About: I am a lover of animals! As someone who travels as well I know how it can feel to leave your fur babies so it is important that there is communication and love for them while you are gone! My goal is to make you feel secure leaving for a day, a weekend or more and come back seamlessly! I am a teacher of 15 years however am taking a year off a using Rover as my go to! So I am available for early morning visits, mid afternoon and evening. My weekend availability varies due to my own traveling. Good news is summer will be wide open! Also prices are subject to adjustment based on mileage to per owner location. New clients to Rover ask me about my discount code! I have two super friendly and energetic dogs for those interested in dog boarding (I can take up to one dog at a time but unfortunately no cats 🐈). My pets are like my children so I am very protective and attentive to them. You will receive updates on all visits and photos!

About: I've had a 91 lb labradoodle from puppy to now for about 4 years. I've also been told that my cat adopted me about 1.5 years ago. My dog is a happy go lucky guy who's never met a person or animal he didn't like. My cat is about 15 years old and requires injectable medication twice a day, so nothing scares me when it comes to medication. I've taken care of the odd African Grey Parrot from time to time as well. I take my dog out every morning, lunch time and several times in the evening for walks and play. Our cat needs medicine twice a day that requires an injection so I'm well versed in providing medication and taking care of animals with special needs. There's a giant pop up blocking what this field is meant to say but it's saying I have to fill it in, perhaps I can update it later when the pop up is gone.

“Penny and Evan were great with our little “high anxiety” fur baby. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. We are thrilled to have found Penny and Even and the bonus is that they live about 4 minutes from our house! We have already booked the next daycare appointment!”

About: My own pets are my entire heart, I know how stressful it can be searching for someone to love your baby while you’re busy! I would like to add my pets DO stay with my family full time when I am with yours! I ensure that I will treat your pet with the best care of my ability, striving to make them as comfortable as my own. If I am scheduled for house sitting, I will be with your fur babies full time!! *Note, if I am scheduled for a check in or walk while I am house sitting for you, would be gone 5 hours or less. I WOULD be with your pet the entire night! I hope to leave your home better than when I arrive, as I hold great respect for people allowing me into their spaces and trusting me with their furry family. I am more than happy to take them on adventures or keep them snuggled up in the house. I do currently work Monday thru Friday 8-4 with quite a bit of flexibility. I have made my service area smaller so that I can stay close to my job and be able to tend to the needs of coming home on lunch, going in late, leaving early, or anything that I can do to make it work with your babies! I try to make sure to follow the routine they are used to so everyone feels as comfy as possible. I always require a meet before the time of me coming over so you get a good understanding of me as a person and I have no confusion on the best ways to take care of your babies.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. I have watched over friends, family and neighbors pets, including a blind diabetic dog who requires insulin shots twice a day. I have had Pitbulls, Great Danes, Mastiffs, a three legged cat, and everything in between under my care. I will treat your pets like they are my own. My pets sleep with me and on every piece of furniture I own. I have cared for pets with complex feeding/diet regimens and physical limitations and exercise requirements. No pet is too difficult or needy in my book. I understand that each animal is special and requires a unique tailored approach. I can assure you that I will take care of your animals just as they are my own and will try to be there for them just as you are there for them. I have also worked with dogs and cats that have separation anxiety and other phobias and or conditions and always do what I can to make the experience as stress-free as possible for any animal in my care. I can provide references upon request to help ease your mind that your pets will be in great hands! Pet care is my sole responsibility and job. It takes priority over anything else. I currently have a blind diabetic dog that has to be fed at 7am and 3:30pm and has to have insulin shots at 7:15am and 3:45pm everyday. Other than that I am available all day, every day to care for any pets under my responsibility. I have a fenced in yard with a porch that is half covered. I have two living areas separated by a permanent gate if any animals in my care need to be separated from other animals. I have a lockable dog door that can be completely locked, on a timer, or set to be wide open depending on what level of freedom you want your pets to have for accessing the yard and porch. My couch and bed are pet friendly. I have a cat tree and a room dedicated for cats. I have multiple beds and pet bed with washable covers that can be used by any pet in my care. I can customize a walking schedule for your pet and can come to your house and watch/walk your dog where they are most comfortable, at home. I have a pet friendly car and as long as your dog is friendly towards other animals I have no problem taking your dog to a park or dog park if that is something you and your dog would be interested in. I am very comfortable giving insulin shots to dogs and giving medicine to most pets, cats that have a hard time accepting medications are open for discussion. If your animals have special needs I am happy to try to accommodate. Please don't hesitate to ask. I will send you pictures and updates on your pets the entire time they are in my care. I have spent 20 years rescuing, loving and caring for not only my own beloved pets, but for friends and neighbors as well. I also have fosters or rescues stay for a bit from time to time. I will provide everything necessary to ensure your fur baby is safe, well cared for and loved during their time with me. I offer your pet individual attention and treatment similar to what they receive with you so they feel safe, happy and comfortable. If you allow, they can sleep in the bed, on the couch, on the floor or in a kennel if thats what they are accustomed to. They can be fed on a schedule or food can be left down. They get plenty of petting, snuggles and play time while with me. We may play fetch, play with toys, go for a walk, chew bones and enjoy treats periodically. I try to keep the routine as close to yours as possible. Not something a kennel can provide. I am self employed and work from a laptop, so my schedule is extremely flexible to accommodate your needs. Just let me know what your needs are. I offer boarding in my home as well as drop in and overnight stays in yours to make things as easy as possible for you.
