Allison A.

“Allison was great and followed all instructions and kept us updated all weekend we were gone. She made it easy to be away from our furry family. We will be using her again.”

Natasha W.
“I know my dog is in great hands with Natasha. She goes above and beyond to make sure my dogs needs are met, plus lots of playtime and attention. Before pet sitting over the weekend, Natasha took the time to come over and meet my dog and learned some of our commands to reinforce training while I was away. Not only is she an excellent pet sitter, she is a knowledgeable veterinary student. I trust that she could recognize a health issue and take the necessary steps to get my dog help if needed. This gives me a peace of mind when I'm away, especially since my dog eats everything in sight. I highly recommend Natasha as a responsible and caring pet sitter.”

Alicia P.

“Alicia was a great companion for our very active 7 mo old kitten. We knew all was well when she reported he slept with her! Very sweet cat, but demanding of attention and play. Alicia provided all that!”

Kayla E.

“Kayla was wonderful with our dog, Lyla! We received pictures and updates all weekend, and Lyla was tired and happy when we came home. It was great to relax on vacation and know our pup was in great hands!”

Samantha D.

“Samantha really went above and beyond for us and our cats. Thank you so much for helping us out of a jamb, Sam!”

Arwen K.

“Arwen could not have been sweeter. She kept our very anxious dog company while we were gone for the day. She sent pictures and reassured us that he was doing great. I would 100% recommend Arwen in a heartbeat!”

Erin S.

“Erin was wonderful! She communicated throughout the stay and sent many updates and pictures. She asked good questions and followed all of the instructions we left to the letter. I highly recommend her! Thank you so much, Erin!”

Jason S.
“I would happily have Jason take care of my cat whenever I am out of town. My cat, Hyperion, is super needy and anxious, and Jason always goes the extra mile to make sure that he receives the care he needs. He is responsive, attentive, and communicative with me. I can rest easy knowing that Hyperion will be well cared for by the time I'm back home.”

olivia q.

“Olivia did an amazing job watching my two cats! She was very responsive and personable, kept me updated, sent pictures, and even was able to get my kitten (who is very scared of new people) to come out from hiding and eat/play with her. I’ll definitely use Olivia again :)”

Jocelyn P.

“Jocelyn was an amazing sitter for my girls! She provided regular communication (not too much, not too little) and was very responsive to all my messages. She instantly bonded with my sweet girls and seemed to genuinely enjoy being around them - it wasn't just a job to her, but an enjoyable experience. I hired her for in-home sitting and she kept my place exactly the way I left it - she is very tidy! I will certainly book with her again. Thanks, Jocelyn!”

About: I grew up with two dogs all my life, I worked at Petco for a few years, I am super active and am patient with animals. I am a graduate student taking 4 classes and am off Thursday-Sunday. I volunteer at the animal shelter and put in multiple hours a week. I always have eyes on the animal. There will not be a time the dog will go unsupervised. I have been dog certified with harnesses and leashes.

Gabriella H.
About: Hi! I'm Gabby and graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2022. I have worked with pets for most of my life and even have a cockapoo myself! I have worked as a pet-sitter since I was in high school for families with cats and dogs of all sizes. For almost all of my pet-sitting jobs, I have done household chores as well (taking out the trash, bringing in the mail, watering plants, etc)! My skills include cleaning, bathing, feeding, walking/running, loving, and even housework. I can handle dogs of all sizes but mainly prefer medium to smaller dogs. I am open to taking your pet on a walk or staying over to play. I will make sure your pet receives all the love and attention he/she needs to feel special and cared for. I work part time so I can come by and give your dog some love on my days off! I have a flexible schedule so all of your dogs needs will be met. I make sure that I am respectful of other peoples places and clean up after myself. I abide to all boundaries that owners may have whether that may be restricting locations that their pets can be or wiping the dogs feet before coming inside.

Alyssa T.
“Alyssa has always loved animals. Even when she was little, she showed care and concern for lost or injured animals in our neighborhood. She wanted to adopt them all! Her love of animals motivated her to work at a local animal hospital when she was in high school and throughout college. She has received specialized training to help manage behaviors and she is also able to administer medications. Our dog always looks forward to her visits because he knows he will get extra walks and cuddles.”

Caroline O.

“Caroline was a great sitter! She kept us updated on our dog Doodlebug throughout our trip and gave us peace of mind that our dog was safe and happy. We hope to have her pet sit again in the future!”

Victoria D.
About: Hi! My names Victoria, and I’m a certified veterinary assistant currently in undergrad on a pre-vet track! I’ve had pets my entire life, and currently have five of my own (four rescue cats and a dog) and I’ve always had a passion for providing them with the best care possible. I earned my veterinary assistant certification through Blue Ridge Community College where I took courses on introductory veterinary science, animal anatomy and physiology, as well as behavior. I then worked at a small, local veterinary clinic as an assistant and kennel attendant for a year, as well as again for three months during my first semester at Virginia Tech. I then worked at a third, much larger clinic during my second semester. I’m experienced in administering oral medications, basic dog training, special needs dog care, reactive and hyperactive dog and puppy care, dog walking and bathing, pet sitting, nail trims and more! I’m so excited to meet you and your pets! I show up prepared and ready to provide your pets with the best care, and will be happy to accommodate your pet in any way needed. For walking, I will always have a slip lead for emergencies, as well as pet-parent approved treats. I carry a fanny pack with all of the dog walking and care essentials! This pack double as the in clinic pack I use at work, so I’ll be able to help in urgent situations. I’m currently working at a local veterinary clinic, and will communicate my schedule with you prior to booking confirmation to ensure that your pets needs can be met on a schedule that works for both of us! Each animal is different, and it’s very important to me that your pet is comfortable during the duration of my care for them. I’m familiar with animal body language across many species, and will respect your pets boundaries to ensure their comfort and safety. If you know of any fears or dislikes your pet has, please let me know beforehand so I can provide the best care possible tailored to your pet!

Nyla G.

“Nyla watched my dog reactive German shepherd over the weekend. She took the time to ask me how to best handle certain situations and made me feel so comfortable leaving Karma with her. Karma is not always the easiest and Nyla was able to handle everything, sending me updates and photos. Karma got lots of good walks in and I knew she was in great hands. I am so grateful to have found Nyla and could not recommend her enough!”

Brett C.

“Brett was great with our older pup who requires some extra care like gentle walks and medication. I so appreciate the affection he showed to our dog!”

Miriam O.
“Miriam is exceptionally responsible and patient when it comes to dogs. I have used her over a dozen times to watch my coonhounds, one of whom doesn’t warm up to people immediately. She spends time getting to know the dog and owner, aiming to understand both needs. Would highly recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter for just a few hours or days at a time.”

Rachel E.

“Rachel took great care of my girl, Evie, while I was out of the country recently. She regularly sent me updates and photos so I always knew Evie was well taken care of. She was also very flexible and enormously helpful when my flights were delayed on my way home, which made an incredibly stressful situation a lot easier to deal with. I will definitely book with her again next time I need a reliable dogsitter!”

Courtney C.
About: I’ve taken care of various dog breeds, guinea pigs, and cats for neighbors back at home for many years. I've house sat, done drop in walking, and even just played with the animals for multiple families. When I’m home from school, I’m working part time so I can be available most days and hours! My work schedule is also fairly flexible! At my own house back home, we have both an electric fence and wood fence. In previous pet sitting I typically utilize the fences in the backyards, or take the dog for walks. In Blacksburg, I do not have an area for animals in my current home, but instead use the amazing walking trails nearby!!
