About: I have previously volunteered at a rescue for 10 years. I have fostered many animals for the rescue and kept some of those as well. I can handle almost anything. I've also had my fair share of special needs animals, so I'm comfortable handling pets whose needs are out of the ordinary. I've also worked with and owned most types of animals ranging from a few weeks old to 20+ years, so I can provide care to very young or very old animals. I just graduated college and am currently between jobs, so I am at home working on my fixer-upper apartment all day. My schedule is entirely flexible! I will be available almost all waking hours of the day. I can stop in on your schedule to provide care and walks, or just stay over to give the pets round the clock care. I will make sure that your pet stays happy and healthy while in my care!

About: I have lived with, owned, and taken care of dogs, large and small, for my entire life. Family and friends have trusted me to help care for their animals when in need. I have experience with other animals as well including, but not limited to, rabbits, fish, and livestock. Daily, I work 7:30-5:30 M-Th, but I set my own hours, so my schedule can be altered as needed with notice. I do not work F-Sun or any federal holidays. I can drop-in or do walks before and after my work hours unless, otherwise, specified. In my client's homes, I will treat your home with the utmost respect. I will only go where specified to go in the home as well as only do the requested services.

About: My family adopted a 10 month old rescue pup, Charlie, when I was 7 years old. For the 12 years that I got to spend with him he was my best friend. Although he was stronger than me the first few years of his life, I was still involved in his training and feeding care until I was big enough to take him out and walk him. Once I could handle him, I took him out, walked him, and helped give baths. As an adult, I have done multiple pet-sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends. I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. My job experience includes retail, landscaping, and food/bar service. Working late nights in downtown Blacksburg, I have become keen at cleaning up messes of all kinds. This summer, my schedule is wide open! I play pool a couple of nights a week, but that doesn't last for more than a few hours and I can always go late/leave early to get back to the pets. When the school year starts, I will schedule pet sitting around my class schedule. I am equipped to handle dogs of almost any size on a leash, and I love to play fetch in a yard/at the park. I can keep food and water bowls clean and full, I can crate dogs if needed, and I can keep a litter box clean!

About: I have 6+ years of experience with multiple animal species, including dogs and cats of various sizes and attitudes. As a third year veterinary student, I am also capable of handling daily treatments as needed. I’m currently a full-time veterinary student, but year 3 has a schedule perfect to work with your pets. I will have multiple hours per day to visit, walk, etc. I am very willing to tailor my services to your individual needs. Just let me know what is needed, and I am happy to accommodate.

About: I’ve cared for cats, dogs, and chickens my whole life and currently share my home with three cats, so multi-pet households and juggling different feeding routines are second nature to me. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies and kittens to anxious or reactive pets who need a calm, patient presence and a little extra trust-building. I also volunteer at my local animal nonprofit so caring for animals is a real part of my life. Whether it’s house sitting, drop-in visits, or dog walks, I follow your pet’s routine closely and send photo updates so you can relax while you’re away. I work a standard 9–5 on weekdays, so I’m available for morning, evening, and overnight visits during the week, plus weekends. There could be exceptions that come up, but I’ll always confirm timing in advance and stick closely to your pet’s usual feeding and walk schedule. Since I care for pets in your home, I treat your space with respect and follow your instructions to the letter. I keep doors and gates secured, always leash dogs before heading out, and stay alert to each pet’s comfort and body language. I lock up when I leave and send photo updates so you know everyone’s safe and happy.

About: Grown up with dogs my entire life! Had 5 dogs at one time at one point. Owned and comfortable with breeds such as Rottweiler, Golden Retriever, Dachshund, Husky, and more! Free most days as I have breaks in the middle of the day between classes almost every day! Also comfortable pet/house-sitting if we discuss and agree on details/expectations prior! I’ve always treated all pets, most of all dogs a part of the family, both my own and my friends and families pets. I’d treat your dog like I was watching your child because I know that that’s exactly how he or she feels to you!

About: I am an avid animal lover. So when friends, family, and friends of friends have looked for pet sitters they come to me! I have experience with dogs as little as Chihuahuas to as big as Rottweilers and we all know who is more feisty ;) I work during the week but am available for walks after 5pm. I am available for boarding all day on the weekends or during the week if your pets are low-needs during the day! I have a private 3+ acre yard with a kenneled in area if needed. I have crates for my dogs and more than happy to crate yours if needed. I am willing to accommodate most needs/request as long as you are willing to communicate!

About: I’ve had dogs since i was a baby, always been one of my favorite things. I’ve been told i’m an animal whisperer and have a special connection with pets i don’t even know! I’m currently a part time worker, i’d have plenty of time to take care of and watch your animals. l don’t spend much time away from home max would be 4-5hrs on certain days. I’m overly open with pets being out around the house, they can be crated if needed of course. I have a small fenced area but a leash would still be needed preferably due to my neighbors dogs.

About: Growing up with large breeds (Bernese Mountain Dog & German Shepard), I’ve always been a lover of all pets, especially dogs. Since relocating to Blacksburg area for work 8 years ago, I’ve pet sat for a variety of animals in the region, ranging from puppies to senior dogs with specific medical needs. It would be an honor to meet and care for your pets! I work full time at VT with some remote days per week, so it can be a flexible schedule. I am happy to adjust schedules or remote days to meet your pets needs! I don’t have any pets in my current home, so I’m flexible to either board at my townhouse or stay at the pets home! I offer both options to all families and willing to drive up to an hour distance.

About: I have cared for my two 9-year old dogs since they were only a couple months old, so I’m comfortable with every stage from wild puppy energy to the slower, gentler needs of senior dogs. Over the years, I’ve handled sickness, medications, picky eating, and even giving IV fluids, so when it comes to pets who need more attention or special care, I am calm, confident, and capable. I also genuinely love getting outdoors and going on long walks, so active pets will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. My dogs mean the world to me, and I will 100% bring that same patient, loving, reliable energy to every pet I look after. You won't ever have to doubt that your animals will be treated with all the affection, consistency, and comfort they deserve. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I don’t work another job, so I’m fully available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. That means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pets all the attention, walks, and care they need. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m more than happy to spend the whole day with them. I’m fully available most days and can even do my online classes from your home so your pet has company, comfort, and consistency. I love taking dogs on long walks, keeping them active, and giving them plenty of attention throughout the day. I can also stay overnight if needed. I’m big on keeping each pet’s routine exactly the same. Same feeding schedule, same walk times, same habits they’re used to. I’m very detail‑oriented and great at following instructions, especially since I’ve handled everything from puppy care to senior needs, medications, picky eating, and even IV fluids with my own dogs.
