About: I’ve had and been around pets my whole life and have experience with animals of all sizes. I have house-sat, dog walked, and done routine checking on pets for multiple years for friends and family. I also volunteer at the animal shelter to help animals in need I’m currently working part time and only work a few days a week so I am available almost all the time to check in and help out with animals. My long shifts also contain breaks so I can interact with animals throughout the day even while working. I don’t typically stay overnight for house sitting because of the larger time commitment, but if that is something you are interested in I am able to add a small overnight fee to give your animals the care they need. I know how to handle all kinds of pets in all kinds of sizes and I care for each animal as if it were my own. The safety and health of your animal is my top priority while they are under my care.

About: I’m an experienced cat sitter and foster caregiver with a passion for helping pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I currently foster two cats and have two of my own, and over the years I’ve cared for and socialized more than 40 cats and kittens. Because I foster cats and have my own at home, caring for pets is naturally built into my day, and I can adjust my schedule to meet the needs of each pet I sit. I prioritize a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet I care for. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure the space is secure, clean, and free from hazards, with plenty of cozy spots for pets to relax. I handle all pets gently and patiently, especially those who may be nervous or shy, giving them time to adjust and feel comfortable.

About: I am a lifelong animal lover. I grew up with a household full of animals, and was constantly bringing more home. In high school I spent two years in a veterinary science technical program where I learned husbandry, basic first aid, training, etc. I have experience working with animals of all life stages, and care requirements. I do currently have two male dogs who are 8 and 9 years old. They both are very friendly and very playful. They play with puppies and older dogs very well and they’re very diverse with sizes of dogs who they are around. If your dog is aggressive to other male dogs, this won’t be a good fit for you. However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

About: I currently work as a veterinary assistant at Veterinary Surgical Center, so I have plenty of experience handling pets and reading body language. I have had pets of my own since I was 5 years old, and became very passionate about animals around age 12. Since then I have owned and worked with dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, and more. I am a junior at Virginia Tech on the pre-vet track, hoping to turn my passion for animals into a career.
