About: I care for my four cats at home and have taken care of dogs for my neighbors and friends. I like giving individual care to every pet I care for and ensuring your daily routines are kept with your pet. I interact, play, and take care of my pets nearly all day. Daily feedings, cleaning, and keeping of general well-being are part of my daily routine. I try to stay consistent with your routine for your pet to create a familiar environment for your furry friend. Whether drop-in care, overnight stays, or walks, I put effort into maintaining the environment that is right for your pet.

About: I’ve owned a black Labrador(Anna) for over 13 years, she has not once had any sort of health issue as I’ve feed her well, and kept her up to date on vet visits. I’m caring, compassionate, and smart and versatile enough to be calm in any situation that may arise. I assure you that I will treat your pet as if it were my own. This allows me the freedom to stay focused on your pet and be there when other folks have to leave. If a situation ever does arrive my strength are communication so you can rest assured I will be in constant contact, which as a pet owner for an older girl myself id expect from others if I left her in their care. If the pet requires adequate exercise I have no problem going on a long walk with them and the space is pet friendly as my dog (Anna) is there. In your home, I can assure you that my experience will allow me to provide the best care for your loved ones.

About: I am a lifelong animal lover. I grew up with a household full of animals, and was constantly bringing more home. In high school I spent two years in a veterinary science technical program where I learned husbandry, basic first aid, training, etc. I have experience working with animals of all life stages, and care requirements. I can administer medication, and even have worked with diabetic kitties (my cat Leo is a diabetic himself). I am a college student in my junior year studying finance and economics. During the week I have class in the morning. My afternoons are generally free, and so are my weekends. I treat all client's homes with respect. About: We’re a husband-and-wife team with a lifelong love for animals! We’ve both grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of our lives. Over the years, we’ve also been the go-to pet sitters for family and friends, caring for their dogs and cats and treating them just like members of our own family. We currently have two pups of our own who are very loved (and maybe a little spoiled! 😂), so we completely understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. We will ensure we watch them, keep them safe, and give them ample amount of outside and play time.

About: My family adopted a 10 month old rescue pup, Charlie, when I was 7 years old. For the 12 years that I got to spend with him he was my best friend. Although he was stronger than me the first few years of his life, I was still involved in his training and feeding care until I was big enough to take him out and walk him. Once I could handle him, I took him out, walked him, and helped give baths. As an adult, I have done multiple pet-sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends. I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. My job experience includes retail, landscaping, and food/bar service. Working late nights in downtown Blacksburg, I have become keen at cleaning up messes of all kinds. This summer, my schedule is wide open! I play pool a couple of nights a week, but that doesn't last for more than a few hours and I can always go late/leave early to get back to the pets. When the school year starts, I will schedule pet sitting around my class schedule. I am equipped to handle dogs of almost any size on a leash, and I love to play fetch in a yard/at the park. I can keep food and water bowls clean and full, I can crate dogs if needed, and I can keep a litter box clean!

About: Hi there! My name is Lacy, I've taken care of all different shapes and sizes of pets since I was very young. I worked at a doggy day care for a year, as well as a dog walking company in Los Angeles where I took 5-6 dogs at a time for walks/hikes. I have some experience with simple obedience training, such as proper leash manners and basic commands like sit, stay, wait & come. I will be happy to take your dogs on walks or hikes, I'm also happy to take care of cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, etc. Let me know if I can help! Thanks! About: I am a veterinarian who has dedicated her life to caring for animals. I have worked with animals from a young age, including many hours working in vet offices in high school leading up to college and vet school (became a licensed vet in 2020). I am quite comfortable with caring for animals who need medications administered, or more intense levels of care while their owners are away. Working with animals brings me joy and peace, and making sure they are happy and well cared for is my life mission. I believe in fear free handling, and I am happy to work with animals who do not trust unknown people. I am a licensed veterinarian but I am currently in grad school so I am very flexible. I can be home all day if needed, and can provide close supervision. I have a 3 year old female German Shepherd (very friendly!) and cats (mostly outdoor). I have the ability to keep my dog separate if needed but she loves playing with other dogs! I have a full sized truck and the ability to transport animals with me safely. I have 2.5 acres of fenced land for dogs to run and play as well as a small fenced in section adjacent to the house. A pet door offers come and go access to the house. I am free to drop in during the week or board animals for extended periods, and if your animal needs medications administered as part of their care I am very capable. I am comfortable handling large dogs (I have a lot of practice in my line of work as a veterinarian). I am also comfortable with young animals, cats, older animals, and any animal requiring high levels of care.

About: I have had and cared for pets my whole life! I took Veterinary Science 1 & 2 at New Horizons and I am a pre-veterinary student at Virginia Tech, so I have some experience in a more professional sense as well! I received a certification for basic veterinary methods through my New Horizons class! I also know basic pet first aid! As you can probably guess, I love love love animals! I work part-time and volunteer in hospice, so other than that, I am usually free! My work schedule depends on the week, but it is very lenient! I treat each of my own pets as family, so when working with other’s pets, I like to do the same. I treat pets with the same amount of care as I would someone’s child and cater to each individual pet’s needs.
