“Sydney took great care of of our dog for a weekend. Maple had a great time playing with Sydney's dogs and got plenty of exercise in the back yard. Would definitely have Sydney dog sit again.”

“Courtney & Kam were amazing! We had a super informative meet and greet in the beginning. They had my boy over Christmas and I got pictures every day. I could tell how happy he was there. When I picked him up, he was super happy to see me, but I could also tell he was kind of sad to leave them. They went on many hiking adventures and he came back just as clean. Courtney & Kam were super flexible with the time, especially when I had to extend my trip a couple days early. Overall, I would recommend them. I could tell they loved my pup with all their heart!! They were super professional and very kind. I also saw how well kept and nice their home was.”

“Amari was absolutely wonderful with Frost! She took him on very short notice, which I greatly appreciated, and he had an amazing time in her care. It was clear from the updates and from how happy and relaxed Frost was when we picked him up that he was well cared for and loved. Amari is reliable, communicative, and genuinely enjoys spending time with the dogs she watches. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you, Amari, for taking such great care of Frost!”

“I was so happy I found Linda and David. They spoiled my baby more than I did. LOL. But traveling without worrying about my puppy was such a relief. I received so many wonderful pictures and they even washed his bed for me. He made some friends and slept well. What a blessing they were and now, I will only call them when I need care for my baby. Thank you Linda & David.”

About: My experience comes from caring for my own dog and my sister’s dog. I’m comfortable with frequent walks and potty breaks, including for dogs still working on house training. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, helping with bathing and basic grooming, administering routine medication, and measuring meals to follow specific dietary needs. I carefully follow owners’ instructions and am patient and happy to adapt to each dog’s routine, whether they enjoy outdoor time or prefer a slower pace. I’m a student with classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Most of my other commitments are remote, apart from occasional meetings, giving me flexibility around my classes. For boarding and overnight stays, I’m available Monday after 7:30 PM through Tuesday, as well as Saturdays and Sundays. For walks, drop-in visits, and longer care sessions, I’m available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Friday after 4:30 PN, and weekends. During longer stays, I can keep your pet company while completing schoolwork between care tasks. We’ll confirm your pet’s needs and my availability before booking. I’ll take time to learn your pet’s routine, behavior, and care needs before booking. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, and any household rules. I’ll keep dogs leashed on walks, check that doors and gates are secure, and send updates and photos. We’ll also discuss how long your pet can comfortably be alone to make sure my schedule is a good fit. For boarding, I live in an apartment with my own room and bathroom, and big living room. I also have a pool and nice area to have walks! I will spend a lot of time giving walks and staying outside if needed!

About: I’ve had dogs since i was a baby, always been one of my favorite things. I’ve been told i’m an animal whisperer and have a special connection with pets i don’t even know! I’m currently a part time worker, i’d have plenty of time to take care of and watch your animals. l don’t spend much time away from home max would be 4-5hrs on certain days. I’m overly open with pets being out around the house, they can be crated if needed of course. I have a small fenced area but a leash would still be needed preferably due to my neighbors dogs.
“Kennedy was extremely kind. Our dog Remi can be nervous and she quickly came around to Kennedy. Kennedy provided daily updates and was quick to respond. She was very flexible of our travel times and understanding. We look forward to having Kennedy watch Remi again”

“Boarded my lab with Christy & Jonathan for the weekend & they were fantastic. Excellent communication & daily pics/updates. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience & will definitely use them again!”

About: I am an Animal and Dairy Science student at Virginia Tech, part of the Honors College, and on the pre-veterinary track. I am also currently completing a master’s program in Animal Behavior and Welfare, which gives me a strong scientific foundation in animal behavior, stress, enrichment, and humane handling. Throughout college I have also worked as an RA for the Honors College and as an ambassador for the School of Animal Science, which has given me strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, I have hands-on experience working in multiple, varied veterinary clinics, allowing me to care for animals of different temperaments, ages, and medical needs with confidence and professionalism. I have years of experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, ducks, and other livestock and companion animals. Throughout college, I volunteered consistently at an animal shelter, where I worked with shy, fearful, high-energy, and senior animals, gaining experience in safe handling, enrichment, and basic training reinforcement. I am especially comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and animals that need patience, routine, or extra reassurance. What sets me apart is my combination of academic training, real-world veterinary and shelter experience, and genuine love for animals. I approach pet care thoughtfully, paying close attention to behavior, body language, and individual needs. I am also actively working toward animal training certifications, allowing me to reinforce good manners, routines, and positive behaviors during care. I treat every animal as an individual and prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. I am currently in a few morning courses to finish my undergraduate degree and taking animal behavior and welfare classes online towards my master’s degree. This gives my flexibility during almost every part of the day, every day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and consistency above all else. I closely follow each pet’s routine, feeding instructions, and any medical or behavioral needs, while paying careful attention to body language and stress signals. My background in animal science and behavior allows me to handle pets calmly and confidently, maintain a clean and secure environment, and ensure pets feel comfortable and well cared for in their familiar space.
