I just so enjoy being with them and I have a very flexible work schedule so I can always help take care of your furry friend! About: The house my parents moved into when I was only 4 weeks old was unfortunately a dumping ground for unwanted animals. Before I could even walk, I was cuddling with any animal that showed up at our door. This instilled a passion within me that I can finally turn into a profession. From Rescue and fostering to training dogs and showing horses, animals have always been a huge part of my life. In addition to my Management degree, I have an Associate of Science Degree with a major in Animal Science and a specialization in Agriculture. I completed an AKC handlers’ course which focused on reading your dog’s body language to understand their needs. Being so heavily involved in rescue, I have history and experience in dealing with reactive and/or selective dogs. I have many safety features depending on the animals needs including crates, double hung baby gates and 6 ft chain link fence that is separated into two yards. I also offer pet waste removal services. Feel free to send me a note if you have any questions. After a successful 25year business management career, I am now turning my lifetime passion of animal care into a profession. This year I started up my own business, "G'MA DOES". I offer a range of services from dog walking and pet sitting to animal waste removal. I like to stay active! While I have learned a tremendous amount of knowledge from multiple trainers, what I hold most dear is the ongoing information I take in from animal behaviorists such as Cesar Millan. Remember, when you first meet a strange dog practice NO TOUCH, NO TALK, NO EYE CONTACT! *LICENSED AND INSURED* In my house we call it "FURniture" for a reason. I use the "crate and rotate" regimen as needed and for feeding. I also have baby gates at every doorway. My entire backyard is a 6 ft chain length fence and I have it separated into two secured areas for exercise. Inside, one room is a dedicated cat room for litterboxes toys etc. The other two bedrooms will be dedicated safe spaces used for play, overnight stays, or whatever the situation calls for.
