I have grown up around animals and love all sorts, even some of the stranger kinds! As a kid I had a summer job taking care of a family friend's animals while they were away. They had two small, older dogs and at one point a rabbit! So I quickly got used to cleaning up messes, haha. In high school, I got a job working as a Kennel Assistant at a local Animal Hospital. As a result I have about 3+ years of experience giving medications to dogs and cats, walking all sorts of dogs, and cleaning up some pretty extreme messes. I have worked with all ages and kinds, from dogs and cats, big and small, young and old, even friendly and feisty! Because of my experience I know how to deal with animals that may be very excitable or unfriendly to new people, as well as older animals that need more attention. One of my own cats, who had since passed on, needed to take up to 6 different medications in the mornings, and ate a special diet. My family's current dogs, Holly and Lucy, are getting old themselves and take supplements and need gentle exercise, as well as more frequent visits home to take them out for a walk and to use the bathroom. My schedule is flexible, and I can accommodate your schedule as necessary, but generally I can work between 10am-6pm all week. I would prefer not to have work on Sundays, but can make exceptions depending on what you need! I will take the upmost care of your animals and make sure they have everything they need. If your pet is very energetic and needs to be played with 'till tired, just let me know! If your pet has separation anxiety, I can stay with them longer and visit more frequently during the day. If your dog or cat is diabetic, I can check their blood pressure and give them their insulin. All this to say, if you have anything at all you need me to do for your pet, please just let me know, and I will work with you to be sure your pet is comfortable and taken care of.
