About: I first started watching pets when I was about 8 years old with our first house cat. Since then, I have watched all kinds of animals such as dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, and fish. I have watched a variety of dogs, from young to old. I have experience with elder dogs and cats, as I had to watch over my sister’s elder dog and give her the medicine she needed. I have also watched young dogs and cats and have experience of how to care for them and give them the attention they need. All of high school, I volunteered at an animal shelter for cats, where I would spend my days caring for and spending time with kittens and cats of all ages and behaviors. I have lots of experience with all ages of animals and love spending my time making sure the fur babies are happy and comfortable! I‘m currently a college student with a very light class schedule. I am fully available and able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, any day of the week! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow all instructions exactly as provided, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special care needs. I make sure doors are securely locked, gates are closed, and the home stays safe and tidy while you’re away. I’m respectful of your space and treat your home with the same care I would my own. I always keep a close eye on the pets I’m watching, give regular check-ins and updates, and make sure they feel calm, comfortable, and well-loved in their familiar environment. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pets, and your home, are in reliable hands.
About: I've been Blacksburg resident since 2008. I'm a father, and realtor. My wife and I are proud pet parents to two Shih Tzu pups. Because we travel often ourselves, I truly understand how important it is to have kind, dependable, and professional care for your pets when you’re away. Caring for clients, homes, and details is in my DNA. As a realtor, trust, communication, and reliability aren’t optional, they’re the foundation of what I do every day. I bring that same mindset to caring for your pets and your home. I’m also an avid marathon runner with a flexible schedule, which means I can often accommodate last-minute walk requests. Your fur baby won't just geet a quick potty break, they’ll get a safe, energetic, and engaging walk tailored to their pace and personality. Whether you need walks, drop-ins, or dependable care while you’re away, you can count on someone who treats your pets like family and your home with respect. I am a local realtor and taking care of clients and their homes is in my DNA. I have a pretty flexible schedule to do drop-ins, walks, and more throughout the day. I often travel and need help taking care of my two pups so I want to provide the same services to folks who are needing help. I am a proud homeowner and pet owner. I will treat your home and pets with the utmost respect, care, and attention they deserve. I'm an avid marathon runner and your pup will get plenty of walking in when Steven is the Rover!
“Camille was fabulous with my Winston! He walked right off with her and was so comfortable walking with Camille. She took great care of my baby and was very responsible. I'll definitely be using her for future needs.”

“Caroline was amazing! She took such great care of my dog George and went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and comfortable. I especially appreciated the adorable pictures and updates—such a thoughtful touch that made me feel at ease. You can tell she truly cares about the dogs she walks. I also really appreciated her flexibility and willingness to help out last minute. Highly recommend Caroline to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and professional dog walker. Thank you again!”

About: I am a big believer that humans need dogs as much as dogs need humans and I would love to be that human for your dog! I am currently a student at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine earning a Masters degree in Biomedical science. I have classes during the week from 8-12, but spend every minute after class home in my apartment with the exception of an hour break to go to the gym. On the weekends i am often studying, so I will be home at all times. I have a small one bedroom apartment that has plenty of room for a dog to have free range. I allow dogs on the furniture and bed so that is no issue. There is plenty of room for a crate, which i would prefer if I am leaving the dog alone while I am at class. There is an excellent 2 mile walking trail around my complex that I do daily and would love to take your dog as my companion!

About: Hello everyone, I’m Ellie! I graduated from the University of Virginia in the Spring of 2025 and am currently in my first year of veterinary school at VMCVM here in Blacksburg. I am a vet assistant at a local animal hospital in my hometown where I also have two dogs. I’ve had dogs my whole life and taken care of many cats before, and would love to get to know yours! I am a lover of animals big and small (dogs, cats, horses, you name it) and will provide your dog or cat with all the attention they deserve. About: I've been around animals as long as I can remember, looking after neighbors' dogs and cats. I've cared for pets with a variety of needs including reactive dogs, senior dogs, special diets, and diabetic pets requiring insulin. I also have experience with young puppies and obedience as well as some agility training. During my gap year (2024-2025), I volunteered at three international wildlife centers and a street dog rescue sanctuary in Sri Lanka where I helped administer medicine and take care of dogs in the clinic. At that sanctuary, there were nearly 2,500 dogs in total, with about 500 of them having severe disabilities. I have a strong passion for life in all forms, especially our furry friends who share our homes. I am a freshman at VT, so I will need to work around my classes to take care of your pet! Ruth was absolutely fantastic! I was on light duty for a while and needed someone I could really trust to help exercise my Border Collie, Loki — and she turned out to be the perfect fit. Loki’s a high-energy dog who needs plenty of walks and attention, and Ruth handled him with total confidence and care. Even when I made a few mistakes in communication, she stayed patient, understanding, and professional the entire time. She kept me updated with messages and pictures, and it was clear from the start that she has a genuine passion for animals. Loki instantly loved her, which says a lot because he’s not always quick to warm up to new people. It’s rare to find someone this reliable and caring, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be booking with Ruth again in the future. THANK YOU, RUTH!!!

Matthew does twice-weekly walks with my 3-year-old beagle mix, Annie. She is only about 35 lbs but can be challenging on a leash walk due to puppy energy and excitement at people and other dogs. Matthew is wonderful with her! He's very intuitive with animals and brings a great mix of playful and calming energy. He's very reliable. We are so happy to have found him!
