About: I’m going into my junior year at Virginia Tech with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and currently have a yellow lab at home in Richmond named Cheddar so I’m very comfortable with all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’ve pet-sat for friends, neighbors, and family including overnight stays, feeding routines, daily walks, and giving pets lots of attention and playtime. About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I recently graduated with my BSN in Animal Sciences, and have been working in the veterinary field since 2022. I am currently working as a full-time emergency veterinary assistant. I currently work full-time at an emergency veterinary hospital. I have plenty of time on my days off and after work to care for your pets! I would be very comfortable taking your furry friends for walks, crating them, or just hanging out! About: I’ve owned a black Labrador(Anna) for over 13 years, she has not once had any sort of health issue as I’ve feed her well, and kept her up to date on vet visits. I’m caring, compassionate, and smart and versatile enough to be calm in any situation that may arise. I assure you that I will treat your pet as if it were my own. This allows me the freedom to stay focused on your pet and be there when other folks have to leave. If a situation ever does arrive my strength are communication so you can rest assured I will be in constant contact, which as a pet owner for an older girl myself id expect from others if I left her in their care. If the pet requires adequate exercise I have no problem going on a long walk with them and the space is pet friendly as my dog (Anna) is there. About: My family adopted a 10 month old rescue pup, Charlie, when I was 7 years old. For the 12 years that I got to spend with him he was my best friend. Although he was stronger than me the first few years of his life, I was still involved in his training and feeding care until I was big enough to take him out and walk him. Once I could handle him, I took him out, walked him, and helped give baths. As an adult, I have done multiple pet-sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends. I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. My job experience includes retail, landscaping, and food/bar service. Working late nights in downtown Blacksburg, I have become keen at cleaning up messes of all kinds. This summer, my schedule is wide open! I play pool a couple of nights a week, but that doesn't last for more than a few hours and I can always go late/leave early to get back to the pets. When the school year starts, I will schedule pet sitting around my class schedule. I am equipped to handle dogs of almost any size on a leash, and I love to play fetch in a yard/at the park. I can keep food and water bowls clean and full, I can crate dogs if needed, and I can keep a litter box clean!

About: I’ve always been a huge lover of animals ever since I was little and have always had a passion for providing them the best care possible. I have nearly three years of Veterinary experience working as an assistant and am currently attending college to further my education in veterinary medicine. Over the years I’ve assisted with my mom’s petsitting business, volunteered and fostered with my local shelter and have taken various animal care based classes throughout my college career. About: I have two dogs at my house that I trained since they were puppies. I love animals and want to work with the owner and pet to make the best situation. I am currently in college and can work after 4pm and on weekends . I am pretty flexible about my schedule and can always move things around. I like to take the dogs for a walk in the morning and let them stress there legs. My dogs roam around the house all day.

About: I have always grown up around pets around the house! I am currently at college and am missing being around animals. I am always available to hang out, walk, play, or just chill with a pet. I have dealt with my goldendoodle for 9 years and it is the best thing that has happened to me. I am a college student and have 2 classes everyday which are each 1 hour. Therefore, I have a lot of flexibility before, in between, and after classes. I exercise daily so walking/playing with a dog fit perfectly in my schedule. At my home I live with 3 other girls who also love pets so having pets in our place is no problem! We have a dog park right down the road and also plenty of trails near me where I can them on walks.

About: I currently work as a veterinary assistant at Veterinary Surgical Center, so I have plenty of experience handling pets and reading body language. I have had pets of my own since I was 5 years old, and became very passionate about animals around age 12. Since then I have owned and worked with dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, and more. I am a junior at Virginia Tech on the pre-vet track, hoping to turn my passion for animals into a career. My work in the veterinary field has taught me a lot about animal body language and behavior. I am very observant and will be sure to monitor your pet for any changes in behavior. I have learned to pick up on cues from many different animal personalities, and how to act accordingly, ensuring that your pet is always comfortable. I love walking and being outdoors.
