“Emma is wonderful! She takes Harper on nice long walks and always sends updates and any changes via message. Harper always looks so happy in her photos - I can tell she is enjoying her time with her new friend!”

About: I am a recent graduate of Carleton College with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. In the fall, I will be starting a PhD in Cancer Biology at UW-Madison. However, despite the scientific background, I worked as an Equine Veterinary Assistant for a year in college, and spent a summer gaining extensive exotic animal care experience from a full time Zookeeping position. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, from dogs and cats to farm animals and exotics. My diverse background enables me to provide compassionate, knowledgeable care for many different species, and I adapt quickly to new challenges and needs. With experience in the veterinary setting, I am particularly attentive to an animals’ health/behavior. I am only home for break from (12/20/24-01/05/25), and cannot take on long term care. However, over these busy holiday weeks, I am completely available! I have an 11 year old family dog currently living at home with my family who is friendly and curious. He is kennel trained and can be kept separated from any pets who are not comfortable with other animals.
“So grateful to have found Kersie- not only is she responsible and professional, she was super communicative, flexible and patient with our rescue pup who can be a little apprehensive with new people. I would recommend Kersie 100% and look forward to working with her in the future.”

I’m a teacher and am off for the summer so I have time to walk, play, or snuggle your fur baby. My house is pet friendly, dogs are allowed on the couch. I have a fenced yard with grass and trees and shade. I have a very mellow 12 year old dog named Yogi and 2 indoor/outdoor cats who do their own thing.

I love animals and consider them a part of my family. I have experience administering pills, syringes, eye drops and most other common at home care for both dogs and cats. Pet care is my main focus. I run a small business from home which allows me full focus and flexibility around your pets needs! I’m very flexible and will ensure to prioritize your pet if we have a booking together. I try to leave any space better than I left it. I’m happy to follow any directions you may have for both your pet(s) or your home. I always double check locked doors, water and food levels as needed prior to leaving. I will make sure your pets are cared for, and you are kept in the loop of any and all things that take place during my time with your pet(s).
About: I've had dogs all my life. I recently lost my 16 year old dog Juno after rescuing him when he was 4. I gave him the very best life possible and while I'm not ready to get another dog yet, I need to have dogs in my life. I am both volunteering and fostering dogs through Street Dog Hero which has been great. II'm happy to have your pup curl up next to me on the couch and also in bed. I'm also fine to administer medication. I'm basically retired so available to spend almost the whole day with your dog. I will occasionally have errands, go for a run, etc and happy to let your dog stay home alone if you're comfortable or perhaps go for a ride if convenient. I have my own home, fully fenced front and back yard. Your dog will get at least 2-3 walks per day and can be crated if that's your preference (you will need to provide the crate).
About: I have owned a dog my whole life and am very comfortable with all types of dogs. I have a beautiful fenced backyard for them to play in and a safe house to take naps. About: I have years of experience caring for animals of all kinds and have always been passionate about providing pets with safe, loving, and attentive care. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or companionship, I make sure every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and happy while you’re away. I’m patient, dependable, and experienced with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I treat every animal like my own. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available most mornings and throughout the day for walks and drop-in visits. I’m reliable, responsive, and able to accommodate consistent routines as well as last-minute needs whenever possible. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm environment that all dogs can feel safe in. About: I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter with a genuine love for animals of all kinds and ages. As a licensed pharmacist, I have extensive experience safely administering medications — both to pets and humans — and I’m very comfortable following detailed care instructions to make sure your furry family members get exactly the care they need. I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with a wonderful German Shepherd and two rescue cats. Though my current housing situation doesn’t allow me to have pets of my own right now, I still cherish every moment I get to spend with other people’s pets. I especially love active dogs — bonus points if yours is a frisbee enthusiast! You can trust that your pets will receive attentive, compassionate care in a calm and structured environment while you’re away. I work part-time remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide lots of attentive, one-on-one time with your pets throughout the day. I’m very active and love going on walks, runs, or trips to the park, so I’m a great match for energetic dogs. My availability is generally flexible, though it works best when you’re comfortable with my children (ages 9 and 11) joining me during visits that fall on my parenting time. I’ve been trusted by many clients — including friends and strangers alike — to care for their beloved pets and homes. I provide daily updates and photos throughout each booking so you can stay connected and feel completely at ease while you’re away.

“Emerson has been taking Bella on long walks while I am recovering for surgery. Bella is a very hyper , leash reactive dog. Emerson has been on time and takes her for an hour and a half which tires her out to the max. So greatful for Emerson, and her ability to handle my high maintainenance high energy pup! Note: Bella is not the best on leash, she tends to pull and Emerson is really handling it. She walks Bella three times a week.”

“Carla was awesome. I was able to book her for a few walks on short notice. I had never used a dog walker before for one of my dogs and she had a hard time adjusting but Carla took the extra time to try to get the dog used to her. By the end, my dog was comfortable with being walked by her which was a miracle and I would happily recommend Carla and book her again. Very reliable and definitely a kind dog caretaker.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bend
Karina was fantastic! This was our first time using rover for dog walking. I so appreciate Karina being incredibly responsive especially given the short notice of the first walk. She made a point to stop by and meet our pups prior as well. We definitely plan to use Karina in the future and highly recommend for a reliable and wonderful dog walker.

So grateful to have found Kersie- not only is she responsible and professional, she was super communicative, flexible and patient with our rescue pup who can be a little apprehensive with new people. I would recommend Kersie 100% and look forward to working with her in the future.

Lexus walked our dog for 11 days in a row while we were out of town. She was friendly, punctual, and communicative, and our pup was very happy to have his daily walks. She listened to all our suggestions ahead of time and took great care of him. We would definitely hire her again!

Yonah showed up a few minutes early for this first walk with my pups and handled my very reactive dog with patience and kindness. We arranged this as a way to get to know the dogs before an overnight stay and I’m so glad we did as I now know that Yonah can work with my sweet boy who has so much anxiety.

David has been an incredible dog walker for my dog Sasha. He is outgoing, fun-loving, and genuinely loves animals. What amazed me most was how quickly Sasha bonded with him — she is usually very shy around strangers, but she connected with David immediately. Now she gets excited every time she sees him! Their walks around the neighborhood are always an adventure, and it’s clear how much David enjoys exploring nature with her. He is kind, funny, dependable, and brings such positive energy to every walk. Watching Sasha so happy and comfortable with him has been wonderful. It truly feels like the perfect match.

Aaron was awesome for our senior, blind dog, who's idea of a walk is spending 30 minutes essentially sniffing and strolling. Aaron was on time, sent pictures, and our dog seemed super content when we got home. Totally recommend Aaron, and we'll be requesting his services again!

Morgan was very easy to communicate with, reliable, and flexible when scheduling walks. Of note, I have two XL (90 lb) dogs that intermittently pull, and he was able to handle and control them, which was greatly appreciated. By the end of the 4 days of daily walks, he had established routine, and method of communication that both of the dogs respected. They were both so excited when he would show up for walks. I would definitely request Morgan again.

Megan is great. She scheduled a meet and greet with me and the pups. Very prompt and paid attention to details I shared. We scheduled a walk as well as drop ins for an upcoming trip I have. She is quick and consistent with communication, and clear on instructions. The pups look forward to seeing her again.

Mason was timely, fun, and so thoughtful with our wacky pooch! He also went out of his way to work with my weird schedule. We have a senior dog and he showed a lot of care with his special needs and sent tons of good videos! We're so excited to have crossed paths with him.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
