watched dogs and cats with all different personalities and needs (i.e. blind, diabetic, anxious, etc.). I believe in understanding a pet's needs from the perspective of the pet and responding with compassion. I work full time, but can usually work from home if needed. I will talk with you before we commit to pet sitting to ensure my schedule works for your needs (if that's getting off early, working from home every day during the time of the sitting, going home over lunch for a walk, etc). I have no fur babies (or kids) of my own, so your babies will get my undivided attention and I will shower them with all the love I wish I could give to my own fur baby if I had one. (Know I recognize that love looks different for different critters - for some it may mean keeping a respectful distance!)

About: I am an avid animal lover. So when friends, family, and friends of friends have looked for pet sitters they come to me! I have experience with dogs as little as Chihuahuas to as big as Rottweilers and we all know who is more feisty ;) I work during the week but am available for walks after 5pm. I am available for boarding all day on the weekends or during the week if your pets are low-needs during the day! I have a private 3+ acre yard with a kenneled in area if needed. I have crates for my dogs and more than happy to crate yours if needed. I am willing to accommodate most needs/request as long as you are willing to communicate!
