“She is so wonderful with my old, sometimes grumpy dog! Very patient! Lets my Benny come to her on his terms. She was a lifesaver this weekend. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Highly recommend Christina! She was extremely helpful during the initial meet and greet; spend time understanding our cat's daily needs and quirks. Excellent communication during the entire visit with excellent updates including pictures and videos. She also understands cats a lot which is sometimes hard to find on Rover. We have complete confidence in Christina and will be using her in the future.”

“Kevin is excellent and would highly recommend him. He is very comfortable and caring with animals and clearly enjoys being around them. His report cards are very thorough. Recently Kevin watched our cats and we had a last minute medical situation that involved giving one cat eyedrops. Kevin handled it smoothly and I felt good knowing that he was caring for our cats.”

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and dogs for some of those years. I love animals, spending time outdoors, and giving pets attentive, loving care. I’m eager to get outside more as I build my new naturopathic practice here in Bend. I work as a doctor Monday and Tuesday 10am-4pm, and remote on Wednesdays. I’m mostly free the other days and happy to housesit on days I work provided those times work for you for potty breaks. I am happy to stay at your home and provide care most days as long as my work hours are acceptable for your pets needs. I am very clean and respectful of your space.
About: I currently have two dogs of my own, one that we got as a little puppy and the other is a rescue. I have also been watching my neighbors dog for about eight years now and have watched some other friends and family members pets over the years too. I have a very flexible schedule that is easy to fit time for pet sitting into and I can make anything work with enough notice. For pets requiring a higher level of monitoring or care ( unable to leave for longer than 2 hours). Please know that I reserve the right to charge more due to being completely devoted to your pets needs for the period of time you require my services. I require a meet and greet for all pets I watch. This helps me and your pets feel more comfortable in your absence. I know that your pets schedule is important for their well being and that consistency is key to maintaining a happy and healthy pet, especially when they’re missing their owners. I promise to shower your pets with lots of love and care in your absence. I’m used to giving oral medications as I have an older dog myself and have experience giving oral meds to other dogs I have watched. I match your pets energy! If you’re worried about your pup not getting the same level of play time and stimulation, don’t fret. I love to play with dogs as long as the weather permits. I will ensure your pet gets the quality of play and stimulation required for them to feel their best. I also love puppies! I find their playful energy and curiosity to be endearing and fun! For pets that are less active, I enjoy snuggling and just chilling with them just as much. Before I leave your home I ensure that your pet has everything they need (feeding, playing, potty, water, etc.). As well as making sure they’re comfortable while they patiently wait for you to come home.

“Nathaniel checked on my two cats while I was traveling for a few days, and it was a great experience beginning to end. He's very responsive, asked good questions, and most importantly took great care of my little boys. I cannot recommend him enough!”

“Ginny was so wonderful! They were patient and kind with our shy cats. They spent plenty of time making sure our little ones were eating and getting some love. Communication was also quick and friendly!”

“Lauren was fantastic with our dogs. They both warned to her right away and were happy campers when we returned. I would definitely book with Lauren again if we needed a trusted sitter.”

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was born. I work in Downtown Bend and can frequently check in! I have a proven track record of being responsible and reliable for all different types of dogs. I will be available mostly weeknights after 5pm and weekends! I work in Downtown Bend so I can stop by for potty breaks and have plenty of time to play after work! I am always sure to get the dog’s energy out whether that be through a long walk, playing fetch, or letting them sniff out one spot for a few minutes!
“Our dogs loved Leeya so much that they keep asking when she can come play with them again! She’s was so kind and we really appreciated her being accommodating to our annoying schedule. 11/10 recommend!”

“Elaine was wonderful with our Moose!! The perfect amount of communication - we loved all the photos and updates. It’s clear Moose was well cared for! We’ll certainly book Elaine in the future :) thanks so much!!”

About: I have pet sat at others homes for medium sized dogs, staying with them walking them, and playing with them frequently. I have also hosted dogs at my house such as a friendly pitbull, as well as medium sized dogs. I love spending time with dogs and I feel very comfortable working with all types and sizes. Personally I have had lab mixes before and I love spending time with them, and I currently have a small yorkie/mini poodle mix named Poochie. I am working part time so I have plenty of time to hangout with the dogs! I am almost always free mornings before 11 but I am frequently available other times as well. I am happy to keep a very close eye on your dog if the yard isn’t as secure or just let them play and hangout with them if it is more secure!
About: I am comfortable with all animal types and caring for their special needs. I’ve worked on a ranch so i’m fond with it all. I have experience with senior animals that need extra help, and have recently cared for puppies 1 and under. Pet care fits into my daily routine by waking up and it being the only thing on my mind. I feed my dogs then take them on a long walk to get their energy out. I play with my dogs at least 5 times a day, ending it with their special food and another walk to the park. I care for pets in my clients home the same way I would my own, with love, care, and respect. I treat the animals I care for like they’re the only thing that matters!
About: In my personal life, I’m an active foster for several local rescue organizations—giving me firsthand experience managing dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and training levels. Over the years, I’ve supported everything from high-energy puppies to seniors needing meds and mobility help. At home, my partner and I care for our two dogs: a 16-year-old Corgi and a sharp, independent Australian Cattle Dog. Sitting through Rover gives me the chance to keep my training and dog-savvy skills sharp, meet new dogs one-on-one, and help neighbors in the Bend community travel or manage life events knowing their pets are in experienced hands. What I Offer - In-home pet sitting in a calm, pet-focused environment - Experience with senior care, crate routines, medication, and training basics - Holiday availability + flexible scheduling - Open to trial stays ahead of longer bookings Pet care is built into my daily routine, thanks to a flexible work schedule that includes occasionally work-from-home days and control over my hours. This lets me accommodate frequent walks, potty breaks, medication schedules, and whatever daily rhythm your dog is used to. I’ve worked closely with our heeler from adoption through advanced agility training, and I manage the full-time care of our senior corgi—including everything from structured supplement routines to unpredictable middle-of-the-night needs. I’m used to adjusting my day around the dogs in my care to keep things consistent, calm, and comfortable for them. When caring for pets in your home, I follow any routines or instructions you provide closely, whether related to feeding, crate use, medication, or training cues, and I maintain secure indoor and outdoor areas to ensure your dog’s safety at all times. Because I foster dogs regularly through rescue organizations, I’m experienced in safely introducing new pets to a "new normal" in the home and care giver situation, watching for signs of stress, and calming behavior without escalating situations. I also provide regular updates and am always reachable during a sit, so you can feel confident your dog is safe and well cared for while you're away.
“Sarah was awesome! She always made sure my dog was well taken care during her visits while I was out of town and provided me with updates on how he was doing. She went out of her way to get him some food when I had purchased the wrong bag before leaving town. Id recommend Sarah to anyone in SLC who needs a sitter!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bend
We love Caitlin! She is thorough, thoughtful and a true caregiver for our dog while we are gone. She goes above and beyond our expectations every time and is an excellent communicator. There is no doubt that we will try to rebook Caitlin next time we need someone!

Morgan was wonderful with our pup! She is professional, friendly, and a great communicator from start to finish. When she came over for the meet-and-greet, she asked thoughtful questions, immediately showed our dog so much kindness, and even helped redirect some of her over-the-top excitement. That gave me confidence right away. Our 1.5-year-old English Bulldog is full of energy and gets very excited when people come over. She’s not the easiest walker and can overheat quickly, so I was looking for someone who was happy to spend time playing in the yard, keeping her safe, and making sure she had fun. Morgan was exactly that. We’re so grateful for the wonderful care she gave our girl. I highly recommend Morgan and will absolutely book with her again!

Maci provided kind, gentle care for my sweet 16 year old dog Titus. On her two visits involving check-ins & walks she was timely, kept in touch, and made keen observations about my dog's humorous character and ways which were spot-on. It was a pleasure to have Maci care for my dog. I think you will feel the same way if she looks after your pet(s)!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
