About: I lived around both dogs and cats my whole life, with both family and roommates, and I absolutely love it. While I'm not in the position to have my own furry friend at the moment, I love to care for animals. I spent about a year (2025) volunteering with the MCACAC shelter cats and dogs in Christiansburg, including participating in their training courses, and now feel confident bringing that experience to work with pets that already have found their families as well. I'm currently job hunting, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I am available throughout the day. I am occasionally out of town for travel or job-search related activities. My apartment is is pet-free, so I cannot host pets at this time. As far as working with pets in your home, please let me know your house rules. I generally use whatever items the pet uses at home (leash, treats, etc) for the sake of consistency for the pet and pet parent.

About: I have grown up taking care of many dogs, horses and cats. I will treat every pet as it it were my own. I work full time but over the past few years have been a successful part time dog walker. I am comfortable with medication management and animals of all ages. I am available on the weekends for walking, drop ins and boarding. I am available most evenings for walks and drop ins. During the work week my schedule may vary. I have a large fence in backyard. I can easily crate your dog or keep in his or her own room. Same goes for cats - if boarding they can stay in their own room. I am used to caring for multiple animals at a time and keeping them separate and safe.

About: I have cared for pets of all ages over the years and adopted a pup of my own about two years ago. He’s up to date on all vaccinations and loves other dogs. I have experience with giving medications to animals, caring for both puppies and older pups, and my apartment is hardwood floors so accidents aren’t a problem! I am a graduate assistant and in grad school. This means that I word pretty weird hours and I do a lot of work remotely. I’m home anywhere between 8 hours to 24 hours a day and can rearrange my schedule depending on the needs of the animal. There is a dog park nearby and it’s a safe area. For my pup, and pups I’ve boarded/cared for before, I traditionally feed them in the AM and give them plenty of water. We go to the dog park to start the day and get the energy out. I make sure to leave dog-safe toys on the floor so they know they have stuff to play with and I dog proof the apartment before I leave each time so they don’t get into things they shouldn’t. We go out later in the day to the dog park again to socialize or get the zoomies going. We go back and have a little more food or a snack and then hang out before going out on a walk to end the day. I'm working full-time in ministry so I have lots of time throughout the day to care for your loved one and will be gone no more than a few hours per evening for bible studies and groups. I take my dog, Tonka, out 5-6 times per day minimum and we love to go on walks and be outdoors. I have a large field directly behind my apartment and live in a very pet-friendly area tucked off the main road so your pup will enjoy lots of safe and supervised outside time! I allow animals on the furniture and keep all choking hazards up high. My dog has a knack for finding even the smallest things to mess with so I have good practice with keeping a safe home.

About: I’ve had and been around pets my whole life and have experience with animals of all sizes. I have house-sat, dog walked, and done routine checking on pets for multiple years for friends and family. I also volunteer at the animal shelter to help animals in need I’m currently working part time and only work a few days a week so I am available almost all the time to check in and help out with animals. My long shifts also contain breaks so I can interact with animals throughout the day even while working. I know how to handle all kinds of pets in all kinds of sizes and I care for each animal as if it were my own. The safety and health of your animal is my top priority while they are under my care.

About: I have taken care of animals most of my life, and have had anything from dogs and cats, to chickens and ducks, snakes, goats, llamas, etc. I have successfully trained dogs in basic behavioral skills and administered medication of various forms to all my animals. I also have confidence with even the largest of breeds, having owned a cane corso, among others. I have experience leash training as well as acclimating dogs with new animals and curbing unwanted behavior. I work full- time, but can work with you, especially if I can plan ahead by a week or more. I do occasionally leave town, but again, can generally adjust my schedule accordingly. I prefer to allow animals freedom to roam around if possible, but understand animals have different needs. All walks are leashed, no exceptions unless you have a fully fenced and secure yard you prefer your pet to run around.

About: I helped raise and train my childhood dogs, a bulldog and a German shepherd, and am currently the owner of two lovely cats, George, who is 4 years old, and Frank, who is 2 years old! I love animals and have pet-sat for dogs, cats, and even a parrot! I have a part time job during the summer, so I will be free for most of the day and during the night to care for all kinds of animals! I offer services in other peoples homes. About: Ever since I was born I had an animal right by my side . I have learned to take care of animals and provide for them. I have taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets in the past. I also have worked at a dog daycare called tail chasers so I have experience with big dog groups. I’m good with cats as well . I’m experienced with walking multiple dogs at a time because I got 3 myself. I’m currently working 3:30 am to 12:00 pm so I will have plenty time to spend with your animals. I’m free on the weekends as well . Willing to come to your place to house sit and take care of your animals. I have done that in the past for people. Willing to also stop by and give water, food and walks with some play time on the side .

About: I have over 500 hours of dog watching and raising experience (outside of my own pets) and spent over 800 hours volunteering cat care for kittens and disabled kitties I am a grad student with a totally flexible schedule and can work from home easily if needed! I will be able to incorporate your pet into my routine seamlessly. I also have the ability to fully care for your pet at their own home. I am able to be there often if needed or can stop by for occasional visits based off your own needs.

About: I am a loving, kind, and patient individual who takes intentional time to get to know your pet. I have never met a fur baby I don’t love! I am available before 9 am and after 5 pm on weekdays and all day on Saturdays and Sundays with the exception of some work events. With love and mutual respect - for your fur baby and for your home. I will treat like my own pet and make sure that they are well taken care of and watched after.

About: I am a college student studying to be a small animal veterinarian who has grown up with dogs my whole life. I have trained dogs almost my whole life from search and rescue, dog sports, as well as service work. I have lots of experience with dog sitting and walking, as well as having 2 dogs of my own. I have been working at a vet clinic for about 2 years, furthering my experience with animals. I am currently a sophomore in college, but my class schedule is pretty flexible with long breaks in between classes to care for animals. Outside of classes, I have some hobbies, but nothing that is too time consuming to prevent me from walking/taking care of dogs and cats. In my townhome, we don't have a yard, but the dogs will get walked to go potty about every 2-4 hours and will get a long walk once or twice a day, depending on what they need. In the client's home, I will spend time playing with them or just giving them attention, as well as long walks to tire them out.

About: I love animals and have cared for animals my entire life. I completed a Certification in Veterinary Assisting in 2019 and have over 500 hours of Veterinary clinical experience including dogs, cats, horses, and exotic animals. I have worked and cared for sick and healthy animals while working in this clinic, as well as having pets at home for the past 15 years of my life. I have cared for senior animals as well as female animals in heat. I love the animals I care for and watch as if they were my own! I am currently a full time employee at the University of Georgia remote field station located near Augusta, GA. Weekdays, my hours are very early in the morning, so I have the early morning to do morning care and I should be home from work earlier in the afternoon- making me available to do walks, feeding, training, check-ins, show some love to my animals I am currently boarding in the evening. My weekends are open! I have many walking areas near my home, as well as 2 dog parks within a 2 minute walk from me and a large green available for dogs to play in. There is a big dog dog park separated from the small dog dog park!

About: My family has owned a dog for six years which I have taken care of. I walk, feed, play with, and take care of her vet and medical needs. I have also done a lot of work with animal hope alliance for 3 years and have ample experience with cats. Here at Tech I have pet-sit for several friends during breaks and weekends! I am a graduate student at VT so I do mainly lab work rather than classes and have a lot of freedom to play around with my schedule to make sure that your pets get my undivided attention whenever needed! My weekends are entirely free, especially for any boarding or home sitting needs! I do live in a apartment, but I am very close to the dog park if you allow that, and have a decent sized fenced in area near my complex that is virtually always empty for pets that don’t socialize well with other pets!

About: I'm majoring in animal science and am planning on applyingn to vet school next summer. I've taken care of dogs and other pets my whole life. I've worked at a doggy day care and as a veterinary assistant at a vet clinic for dogs and cats. I'm currently on summer break and have a part time job working at an equine vet hospital. I am looking to walk dogs on my days off!! I enjoy going on long walks with dogs around neighborhoods, and will always make sure your pet stays hydrated during these hot and humid summer days.
