Hi! I am an aspiring K9 handler and trainer, but currently work as an ecologist for Virginia Tech. I grew up with all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to ducks and chameleons, and have worked in both veterinary and rescue settings as an adult. Before my current job as an ecologist, I was a Care Specialist at a no-kill animal shelter for 4 years, where I became especially skilled at connecting with the more fearful or ‘difficult’ pets. I am now a mom to two mischievous boy cats and plan to bring a dog into the family soon. With how much I love my animals personally, I know how important it is for pet-owners to feel like their beloved family member is in great hands when away. I am willing to commute to you for any services, as well as stay overnight if necessary. I have experience with all kinds of animals and have a knack for fearful or reactive animals. I am unfortunately not able to host your animals in my own home due to my own pets.

10 stars if I could! Taylor was absolutely wonderful with our 4 dogs! She sent lots of pics and communicated very well. I am a worry wort about my babies and she really allowed me to relax while away knowing our babies were being taken such great care of. Highly recommend Taylor!!

Schedule
I travel often for my job and will highlight those dates on my calendar, but the weeks I am in town, as well as weekends, are very open! feel free to message me for any drop-ins or pet sitting requests!
