“Best dog sitter EVER!!! Rebecca started sending photos of LuLu within minutes of us dropping her off, and she continued sending pictures during the entire pet sit. We could see that LuLu was being well cared for and was getting loads of attention. I don't think Rebecca was able to get anything done for herself because she devoted so much time to LuLu! LuLu gets separation anxiety, but I don't have to worry about that now that I've found Rebecca. LuLu gets to have a vacation at Auntie Rebecca's place while we are having our vacation. We all have fun! Rebecca is responsible and attentive to every detail. She lives in a safe neighborhood and has a fully fenced yard. She never leaves LuLu unattended in the yard, and they spend hours outside every day. She spoiled her with attention, not food, which is important to me. I can't recommend Rebecca highly enough! About: I've had a 91 lb labradoodle from puppy to now for about 4 years. I've also been told that my cat adopted me about 1.5 years ago. My dog is a happy go lucky guy who's never met a person or animal he didn't like. My cat is about 15 years old and requires injectable medication twice a day, so nothing scares me when it comes to medication. I've taken care of the odd African Grey Parrot from time to time as well. I take my dog out every morning, lunch time and several times in the evening for walks and play. Our cat needs medicine twice a day that requires an injection so I'm well versed in providing medication and taking care of animals with special needs. I have a pet friendly car and as long as your dog is friendly towards other animals I have no problem taking your dog to a park or dog park if that is something you and your dog would be interested in. I am very comfortable giving insulin shots to dogs and giving medicine to most pets, cats that have a hard time accepting medications are open for discussion. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. We are thrilled to have found Penny and Even and the bonus is that they live about 4 minutes from our house! We have already booked the next daycare appointment!”

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. This beginning with family members or neighbors, and eventually turning into one of my favorite hobbies, voulenteering for local animal shelters. I have experience with large dogs and small dogs, and with my time spent volunteering and also with my families own rescue animals, I believe I am a great fit for any dog. My family has a hard time leaving home to travel due to our rescues being not only very bonded to their owner, but perculiar on who they will spend time with. About: Hi All, I've grown up with pet cats my whole life, and would take care of neighborhood pets all throughout middle school through to college. Including watching neighborhood cats and walking dogs. Would love to spend time with your pet and make sure they are safe and loved while you are out of town, or check in during the work day. I'm new to pet sitting through an official site, but have lots of experience caring through pets through word of mouth, neighbors, and friends. Both my childhood cat, and my current cat have needed meds, so I have experience administering medications. We also have a 10-month old puppy. I'm used to walking him downtown, and working on training at home together. Small story for reference - I took care of one super shy kitty for a neighbor. The owner said it was okay if I never actually saw them since they are shy. After a couple days the kitty started coming out of hiding and hanging out with me :) Their owner said their cat had never come out for anyone else before. I WFH and have a flexible schedule. Can do drop-ins anytime during the day. I'm also available for dog walks if close to my apartment. Here for cat sitting and small animals! Can't take animals in my own home because I have an elderly cat, but happy to do drop-in visits to hang out with your pet while you're away!

About: I’ve been taking care of my own dogs for 15+ years, along with a variety of exotic animals including birds, snakes, rats, fish and many more. I have been walking and feeding and watching dogs, cats, horses and farm animals for 10 years. I love animals, I always have and while I work full time, I self schedule and can be flexible. I don’t typically travel for holidays so I am around locally on most holidays, and can fit your beloved pet into my schedule so you can feel at ease while you are away from them. I can do whatever you need me to do in your house. I have lots of experience with puppies and elderly dogs (and those in between), cats and kittens, and lots of exotic animals. I am good at following directions and can accommodate whatever you need in your space. I also have lots of experience tiring out super energetic pups on long hikes or walks if you need! I love the outdoors and having dogs with me just makes it better! I look forward to meeting you and your precious pets! I work Monday-Wednesdays in Roanoke and my weekends are variable- I try to keep my calendar up to date. If I have events on the weekends (I’m a musician) they are typically local, and I will block out my calendar for tours. I have flexible scheduling during the day in Roanoke, and can work around your schedule even if you’re not in Roanoke. My work is accommodating and partially work from home. I like to provide my clients with updates on their pets while they are away with pictures and descriptions of anything out of the ordinary they may need to know about, and also just cute shenanigans your critters are up to each day. I don’t offer overnight housesitting either - I prefer not to leave my dog overnight unless I can find a sitter for her.

About: Hello fellow animal lovers! I'm here for all of your animal care needs! A little bit about me... I'm a mother to a 10 year old little boy, 1.5 year old French bulldog, 5 year old pug, 2 year old hound mix, 1 year old boxer, 3 kitty cats and a ball python. I have had chickens, ducks, and a couple of goats in the past and am comfortable with just about any critter. I am currently employed part time at a Veterinary clinic in Salem. I have also worked 5+ years at a boarding/grooming facility for dogs and cats. I am comfortable giving medications and bathing if needed. I've always loved any opportunity to work with animals and pet sitting and dog walking are a great opportunity for me to have a flexible schedule for my son and still make a living doing what I love. “Emily took absolute EXCELLENT CARE of our sweet pup! We were very nervous to leave our new puppy while out of town, but after reading Emily's reviews, we thought it may be okay. Emily was so kind to have us over for a puppy play date so we would feel comfortable with our pup staying there for a week. Immediately, our dog felt right at home! It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands while we were away. Her fenced in yard is perfect for lots of outdoor play, and her home is set up ideally for caring for dogs.
