About: Animals have always been a central part of my life. As a pet owner myself, I understand that our pets are family members, not just animals. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have more than 15 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats, including owning and operating a nonprofit animal rescue for five years. Through my rescue work, I cared for hundreds of dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including puppies, seniors, special-needs pets, and dogs recovering from illness or surgery. I am experienced with administering medications, monitoring health concerns, and recognizing when a pet may need extra attention or veterinary care. I know that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I will care for them as if they were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive care and accommodate a variety of pet care needs. Because I spend a significant amount of time at home, your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and potty breaks throughout the day. I understand the importance of maintaining routines and will work with you to ensure your pet’s schedule, feeding times, medications, and preferences are followed closely. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quieter environment, I can provide the level of care and attention they need. Safety is always my top priority. My experience running an animal rescue taught me how to properly introduce dogs, recognize signs of stress, manage different personalities, and provide a safe environment for pets with varying needs. “Love love love love!!!! Kaylyn was so flexible with us while I was relocating from the east coast to the west coast. There were many hiccups and she rolled with everything so kindly. We arrived around 8:30 pm at night which isn't an ideal hour to meet a stranger and their dog. Duma has separation anxiety and they loved on him, took him on 3 walks a day, and gave him treats… needless to say, Duma was in heaven and was no longer worried about where I went. We do like daily check in's with pics of Remo’s interactions with other dogs but I admit I did fail to mention that to Alliyah. It was fine, my dog was fine and was well taken care of, but I'd mention it to anyone booking a long trip, just so you know to set expectations upfront. Everything else was great and I would absolutely book again with Alliyah.
Eleni and her family were amazing!! I left Louis with them for a month and then another week. He came back very happy and was happy to see them when I dropped him off a second time. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times. I know I can trust Eleni to watch Louis whenever needed!
