Teddi is a very well behaved and friendly boy but we were a bit anxious how this would go. Walt kept us well informed on how Teddi was doing. Walt gave Teddi great care and a lot of attention. When we returned to pick up Teddi, it was obvious that he and Teddy had bonded very well. We are very pleased with the care that Walt provided and will certainly use him again.”
About: I've watched dogs and cats with all different personalities and needs (i.e. blind, diabetic, anxious, etc.). I believe in understanding a pet's needs from the perspective of the pet and responding with compassion. I work full time, but can usually work from home if needed. I will talk with you before we commit to pet sitting to ensure my schedule works for your needs (if that's getting off early, working from home every day during the time of the sitting, going home over lunch for a walk, etc). I have no fur babies (or kids) of my own, so your babies will get my undivided attention and I will shower them with all the love I wish I could give to my own fur baby if I had one. (Know I recognize that love looks different for different critters - for some it may mean keeping a respectful distance!)

About: I take care of pets for family when they need it and have experience caring for older pets, puppies, and those with special care instructions. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can take time to walk dogs during the day. I’m most available during the weekend and after 5 pm for over night boarding, but can potentially accommodate other schedules. I have no pets, so my home is perfect for less friendly pets. Crates will need to provided if they are needed for your pet, but I’m willing to keep up with their routine.

I was raised with three cats (2 indoor, 1 outdoor), caring for them from kittenhood all the way through end-of-life care, including demanding daily routines and administering medication. Rover doesn't let me customize my availability by day, but this is my usual schedule: Mon: usually free, may have class scheduled 1-4 Tue: in class 9-4 Wed/Thurs: in class 9-3:30 Fri-Sun: free! If anything changes that prevents me from caring for your pets, I will let you know ASAP! I care for pets by providing a comfortable and loving environment for your pet while you’re gone. About: My family adopted a 10 month old rescue pup, Charlie, when I was 7 years old. For the 12 years that I got to spend with him he was my best friend. Although he was stronger than me the first few years of his life, I was still involved in his training and feeding care until I was big enough to take him out and walk him. Once I could handle him, I took him out, walked him, and helped give baths. As an adult, I have done multiple pet-sitting jobs for neighbors and family friends.
