About: From growing up with an energetic, fun-loving yellow lab named Wally, to working at a veterinary clinic, and now caring for my own 7-year old Wheaten Terrier named Beans, I've spent most of my life around pets! My time at the vet allowed me to learn how to take care of so many different types of pets, big or small, playful or calm. It also taught me how to approach all types of pets, and how to make them feel comfortable with me. I'm a natural born animal lover, no matter the size or breed. I'm really looking forward to getting to know your pet! I’m currently free pretty much anytime, any day to care for your pet! I’m more than happy to come early mornings, late evenings, and weekends! I have always been a big rule-follower, and this really comes in handy when caring for other peoples animals. As someone who has used Rover for my own pup, I know letting someone into your home can be daunting, but I do everything I can to make you and your pet feel comfortable!

About: I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter with a genuine love for animals of all kinds and ages. As a licensed pharmacist, I have extensive experience safely administering medications — both to pets and humans — and I’m very comfortable following detailed care instructions to make sure your furry family members get exactly the care they need. I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with a wonderful German Shepherd and two rescue cats. Though my current housing situation doesn’t allow me to have pets of my own right now, I still cherish every moment I get to spend with other people’s pets. I especially love active dogs — bonus points if yours is a frisbee enthusiast! I work part-time remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide lots of attentive, one-on-one time with your pets throughout the day. My availability is generally flexible, though it works best if you’re comfortable with my children (ages 9 and 11) joining me during visits if your booking falls on my parenting time (please ask if it’s an issue). About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 15, giving me about 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, personalities, and activity levels. Animals have also always been a huge part of my own life. I’ve raised and trained two dogs of my own, including my family's current 140-lb Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable with everything from puppies and smaller breeds to extra-large dogs who sometimes forget just how big they are! I’ve also had cats my entire life and am comfortable caring for multiple cats at once. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I try to keep things as familiar and consistent as possible while their humans are away. I’m comfortable maintaining established training routines and house rules, and I also have personal experience managing some behavioral challenges, including dog reactivity/aggression. I’m currently a student taking primarily online courses and do not have a separate work schedule, which gives me a lot of flexibility and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. For housesitting in particular, I’m able to be at the home for much of the day rather than leaving pets alone for a full workday. I do have a dog of my own, but he stays at home with family who adore him and are completely comfortable caring for him while I’m housesitting. This means I’m able to stay in your home without needing to bring my own pet along. My goal when caring for pets in their own home is to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I’m happy to follow your usual feeding, walking, potty, medication, bedtime, and training routines, as well as any household rules you have in place. If your dog isn’t allowed on the couch with you, I’m not going to become the fun babysitter who teaches them otherwise! If you do allow it, you can be sure plenty of couch snuggles will happen! I’m also very respectful of the fact that I’m a guest in both your pet’s space and your home. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep things tidy, and make sure your pets receive plenty of attention and companionship while you’re away.
