I am always respectful when I am in a client's home. I appreciate when clients leave instructions and clear expectations on how they would like their space to be respected while I am caring for their pets.
Information Abby S. would like to know about your pet
I have some experience working with puppies/younger dogs and I know how to accommodate senior dogs as well. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs. I prefer to work with medium and large breed dogs, but I am open to service all clients.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs and go on walks. Some of my favorite activities include hiking, playing fetch, tug of war, and cuddling. I love when neighborhoods have long walking paths; I take dogs on those.

Pet care experience
In middle and high school, my family and I were members of Rover and we developed a small group of satisfied repeat clients. I have been around animals my whole life. My uncle had two dogs that I grew up with. Watching them while my uncle and aunt were out of town taught me valuable skills and experiences like walking a dog, feeding, bathing, playing, and training. My aunt is a vet and I have learned a lot from her. In high school, my family got our dog, and having her in the house with us has been a joy; she makes us laugh every day. The responsibility of having a dog made me more reliable when it comes to pet care and overall life. Also, I was part of a club at my former university where we volunteered to train service dogs for people in need, and a lot of those skills and practices translate into how well I can handle a dog. In Summer 2023, I moved back home and continued my Rover services in my hometown, gaining several clients, including multiple repeat clients for drop-ins, walks, and housesitting.

Reviews

Abby is great! Our high energy kitty gets very grouchy when we leave town but Abby spent time making sure she was entertained and and had plenty of play time. We came home to a happy cat. We will definitely trust her with our furbaby again!

Abby was personable and easy to work with. She took great care of our kitties while we were on vacation. The kitties loved her and we got great pictures throughout.

Took excellent care of our cats! Spectacular service on short notice!
Thank you !
