About: I’ve cared for dogs since elementary school taking care of two family dogs with very high energy! Now a work from home dog dad, I can provide plenty of attention to your furry friends. Including morning, lunch time, and evening walks to get the zoomies out, play tug of war, or some simple fetch. I work from home and tend to have very limited scheduled meetings. This allows me to be flexible with my week day schedule as I’m available 8am and on to take care and play with your dogs. Weekends I am typically busy with an outdoors adventure, but am always open to adding a furry friend to join my pup on outings. I have a completely fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run around and get the zoomies out. I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood with a great 20-30 minute walking loop and quick access to the Deschutes river if your dog loves the water.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a young child from big to small. I have experience with pit bulls, Rottweilers, and understand adjustments they may need to increase their comfort. I love giving them an active experience, long walks, camping and small hikes based on their abilities and your preferences. I have a dog door in my fenced in backyard where they can go in and out at anytime while I’m working during the day Monday-Friday. I walk daily in my own routine, I would easily be able to add your pet as a companion on my daily walks to give them exercise and outside time. I have a fenced in yard, and a screen door that is open at the bottom that will allow your dog to go in and out anytime they need during the day while I’m working Monday-Friday. I also do have occasional opportunities to come home during my lunch for companionship and play time.
“Aly was so wonderful! We live out of town and were in Bend for a concert. Our puppy is only 10 months old so I was anxious about leaving her with someone new in a new area, but Aly completely put my mind at ease and was so communicative before and during our puppy’s stay. She even did a little meet and greet when we rolled into town so that our puppy would be more comfortable when we dropped her off the day of our event. It was a great experience and I will definitely be booking with Aly again next time we’re in Bend!”

“Sara did a great job with Poppy the Fat. She sent pictures and a video of Poppy getting along with her pets and playing. She put up with Poppy's constant yearning to go outside and hunt something”
“We had a last-minute need for boarding, and our little Dachshund would not have been happy in a kennel at a facility. Despite being the little guy in a group of 3 other 50lb dogs, the lap time and personal attention she gave our boy made him feel much better at having to be separated from his family and not being thrown "to the wolves". It was definitely worth the extra money knowing he was safe and being cared for.”

“I felt very assured I was leaving my dog in good hands when meeting Stacey. She had a very calming confidence when I mentioned my GSP has some separation anxiety. I would highly recommend Stacey to anyone needing her pup sitting services. Thank you!”

“Jamie was wonderful with my dog Oreo! My almost 13 year old chihuahua mix stayed with Jamie for a long weekend this summer. It was obvious Oreo had a wonderful weekend and was treated to plenty of walks, sun bathing on the couch, and cuddles. I loved the updates and pictures while I was away, they helped me know Oreo was safe and cared for deeply! Jamie was wonderful at listening to Oreo's needs for her older age, now needing soft food, no stairs, and shorter walks. All around I had a wonderful experience with Jamie and I'm sure Oreo did too!”

“This is our second time back with Julie and Colin and they were just as wonderful the first time as they were the second time. We’ll definitely be using them again. Julie and Colin, thank you so much for being so accommodating - especially with the wonky weather!”
“Colin and his daughters were incredibly kind and helpful watching our dogs over the holiday weekend — especially with only 30 minutes notice! They sent photo updates throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind, and we never had to worry about our pups at all. It’s clear they genuinely care about the animals they watch. We’re so grateful for their flexibility and care, and would absolutely book with them again!”

“Amy was incredible! She was so sweet to our Sammie and was so kind to send pictures and updates while we were away. Sammie was taken care of perfectly and we truly hope to have her stay with Amy again the next time we need care!”

“Tracy was amazing! She was so kind and communicative, and I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with her and her family. I really appreciated how thoughtful and professional she was in making sure the stay would be a great fit for everyone. She sent plenty of wonderful updates and gave my pup an active and engaging staycation. I’d absolutely book with her again or recommend her to anyone.”

“I think I found my new go-to sitter! Sarah was incredibly flexible with timing and so generous with the amount of pics she sent of Jasper. Jasper got dog park play, walks, backyard time, and indoor cuddles. Location is prime and Sarah is wonderful!”

“Whitney did a great job with our two pups! We have one old pup that takes 8 meds a day (so she’s a lot) and another pup that’s 5yo who has a ton of energy - he doesn’t leash walk (pulls like crazy) and Whitney still managed to get him out to the dog park. Great care.”

“We use Susan often to watch our 8 year old Goldendoodle, Jackson! Susan is so great. Super responsive and gives our pup a lot of love and activity. She always comes back happy and tired, and is always excited when we drop her off! Highly recommend.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bend
Jamie was an excellent home away from home for our senior dog! She sent me many photos and videos daily - I truly appreciated her keeping me so in the loop. Our dog is an older, mellow dog and Jamie did a great job making her feel at home. I would definitely recommend Jamie and go back - she truly cares and did a wonderful job.

Susan was the best dog sitter I could ever hope for to make my high energy, emotionally needy dog, Georgie, feel secure and well cared for. This was Georgie's first time with a pet sitter and from all the adventures, snuggles, etc. they went on (Susan sent lots of pictures and updates) I had no doubt that Georgie was getting all the attention (and probably more) that she was used to at home. I highly recommend Susan, she loves dogs and is very knowledgeable about them (and she knows where all the great dog parks in Bend are to match your dog's needs.)

This is the second time that Russell has been available to take care of my dog. Russell is the BEST! He absolutely treats your dog as if it his best buddy. He even gave me some very useful dog-walking tips. I will use his services in the future and recommend him for caring for your dog, too.

Beautiful fenced in backyard with plenty of grass and even a water feature for the dogs to dip their paws in. Friendly companion dogs too. I’m sure Emmy received excellent care, and got plenty of attention from Jeanie and her family. She slept a lot when we picked her up which is a sign she had fun.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
