“Rocky loved his 3 night stay here! Richard and Kelly were quick to respond and I felt comfortable leaving Rocky here. They took him on walks through the woods every day which I know he loved! I would likely only recommend them to people who have outdoor dogs, or dogs that don't mind noise/dogs barking. Rocky is an outside dog so I am certain had no issues sleeping outside or listening to the other dogs bark in the kennels all day. I don't think a dog that is used to being indoors and a in a single dog house would love it here like Rocky did!”

She provided over the top service feeding my pups eggs when they wouldn’t eat their food and providing a fan for when they came back inside from running around. About: I worked for a pet walking company doing a little bit of everything. I have walked dogs (sometimes multiples) and done many drop in visits for potty breaks and play times and feedings. I have an extremely flexible and open schedule due to being a stay at home mom the last few years. I would be available for drop in services at most times. I’ve learned that owners will have their own rules and that is what would be followed at the clients house. This could be a list of things to have done in a set amount of time or rules on feeding, playing, etc. In my own home you can expect your pets to be spoiled! We let pets on furniture, have unlimited play time and we have a few friends for them here.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Penny and Evan. I had a last-minute, same-day request for someone to watch my two dogs, Bella and Milo. Bella has severe anxiety (just like her mama) and takes medication three times a day, so leaving her is never easy for me. When I came across Penny and Evan’s profile and saw their picture, I immediately felt at peace. I just knew these were the people I wanted caring for my babies. They accepted my request quickly, and within a few hours I was able to bring Bella and Milo to their home. From the moment we arrived, Penny was warm, kind, and incredibly welcoming. She immediately took us to the backyard so the dogs could sniff and explore. She thoughtfully explained their setup, including a separate area in case bigger dogs were present, which gave me even more confidence in their safety and comfort. Inside, she allowed Bella and Milo to explore freely and get comfortable. She carefully gathered all of my information, emergency contacts, medication instructions, and even provided her personal number. She made sure she had mine as well. That level of thoroughness meant so much to me. When I left, I truly had zero worries. That says everything. Even though I was only gone one night, I received multiple updates, pictures, and even a video. I could see my dogs were relaxed and felt safe — which is especially important for my anxious Bella girl. Seeing her calm brought me more relief than I can explain. When I picked them up, they greeted me with all the kisses I could possibly dream of. Milo even turned back as if he wanted to say goodbye to Penny, which told me everything I needed to know. They were content on the ride home — either completely relaxed or happily worn out from their wonderful adventure! Because of Bella’s anxiety, I have often avoided traveling or visiting family. We’ve tried multiple medications and behavioral treatments over the years. Finding Penny and Evan feels like such a blessing. They reassured me that my babies were happy and that they look forward to seeing them again — and I truly believe it. If you are looking for someone who will treat your pets like their own, communicate clearly, and give you complete peace of mind, look no further. Penny and Evan are absolute gems. We will absolutely be back.”

About: I have a fenced in yard and am at home to take care of your pet overnight I would prefer small to medium six dogs. I love all kinds of dogs puppy to seniors. I have a large crate if your dog likes that and a five foot fenced in yard in my backyard for your dog to run and play I have no animals in my home Boarding on weekends Would be at home to treat your pet like it is my own large yard crate if needed would provide play time I have no pets in my home I would provide play time And anything you require for your pet. I can board overnight Saturday to Sunday all day

“I could not recommend Ms. Pamela enough! She was able to take care of our maltipoo on very short notice on our drive from NY to GA. We discovered Hotel Roanoke does not allow dogs, so we last minute had to find a pet sitter in the area. It is difficult leaving your dog with new people, but Ms. Pamela made the process seamless by being responsive, good at communication, warm, and friendly. Ginger came back clearly well cared for and we got several status pictures throughout the stay. Ms. Pamela has a heart for dogs, and we are so appreciative of her care.”

We have had 3 dogs growing up: 2 boxers and a great dane; and now i have 2 spoiled rotten golden retrievers and a great dane who passed away in March of 2026. I have experience in giving oral meds by hand, and adding meds onto food etc. I have a picky eater, so if you have a picky eater and need someone who can manage, i am your girl! I only ask that you are honest with me when it comes to the needs your pet has and the needs you as an individual expect. About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me for most of my life, from growing-up on a farm in Maryland to working large animal husbandry at the Virginia Tech Veterinary School to sharing a 1-bedroom studio with two cats in Roanoke City, and I’ve always loved all animals. All! Right now, I have one dog and three cats of my own, and they are very much part of my family. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. I enjoy walks, playtime, and just hanging out with them and giving them attention. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets when you’re away, and I’ll care for yours just like I care for my own. I’m currently in the process of my Pet-CPR/First Aid certification. I’m working a flexible schedule (as a Referee). When I’m at work, Nalini (my wife), will be there at home with your pet. So, your pet would never be there alone day or night. The most respect, care, compassion, and hugs!! There’s separate pet living spaces in my house for accommodating your pets needs, and we have a friendly and vaccinated dog.

About: I have been dog sitting since my freshman year of high school to raise money for a school trip to Costa Rica that I attended in 2023. I am currently available anytime of the week. I am willing to stay overnight if needed. Or even stopping by to walk/let out the pets. I would rather not do it in my home just because I do not have a fenced in yard and I have three other dogs in my home.
