About: I first started watching pets when I was about 8 years old with our first house cat. Since then, I have watched all kinds of animals such as dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, and fish. I have watched a variety of dogs, from young to old. I have experience with elder dogs and cats, as I had to watch over my sister’s elder dog and give her the medicine she needed. I have also watched young dogs and cats and have experience of how to care for them and give them the attention they need. All of high school, I volunteered at an animal shelter for cats, where I would spend my days caring for and spending time with kittens and cats of all ages and behaviors. I have lots of experience with all ages of animals and love spending my time making sure the fur babies are happy and comfortable! I‘m currently a college student with a very light class schedule. I am fully available and able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, any day of the week! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow all instructions exactly as provided, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special care needs. I make sure doors are securely locked, gates are closed, and the home stays safe and tidy while you’re away. I’m respectful of your space and treat your home with the same care I would my own. I always keep a close eye on the pets I’m watching, give regular check-ins and updates, and make sure they feel calm, comfortable, and well-loved in their familiar environment. About: I am a big believer that humans need dogs as much as dogs need humans and I would love to be that human for your dog! I am currently a student at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine earning a Masters degree in Biomedical science. I have classes during the week from 8-12, but spend every minute after class home in my apartment with the exception of an hour break to go to the gym. On the weekends i am often studying, so I will be home at all times. I have a small one bedroom apartment that has plenty of room for a dog to have free range. I allow dogs on the furniture and bed so that is no issue. There is plenty of room for a crate, which i would prefer if I am leaving the dog alone while I am at class. There is an excellent 2 mile walking trail around my complex that I do daily and would love to take your dog as my companion!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10, so over 10 years of experience. I also have a Great Dane and two cats at home. I am currently a student at Virginia Tech, and have classes every afternoon for a couple hours, but that’s all. I am available on weekends and a lot in the morning. I am comfortable feeding, walking, playing, or just checking on your pets! I also have experience with younger dogs that need more energy and older dogs that need extra care.

About: I, myself, own a senior dog and look after her well. I dog sit for family and friends when need be. I have also shadowed at a Veterinary office and work at one as well. I’m a college student at Virginia Tech, and I have breaks in between my classes that give me plenty of time to care for pets. My schedule is flexible, so I can stop in for walks, drop in visits, or just spend some quality time with your pets during the day. I make sure that they get used to me first before jumping into caring for them. I allow them to realize I am trustworthy and here to feed them and love them.

About: I have over 500 hours of dog watching and raising experience (outside of my own pets) and spent over 800 hours volunteering cat care for kittens and disabled kitties I am a grad student with a totally flexible schedule and can work from home easily if needed! About: Hello everyone, I’m Ellie! I graduated from the University of Virginia in the Spring of 2025 and am currently in my first year of veterinary school at VMCVM here in Blacksburg. I am a vet assistant at a local animal hospital in my hometown where I also have two dogs. I’ve had dogs my whole life and taken care of many cats before, and would love to get to know yours! I am a lover of animals big and small (dogs, cats, horses, you name it) and will provide your dog or cat with all the attention they deserve. I am a runner as well, so if your dog is of the athletic variety I would be happy to go for a dog jog :) Due to being a student, my weekly availability varies widely. Please contact me with any inquiries, and I will do my best to work whatever you need into my schedule. I am flexible depending on whatever you need in your home! Unfortunately I cannot take dogs in my home, but I am more than willing to stop by a few times a day for your fur baby🐶

About: I've been around animals as long as I can remember, looking after neighbors' dogs and cats. I've cared for pets with a variety of needs including reactive dogs, senior dogs, special diets, and diabetic pets requiring insulin. I also have experience with young puppies and obedience as well as some agility training. During my gap year (2024-2025), I volunteered at three international wildlife centers and a street dog rescue sanctuary in Sri Lanka where I helped administer medicine and take care of dogs in the clinic. At that sanctuary, there were nearly 2,500 dogs in total, with about 500 of them having severe disabilities. I have a strong passion for life in all forms, especially our furry friends who share our homes. I am a freshman at VT, so I will need to work around my classes to take care of your pet! I am pretty flexible, and many of my classes are offered online, so we can communicate about that! , so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your pet! I'm available for drop-ins multiple times per day, and house sitting overnight if you desire. I will follow any special instructions you give me, whether it's specific feeding guidelines, medications to administer or plants to water in your home while you're away!

About: I've been a cat owner my whole life but over the last 5 years I have become an avid dog sitter and owner! I spent my sophomore year of college living with two puppies, a chow and a Pitbull, and I have learned all the ins and outs of taking care of dog's, and even puppies! I am a frequent sitter to a bull dog and a lab as well! All in all I have had experience taking care of a diverse range of breeds with a wide variety of traits such as, hyper, loving, independent, or dependent; I am prepared for whatever comes my way! I have also been a loving cat owner for 17 years, and know all there is about cats and how to take care of your lovely kitties :) I work remote and I have an open schedule to care of my pets as well as your pets as needed and on a short notice! I ensure I know all the needs of any pets under my care to make sure the experience is comfortable and safe for your baby and myself. I put the needs of our furry friends before my own at all costs :)

About: I've always been surrounded by animals, and have been taking care of a variety of pets my entire life! I can take care of any age pet, and have experience with medications, bathing, walking, etc. I currently am attending Virginia Tech and am available almost always during the weekday evenings! I strive to provide the best care for your pet! I’m available MW after 5pm, TTH 10-2, or after 7pm, and weekends are very flexible!! When taking care of your pet I will follow any directions provided, and will make sure both your home and pet stay clean and cared for! I also love sending updates and pictures to make sure you know your pet is getting the best care!

About: Throughout high school and college I was constantly taking care of and watching dogs for many different families and have had dogs of my own throughout my life. I have very flexible work hours and am able to adjust based on the care you need for your dogs, almost all days there is room for flexibility! I do not have the ability to care for your pets at my own home, but at your home I will make sure they get the exercise and attention they need whether it’s properly being watched in the yard or taken on walks and loving them well inside the home while respecting your home and looking after it as well.

About: I’ve been around and taking care of dogs since I was 7. I grew up training all of our puppies and continuing to love them now at their old age. I’m comfortable with cats and dogs of large/medium to small. I’m currently a full time college student. Available to sit weekdays and weekends. As well as walks during the day.
