About: I grew up on a small farm raising a variety of animals including dogs and cats. Sometimes what seems to be a mean animal is just a misunderstood animal that need extra time and attention and love. I have a pretty open schedule and would like to build relationships with animals and fellow animal lovers alike. Right now I only do other low commitment jobs like DoorDash and have time to fit you into my schedule. This is kind of a good and bad thing about me but I love an animal that loves food, and I enjoy rewarding them with treats for good behavior. I promise not to fatten up your pets too much though.

About: Over the past 16 years, I've cared for just about any animal you can imagine! A flying squirrel, a 15-foot python, dogs, cats, horses and more. I have my own pup of seven years and we absolutely love welcoming friends into our home. We live on a .4 acre lot in central Christiansburg and I have an incredibly flexible schedule so we're up for anything! Let me put your mind at ease as being away from your beloved pets is hard enough. I'll send multiple updates throughout the day and lots of pictures. Happy to care for any and all animals. I'm working full-time in ministry so I have lots of time throughout the day to care for your loved one and will be gone no more than a few hours per evening for bible studies and groups. I take my dog, Tonka, out 5-6 times per day minimum and we love to go on walks and be outdoors. I have a large field directly behind my home and live in a very pet-friendly area tucked off the main road so your pup will enjoy lots of safe and supervised outside time! I allow animals on the furniture and keep all choking hazards up high. My dog has a knack for finding even the smallest things to mess with so I have good practice with keeping a safe home.

About: Hello! My name is Hayley and I am an animal lover of all kinds. I had a chihuahua for 14.5 years until I had to say goodbye to him in august of 2024. Since then I have found joy in helping others take care of their furry family members. My Pedro was special needs so I am comfortable giving meds or helping with disabled animals as well. I promise to take care of your babies just like they are my own! Same day bookings and short notice bookings will be dependent on my full time work schedule as I work 3 twelve hour night shifts a week but please always reach out as I may be available! I am also willing to pet sitting for other animals like chickens, hedgehogs, etc. Just ask!! I am a full time night shift nurse so my schedule is crazy but allows me to spend the days with your pet. I am also able to get several days in a row off and spend 24/7 with your pet, if scheduled within enough time! If selected, I would treat your baby as if they are my own and would go above abd beyond in caring for them. About: I am a veterinarian who has dedicated her life to caring for animals. I have worked with animals from a young age, including many hours working in vet offices in high school leading up to college and vet school (became a licensed vet in 2020). I am quite comfortable with caring for animals who need medications administered, or more intense levels of care while their owners are away. Working with animals brings me joy and peace, and making sure they are happy and well cared for is my life mission. I believe in fear free handling, and I am happy to work with animals who do not trust unknown people. I am a licensed veterinarian but I am currently in grad school so I am very flexible. I can be home all day if needed, and can provide close supervision. I have a 3 year old female German Shepherd (very friendly!) and cats (mostly outdoor). I have the ability to keep my dog separate if needed but she loves playing with other dogs! I have a full sized truck and the ability to transport animals with me safely. I have 2.5 acres of fenced land for dogs to run and play as well as a small fenced in section adjacent to the house. A pet door offers come and go access to the house. I am free to drop in during the week or board animals for extended periods, and if your animal needs medications administered as part of their care I am very capable. I am comfortable handling large dogs (I have a lot of practice in my line of work as a veterinarian). I am also comfortable with young animals, cats, older animals, and any animal requiring high levels of care.

About: I have had a dog for 8 years and have taken care of him. In addition, I have interacted with many different kinds of dogs and volunteer at the Roanoke and Montgomery County shelters. I currently attend college, but whenever I am home I take care of my dog. I take care of him daily, and I pay attention to his needs I walk my dog, feed him, give him water, play with him, brush him, clean and moisturize his paws, and make sure he is up to date on medications

About: I can’t remember a time where I didn’t have a pet growing up. I have a cavalier who is 4 years old and is spoiled rotten. We got her at 8 weeks. We crate trained her and have also taught her other tricks. I have also kept friends and family member’s pets. If your pet stays with us, they can expect to be cuddled, played with, and have full bellies! I’m a stay at home, so my schedule is very flexible. Our cavalier goes on daily walks; has interactive playtime; and goes out to potty at least 3-4 times a day. Our dog is always leashes outside due to no fenced in yard. About: Hi! I have experience caring for senior dogs and cats as well as kittens. I have helped change diapers, clean up messes, give relaxing baths, and provide as much exercise as possible for any pets I have watched over the years. As a professional housekeeper, no incontinence issue is too much for me! As long as your fur baby is happy and safe. I am currently on leave without pay from my full time job (until an undetermined time) so I have open availability to pet sit this summer for anyone who plans on taking a little vacation! I treat all pets with kindness and patience, always keeping in mind that any "aggression" is just a tiny animal who may be scared or hurting. Every animal is different and I'm always willing to learn how to keep each one safe depending on what the owner wants.
