“Such a wonderful service provided with timely updates including pictures. I felt very comfortable leaving the kitties with her. I will definitely use her service again if I need to board Emma and Walley.”

“Mac & his dog Beaker were friendly & welcoming. Murphy was with them 2 nights before being picked up by my daughter-in-law. She reported an easy pickup & that Mac had everything ready to go. Mac had reported that Murphy fit right in.”

“Shawn did an awesome job with my doodle. She sent a couple pictures each day while we were out of town. When we got home my doodle slept all day, I think she was exhausted from playing with Shawn’s 2 dogs. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend!”

“We had a great experience with Emily. We left our puppy with her for 2 nights. She updated us daily with photos. It seemed like our puppy was having a lot of fun with the other dogs which was reassuring. Emily was very accommodating with our drop off and pick up times and communicated with us appropriately. We got our puppy back in good shape and we would definitely trust Emily to take care of our dogs in the future”

“Shannon was wonderful! Her home is a perfect dog palace - very dog friendly with lots of room and a great, fenced backyard! She has nice large areas indoors to be able to separate them as needed. She was super accommodating in setting up a meet n greet prior to Gemma's stay. I think it's always nice to let dogs meet and sniff things out before just dropping them off at a strangers home! Gemma is slow to warm up to other dogs and Shannon allowed her space to do that, which I greatly appreciate. Her own two dogs are very friendly and well behaved - good energy to have when your dog might be nervous in a new place. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back. Thanks so much, Shannon!!”

“Louella had so much fun with Samantha and her husband! She came home exhausted from playing so much (which is exactly what we wanted before we drove a few hours back home to South Carolina!!) thanks for taking care of my girl.”

“Ashley and her family were so nice and sweet to my pups! I have a Great Dane and Aussie and she took such great care of both of them and sent me photos and updates on them daily! I highly recommend her!!”

“Karlie was wonderful. I have an anxious little poodle, and Karlie gave me daily updates and pictures. Apparently Max fell right in with her family pack after a couple of days and was just fine. She even let him sleep in bed with her like he does at home. I know that settled his heart for sure. Big thank you to Karlie and her family for loving Max!”

“Kevin is very knowledgeable about dogs and was very patient with my American bulldog “Goose”. It was his first time being away from home and was scared and was being aggressive. Kevin worked with him and made him feel comfortable and part of the family. I feel 1000% comfortable leaving my dog in his care.”

“Marah always does an excellent job with our dog Lilly! Whenever we drop off Lilly she is always excited! When we pick her up, Marah always provides details about the stay, and it's clear she pays close attention to the dogs! Our dog is very playful and always comes home happy but exhausted. Marah is always the first person we ask whenever we need someone to watch our dog!”

“I hit the jackpot when I found Katie. I was so nervous about leaving my Labradoodle with someone overnight. She sent me updates and pictures the entire time he was with her to put me at ease. She was so attentive to him as well, especially since he’s so shy. I will definitely book her again for Bert. She was so good with him.”

“Kim was great with our little girl Golden Retriever, Lexie. Kim and her boyfriend played ball with her and took her for a walk. Lexie also got to play with two Golden puppies. The fenced in backyard was wonderful for her to burn off that extra energy. Kim sent many pictures to let us know that Lexie was eating well and playing with the others. This was only a two day, one night stay but Kim and her boyfriend went out of their way to make sure Lexie was happy and that we were informed so we would not worry. It was a great experience.”

“We just used Rebecca for our first long trip since getting established with her. She experienced a death in the family while we were gone. She coordinated with our emergency contact to hand off care of our Beagle so she could attend the funeral, but I have no doubt that she would have missed the funeral rather than leave us in a bind while we were in Europe. Her exceptional care of LuLu is surpassed only by her personal integrity. Thank you, Rebecca, for your communication and dependability. We had confidence that you would handle this situation seamlessly, and you did.”

“Abigail went above and beyond in her care for our Lola! I think Lola enjoyed her visit very much, as it felt like Lola was missing Abigail and Cleo the day we brought her home. 🙂 Thank you for such great care!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
