About: I’ve owned a black Labrador(Anna) for over 13 years, she has not once had any sort of health issue as I’ve feed her well, and kept her up to date on vet visits. I’m caring, compassionate, and smart and versatile enough to be calm in any situation that may arise. I assure you that I will treat your pet as if it were my own. This allows me the freedom to stay focused on your pet and be there when other folks have to leave. If a situation ever does arrive my strength are communication so you can rest assured I will be in constant contact, which as a pet owner for an older girl myself id expect from others if I left her in their care. If the pet requires adequate exercise I have no problem going on a long walk with them and the space is pet friendly as my dog (Anna) is there. About: I’ve cared for cats, dogs, and chickens my whole life and currently share my home with three cats, so multi-pet households and juggling different feeding routines are second nature to me. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies and kittens to anxious or reactive pets who need a calm, patient presence and a little extra trust-building. About: My family adopted a 10 month old rescue pup, Charlie, when I was 7 years old. For the 12 years that I got to spend with him he was my best friend. Although he was stronger than me the first few years of his life, I was still involved in his training and feeding care until I was big enough to take him out and walk him. Once I could handle him, I took him out, walked him, and helped give baths. As an adult, I have done multiple pet-sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends. I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. My job experience includes retail, landscaping, and food/bar service. Working late nights in downtown Blacksburg, I have become keen at cleaning up messes of all kinds. This summer, my schedule is wide open! I play pool a couple of nights a week, but that doesn't last for more than a few hours and I can always go late/leave early to get back to the pets. When the school year starts, I will schedule pet sitting around my class schedule. I am equipped to handle dogs of almost any size on a leash, and I love to play fetch in a yard/at the park. I can keep food and water bowls clean and full, I can crate dogs if needed, and I can keep a litter box clean!

About: Over the past 16 years, I've cared for just about any animal you can imagine! A flying squirrel, a 15-foot python, dogs, cats, horses and more. I have my own pup of seven years and we absolutely love welcoming friends into our home. We live on a .4 acre lot in central Christiansburg and I have an incredibly flexible schedule so we're up for anything! Let me put your mind at ease as being away from your beloved pets is hard enough. I'll send multiple updates throughout the day and lots of pictures. Happy to care for any and all animals. I'm working full-time in ministry so I have lots of time throughout the day to care for your loved one and will be gone no more than a few hours per evening for bible studies and groups. I take my dog, Tonka, out 5-6 times per day minimum and we love to go on walks and be outdoors. I have a large field directly behind my home and live in a very pet-friendly area tucked off the main road so your pup will enjoy lots of safe and supervised outside time! I allow animals on the furniture and keep all choking hazards up high. My dog has a knack for finding even the smallest things to mess with so I have good practice with keeping a safe home.

About: I grew up with an Australian Shepherd, she was my best friend! Since then, I have been able to love two Mountain Feist dogs and then now have the following: a yellow lab (senior), beagle mix, shepherd mix, and a feist/bulldog mix (puppy). It’s a house full of love and dog hair! I have also helped care for family and friends' dogs when needed. There is nothing like the unconditional love you get from your four legged family member. I work as an independent contractor so my work hours vary. Typically I have some availability for drop in visits or walks Monday through Friday between 8:00am - 1:30pm. Our dogs are family. When I met my now husband, he had three dogs and I had one. Now that we are all under one roof, four legged family members actually outnumber the humans 4:3. We love some snuggles in this house (as evidenced in the photos) and our youngest pup keeps the others busy with her playfulness.

About: I have cared for my two 9-year old dogs since they were only a couple months old, so I’m comfortable with every stage from wild puppy energy to the slower, gentler needs of senior dogs. Over the years, I’ve handled sickness, medications, picky eating, and even giving IV fluids, so when it comes to pets who need more attention or special care, I am calm, confident, and capable. I also genuinely love getting outdoors and going on long walks, so active pets will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. My dogs mean the world to me, and I will 100% bring that same patient, loving, reliable energy to every pet I look after. You won't ever have to doubt that your animals will be treated with all the affection, consistency, and comfort they deserve. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I don’t work another job, so I’m fully available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. That means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pets all the attention, walks, and care they need. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m more than happy to spend the whole day with them. I’m fully available most days and can even do my online classes from your home so your pet has company, comfort, and consistency. I love taking dogs on long walks, keeping them active, and giving them plenty of attention throughout the day. I can also stay overnight if needed. I’m big on keeping each pet’s routine exactly the same. Same feeding schedule, same walk times, same habits they’re used to. I’m very detail‑oriented and great at following instructions, especially since I’ve handled everything from puppy care to senior needs, medications, picky eating, and even IV fluids with my own dogs. Your pet will get steady, loving care and feel completely safe with me.
