About: I have several years of dog sitting and walking for family/friends! I have grown up with 3 big loving dogs, I know how to handle them with care! I work full time, but I’d love to walk dogs on the weekends! I enjoy long walks anyways, might as well bring a pup along! Because I’ve grown up with 3 large dogs, I know how to help a dog into its kennel and re-direct the animal when it is needed.
About: Me: I love all dogs and I'm particularly crazy about the big doggos, the gentle giants, the floofs. Lost my sweet boy to age and cancer two years ago and dog-sit to fill my bucket with doggo love. I've had medium-to-big dogs since I was smaller than they were; I've trained and worked with dogs on and off leash, from puppy to late-senior. Dogs in my care only go off leash with owner permission, and the dog's safety is paramount. Favorite command: "Trail" - to keep my big guy from roaming too far into the woods. The environment: I work from home full-time, which means pups get lots of companionship throughout the day. If I do have to be out of the house for an appointment, my hubby also works from home and is available for potty breaks and skritches. If we head out together, I prefer pups who are comfortable in their crates for up to 4 hours but are happy to talk to owners about any particular pup needs. Dogs are allowed on couches at our house, but only if the owner says yes - we follow your rules with your dog, to reinforce your training. Adventure and Playtime: Depending on your pup's energy levels, this might include summertime hikes and woodsy walks or runs, wintertime nordic adventures, river-trail loops, or simply couch time and neighborhood sniff-walks for the senior bois and girls. There's a friendly neighborhood pack of labs who get together for coffee every Friday (their humans get to come too), and a fenced dog park just three blocks away. I work from home full-time, which means pups get lots of companionship throughout the day. Dogsitting is part of my work (and my heart), so I block time in my work calendar to take your pup adventuring each day they're here. If I do have to be out of the house for an appointment, my hubby also works from home and is available for potty breaks and skritches. If hubs and I head out together, my goal is to keep the dog safe and as stress-free as possible. For that reason, I prefer dogs who are comfortable in their crates for 4-6 hours, but can be flexible; I am happy to talk to owners about any particular pup needs. Safety first, then fun and snuggles! We follow the owner's training rules and instructions regarding on/off-leash time, couches, food, snacks, etc. With two of us working from home, your dog is well-loved and well-cared-for. We have a two-dog limit and don't take dogs from different families unless they already know each other. (Example: You and your BFF are heading to the coast together, and want your dogs have their own getaway weekend at our house!)
About: I have cared for friends dogs over the years. I grew up with dogs and was their primary caregiver. I am known to attract dogs when I meet them. They know I care about them and am gentle. I am retired with a flexible schedule all week except when I travel. I am not an early riser but can happily adapt when necessary. I have a fenced back yard with a dog door to allow free movement. I don’t currently have a dog. I can crate the dog if that is its routine. They will gets lots of love
“Forgot to feed our dog per instruction but drove right back to do so after I asked her! And forgot to collect mail the first time we used her; but Emma is very sweet and Josie loves her! Perhaps additional sticky notes would be good, but she is a good communicator and lover of dogs. We will definitely use her again.”
About: Hello! My name is Mara, and I would love the opportunity to meet you and your best friend! I have extensive personal and professional experience working with animals, along with a strong background in animal rescue and welfare. Through my work in rescue, I’ve cared for animals with a wide range of needs and temperaments, including administering medications, providing specialized and senior care, caring for puppies, and supporting animals through transitions and new environments. My experience extends across many species, including dogs, cats, horses, chickens, cows, aquatic pets, and reptiles. I’m comfortable working with a wide variety of dog breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I understand the importance of providing each animal with individualized care, patience, attention, and plenty of love. I currently live with our five large dogs , so animals are very much a part of my everyday life. Whether I’m caring for a playful puppy, a senior pet, an animal with special needs, or simply providing companionship while you’re away, my goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for. My rescue and animal welfare experience has taught me to be attentive to the little things—changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or body language—and to treat every animal as an individual. I would love the chance to learn more about you and your pet and discuss how I can help. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily life. I currently work a flexible schedule that allows me to have significant control over my availability, which means I can accommodate a variety of pet-care needs and schedules. I’m happy to work with your pet’s existing routine as much as possible, whether that means morning walks, midday check-ins, medication schedules, evening visits, overnight care, or simply providing companionship while you’re away. I understand that consistency is important to animals, and I’ll do my best to keep their normal schedule and habits intact. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m also able to adapt when a pet needs a little extra time, attention, or care. Whether you have a busy workday, an unexpected change in plans, a puppy who needs frequent potty breaks, a senior pet who needs additional support, or simply want someone to give your best friend some company, I’m happy to see how I can help. My goal is to make pet care convenient and stress-free for both you and your pets. I’m flexible, dependable, and happy to find a schedule that works for everyone! 🐾 Whether your pet stays with me or I care for them in the comfort of their own home, my goal is the same: to provide a safe, loving, enriching environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. In my home: Pets staying with me become part of the household—not simply guests. I provide plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, enrichment, and opportunities for exercise and decompression. I believe pets thrive when they can maintain a sense of routine while also receiving plenty of affection and interaction. My own animals are an important part of my home, so I take introductions, personalities, energy levels, and individual needs seriously. I work to ensure everyone is comfortable and set up for success, and I follow each pet’s feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions as closely as possible. In your home: When I care for your pets in their own environment, I understand how important it is to maintain their normal routine. I’ll follow your instructions regarding meals, medications, walks, playtime, potty breaks, litter boxes, and any other household or pet-care needs. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language so I can recognize when something feels different or when your pet may need additional attention. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your best friend is being well cared for. For dogs, I believe that walks should be more than simply getting from point A to point B. Whenever appropriate, I incorporate structured walks and sniff walks, allowing dogs time to explore their environment and get important mental stimulation. For cats, I like to provide interactive play and opportunities to engage their natural instincts through appropriate toys and enrichment. Most importantly, I treat the pets in my care as individuals and as part of the family. My background in animal rescue and welfare has given me experience with a wide variety of breeds, species, personalities, and special needs, and I bring that same patience, attentiveness, and compassion to every animal I care for. Whether I’m welcoming your pet into my home or stepping into theirs, you can expect dependable, thoughtful, and genuinely loving care.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bend
We love Caitlin! She is thorough, thoughtful and a true caregiver for our dog while we are gone. She goes above and beyond our expectations every time and is an excellent communicator. There is no doubt that we will try to rebook Caitlin next time we need someone!

Morgan was wonderful with our pup! She is professional, friendly, and a great communicator from start to finish. When she came over for the meet-and-greet, she asked thoughtful questions, immediately showed our dog so much kindness, and even helped redirect some of her over-the-top excitement. That gave me confidence right away. Our 1.5-year-old English Bulldog is full of energy and gets very excited when people come over. She’s not the easiest walker and can overheat quickly, so I was looking for someone who was happy to spend time playing in the yard, keeping her safe, and making sure she had fun. Morgan was exactly that. We’re so grateful for the wonderful care she gave our girl. I highly recommend Morgan and will absolutely book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
