About: I have several years of experience with both dogs and cats. The largest dog I've handled was 120 lbs. I'm down to cuddle or go on a walk, whatever your pet needs. I am a college student so I am flexible daily and can come by your house when needed. I am free on weekends and most weeknights. I would love if you can give me specifics on your pet's routine and any behavior I should know about. I have some experience with oral medication if your pet ever needs it.

About: I've connected with dogs since I was a child, as well as rehabilitated rescues and trained puppies. Every dog is special to me, and I have cared for senior and special needs pups. My most beloved dog was a black German Shepherd that I trained when I was 13. Even still, my mom shakes her head at how I'm especially drawn to big dogs that look "scary." I can't wait to meet your baby! Need extra support in your morning or evening? I am available with plenty of love to share. My weekdays allow me to spend time with your floofs in the morning and late afternoon/evening. Your pups will have plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection with me! Safety in your home and for your dog is my top priority. I will spend time getting to know your dog, and will make sure they get everything they need as you see fit: water, food, petting, snacks, play with toys, movement/walking, you name it! I will respect your home and leave everything as I find it.

I recognize the stress that comes with trusting a stranger with your pets, and I am committed to providing comfort for both you and your pet. I’ve been taking care of animals since I can remember and have experience with numerous breeds and energy levels. I work from home Mon-Thurs until 3pm but can be available for a lunchtime walk. I’m available all day Fri-Sun. I’m familiar with the requirements of constant attention to pets. I’m on call 24/7 for my 2 year old German shepherd, Mellie. She’s a lovely, amazing high energy working dog with a hefty owner’s manual. I’m used to my schedule accommodating the highs and lows of pet care. I get how dogs can feel about a stranger in their home, and same for their owners. I’ll follow whatever house rules you’ve got, and respect your dog’s personal space. I’m working to fully understand dog body language & stress indicators, and how to adapt my own behavior appropriately. I don’t offer boarding services at my home - my dog isn’t dog-friendly. I don’t offer overnight housesitting either - I prefer not to leave my dog overnight unless I can find a sitter for her.

I live in a house with a large front yard and backyard, so your dog will be able to have their own space, as well as a space outside to play and run around to get out their energy.
