About: I'm an active volunteer with a local animal shelter, where I work hands-on with dogs of many ages, sizes, temperaments, I have experience caring for shy, anxious, high-energy, and sensitive dogs, and I'm comfortable with reading canine body language, building trust, and providing calm, reliable care tailored to each dog's needs. Pet care is part of my regular routine through weekend availability when I'm off work. I plan my schedule around providing attentive, consistent care, including walks, feeding, enrichment and companionship, so each dog receives focused, unhurried attention. I care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and preferred activities. I take time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious pets, by moving at their pace and reading their body language. During the school year, my availability becomes more limited due to my teaching schedule, but I may still be able to accommodate certain evenings, weekends, holidays, or overnight stays with advance notice.
