“Brianna is a wonderful pet sitter! She has been to us numerous times and has administered insulin to our diabetic cat as well as looked after our other cat. She leaves detail summaries and photos which are always a comfort to see. I had a family emergency and requested her to come with only a few hours notice! She responded very quickly and it gave me peace to know our diabetic cat would be cared for. I highly recommend Brianna💚”

“Jillian was wonderful. My dog loved her, she convinced my anxiety ridden dog to eat while I was gone which is rare and she left my house exactly as she found it. Wonderful daily updates, sweet pup pictures. 10/10 I highly recommend her.”

“Amanda always does a WONDERFUL job!! Blue, my cat, is always in good hands with her. She checks his food, water fountain, and gives him his daily churu judt as asked and also plays with him for me! Blue is always a happy, healthy, and safe cat when I return!”

About: Ever since I was born I had an animal right by my side . I have learned to take care of animals and provide for them. I have taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets in the past. I also have worked at a dog daycare called tail chasers so I have experience with big dog groups. I’m good with cats as well . I’m experienced with walking multiple dogs at a time because I got 3 myself. I’m currently working 3:30 am to 12:00 pm so I will have plenty time to spend with your animals. I’m free on the weekends as well . Willing to come to your place to house sit and take care of your animals. I have done that in the past for people. Willing to also stop by and give water, food and walks with some play time on the side .
“She was very patient with my spicy boy, I loved seeing the pictures she took and she kept me very informed during the visits as well will be booking again in the future!”

“We are so amazed by the care that Rita provided our boys when we were away. We knew from our initial meeting that she offers her services because she loves pets so much. We will definitely only hire her for our future needs and we recommend her without reservation!”

“Carley was wonderful! She was very personable and engaged right away with Charlie, our cat. She kept us updated and sent pictures. I would highly recommend her! We left her a tip at our house. Pat Shoemaker”

“Phoenix was an amazing sitter for my cat Louie! She was communicative and polite, as well as having a calm & down to earth presence. I felt confident Louie was safe under her care while i was gone for the week! 😊”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong love and experience with animals. I grew up caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand their needs. I make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy, and I provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to follow routines, administer medications if needed, and give owners peace of mind while they’re away. As a student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention and care. I’m free most evenings and early mornings during the week, and I have open availability from Friday through Sunday. I can provide feeding, playtime, cuddles, litter box cleaning, and regular updates while fitting visits around your schedule. Even with my classes, I prioritize making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. When caring for pets in your home or mine, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment. I follow your cat’s routine for feeding, litter box care, and playtime, and I make sure to provide plenty of attention, affection, and reassurance. I observe their behavior closely to ensure they’re happy and relaxed, and I handle any medications, like flea or parasite treatments, calmly and carefully. I also provide regular updates so you know your cat is well cared for and content while you’re away.
“Tilly was an angel! We had someone else from River arranged and they backed out at the last minute and thank goodness for Tilly! She took such good care of our senior dog who has some special needs, sent great updates and even better pictures of Gus hanging out with her. She stayed at our house and it’s clear she took great care of it and our boy! Thoughtful, caring, and our best River experience ever!”

“Sydney was very understanding of Gracie's needs as Gracie is an an elder dog. She interacted with Gracie, sent pictures and text updates during her drop in visits. She communicated both before, during and after her visits. Definitely would recommend Sdney to help care for your pet!”

“Rachel is a wonderful cat sitter! My cats were very happy and well taken care of, and even Bella, who is very shy around new people, warmed up to her. Rachel was also very easy to talk to and sent daily updates.”

“Lauren was absolutely perfect - super flexible and communicative. She also got a couple of studio-quality pictures of our cats :) We appreciated all her help and will definitely book her again!”
About: I am a veterinarian who has dedicated her life to caring for animals. I have worked with animals from a young age, including many hours working in vet offices in high school leading up to college and vet school (became a licensed vet in 2020). I am quite comfortable with caring for animals who need medications administered, or more intense levels of care while their owners are away. Working with animals brings me joy and peace, and making sure they are happy and well cared for is my life mission. I believe in fear free handling, and I am happy to work with animals who do not trust unknown people. I am a licensed veterinarian but I am currently in grad school so I am very flexible. I can be home all day if needed, and can provide close supervision. I have a 3 year old female German Shepherd (very friendly!) and cats (mostly outdoor). I have the ability to keep my dog separate if needed but she loves playing with other dogs! I have a full sized truck and the ability to transport animals with me safely. I have 2.5 acres of fenced land for dogs to run and play as well as a small fenced in section adjacent to the house. A pet door offers come and go access to the house. I am free to drop in during the week or board animals for extended periods, and if your animal needs medications administered as part of their care I am very capable. I am comfortable handling large dogs (I have a lot of practice in my line of work as a veterinarian). I am also comfortable with young animals, cats, older animals, and any animal requiring high levels of care.

About: I grew up on a small farm raising a variety of animals including dogs and cats. Sometimes what seems to be a mean animal is just a misunderstood animal that need extra time and attention and love. I have a pretty open schedule and would like to build relationships with animals and fellow animal lovers alike. Right now I only do other low commitment jobs like DoorDash and have time to fit you into my schedule. This is kind of a good and bad thing about me but I love an animal that loves food, and I enjoy rewarding them with treats for good behavior. I promise not to fatten up your pets too much though.
New River cat parents share their Rover experiences
It was a pleasure meeting Abby. She was a good fit for Charlie who doesn't always warm up to new people. She kept up with the litter and his food, and changed his water. And she took time to visit with him and play---and he continued to play more with his toys than he usually does when we got home. We appreciated her detailed notes and the many pictures. It was really nice to be able to take a vacation and know that Charlie was being visited by Abby.
