I'm consistently available on Tuesdays, and from Friday afternoons until Monday mornings. I can also take additional bookings as my schedule allows, depending on distance. About: I've been taking care of pets since I was a teenager, both for and outside of my family. I became a certified veterinarian assistant and have worked at animal clinics for seven years. I am able to do both simple and advanced skills like dog walking, drop-in play visits and administering medications. With having a diabetic dog, I have experience administering insulin and understanding the responsibilities that come with those cases. I currently work full-time at the animal clinic, but have availability during lunch hours during the work week. On Fridays and the weekends I am more flexible. At this time, I am unable to provide services at my home. In the future I will revisit that as a possible added opportunity to care for your pets.

About: I am a big believer that humans need dogs as much as dogs need humans and I would love to be that human for your dog! I am currently a student at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine earning a Masters degree in Biomedical science. I have classes during the week from 8-12, but spend every minute after class home in my apartment with the exception of an hour break to go to the gym. On the weekends i am often studying, so I will be home at all times. I have a small one bedroom apartment that has plenty of room for a dog to have free range. I allow dogs on the furniture and bed so that is no issue. There is plenty of room for a crate, which i would prefer if I am leaving the dog alone while I am at class. There is an excellent 2 mile walking trail around my complex that I do daily and would love to take your dog as my companion!

About: Growing up with large breeds (Bernese Mountain Dog & German Shepard), I’ve always been a lover of all pets, especially dogs. Since relocating to Blacksburg area for work 7 years ago, I’ve pet sat for a variety of animals in the region, ranging from puppies to senior dogs with specific medical needs. It would be an honor to meet and care for your pets! I work full time at VT (a few days are remote/week) and part time at a brewery, although both schedules are quite flexible. I am happy to adjust schedules or remote days to meet your pets needs! I don’t have any pets in my current home, so I’m flexible to either board at my townhouse or stay at the pets home! I offer both options to all families and willing to drive up to an hour distance.

About: I have worked in a boarding facility for two years. I have experience with taking care of pets and walking. I have taken care of diabetic pets as well as given any medication to those who need them as well. I am currently home for the summer and have time while home to pet sit and watch your furry babies. i love working with animals and if i can help then i would love to. I would care for them as if they were my own and make sure they get the best care given.
