About: Hello, I'm Caitlin! I have never experienced life without an animal by my side. I've cared for many critters, including dogs and cats. Whether they are my own pets or those belonging to friends and family, I treat them with respect and care. I was also in a local dog 4-H club for four years. We focused on building relationships with our dogs, working on obedience, and learning dog knowledge. I love spending time with animals and look forward to meeting yours! I am currently looking for a part-time job, but for the time being, I have a lot of availability for pet care. Of course, this availability will change a bit when I start another job. About: My name is Claudia and I've been living in the Redmond area for last almost 6 years. I farm and even tried my hand at raising hogs for a few years, so I love hanging out with animals. I am happy to walk your furry friend for 30 minutes or an hour, providing highlights of our walk, any friends we made along the way, and making sure we don't leave any poop behind. If your dog is especially active, I can make sure we get some extra activity in as well, so that we've gotten the wiggles out. If your pet is less active, I'll make sure we keep a moderate pace and stay close to the house/apartment so we don't get too worn out. I completely understand that different breeds and different age groups will need different paces set for their walks. Out of town for the weekend and need someone to drop by and check on your pal? I'm happy to do that as well. Let me know how much food to put in the bowl and I'll make sure to refill the water dish as well. I'm happy to let your dog out for a run in the yard, take him/her to a dog park and throw a ball around for a bit, or give him/her cuddles for a few minutes before I head out. Gone for more than a weekend and want to make sure your pup is shown some extra love? I can come to him/her! If you need a pet sitter for a few days to a few weeks, let's set up a time to meet and make sure your pup and I are the right fit for an extended stay. About: From the very beginning, I've been an animal person. I got my first pet, a cat, in 2000, and 8 years later, I finally convinced my parents to let me extend my pack to get a dog. These two were my very best friends. Unfortunately, they both passed away in 2018... but both lived long happy lives and I miss them dearly. Fast forward to now, and my partner in crime is my good boy, Biscuits, my 5 year old golden retriever! He is a well mannered goofball. My love for animals of all varieties has been my constant. About: I grew up with dogs and have been around dogs my entire life. I also have literally hundreds of hours of experience walking shelter dogs. I'm familiar with many breeds, from Poodles to Pitbulls, from Shepherds to Rotweilers. I routinely deal with challenging behaviors such as pulling, reactivity towards other dogs, and skitishness. I volunteer at the local animal center and typically put in 12 hours or more each week walking dogs there. It's not uncommon for me to walk nine dogs in a single day and walk over 12 miles in doing so. Most of the dogs I walk prefer longer walks (1 mile +). Some like to do a lot of stopping and sniffing, while others want to just move. I let the dogs determine the pace and activities along the way to ensure they get the most out of their time with me. When walking dogs, I consider each dog's individual needs and tailor my walks to best serve them. Dogs warm up to me quickly and are happy every time they see me again! My primary work schedule is uber-flexible, though I generally like to keep my mornings reserved for work and other personal activities. I'm free to walk dogs just about any time from noon and later, any day of the week. I'm only offering dog-walking services (no boarding or sitting services). That said, I can provide both a harness and leash, along with other safety equipment, to ensure maximum safety for your dog.

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was very young. I've raised puppies and kittens from birth, tended older dogs who need help getting around, done some high-maintenance medicine routines, intricate feeding schedules, and some significant first aid on animals. (I successfully performed CPR on a chihuahua one time, nursed another chihuahua through a slashed cornea, and have nursed one or two cats with abcesses from fighting through to good health.) I work full-time on a night shift four days out of the week, so I'm definitely a weekend Rover, with anywhere from noon through to 5am being my best available times! (If you need something very specifically between 3am and 5am on a weekday, I suppose I'm technically free during those hours??) I love dogs, and I love getting around Central Oregon, so dog walking is right up my alley! I love finding niche trails and new parks to take dogs to so they always have something new to sniff, and exploring places with your pet only builds my roster of cool dog adventure spots for all my lil fluffy guy friends! Currently trying to hard work myself into buying a house with my future husband 😷. Serving the Redmond/Bend/Sisters/Madras/Prineville areas! I'm very flexible to an animal's needs; my own dog flip-flops with me from being a 9-mile hike kind of dog to a total couch potato to needing crazy play time, so she keeps me up to date on all the dog needs! Whether your dog just needs dinner in his bowl and to stretch his legs in the yard, or a mile long walk, a ball thrown at the park for an hour, or the correct pills in the correct dosage at the correct time, I'm there to make it happen and keep him happy, healthy, and safe! I'm very proactively concerned about what animals come in contact with outside of the home, even for vaccinated animals, and I make sure that places I walk dogs are clean environments, free of broken glass or animal refuse, and as close to nature as I can get them. For a very large or strong dog, I might ask if you'd be ok with me walking them with a head halter to reduce pulling, due to the fact that I love really big dogs, but I myself am not very big! Very good at footwork and grounding though, have successfully walked a straight line with an very distracted American Akita 20lbs heavier than myself in the past. While I do my utmost to keep a perfectly safe environment, things happen sometimes, and when they do, I have personal experience with pet first aid, on a variety of animals. Everything from keeping care of abcesses on cats to setting a kitten's leg, nursing a chihuahua's cat-slashed cornea to a successful heal, doing actual cpr on that chihuahua's brother (they were quite prone to mishap) and ensuring that a distended eye on a terrier-chihuahua mix stayed wetted through to getting him to a proper vet. (The key to first aid is knowing what's worth a $5,000 vet bill, truly.) Monitoring an animal's condition after a surgery or medication change is a huge responsibility that I take very seriously and pay close attention to- your pet is is loving and concerned hands in my care.

About: I’m a very active and patient person. I love dogs and understand their need to get their energy out all while receiving lots of love. I can go to dog parks, on hikes or regular walks. We can stay in and hang if that’s all they can do. I’ve been watching dogs for over 20 years and have three of my own! I carry pet first aid kits with me along with plenty of water. I have extra supplies as well including blankets, leashes, collars and food bowls. I’m currently a stay at home dog/cat/rabbit mom so I have plenty of time to hang with your furry loved ones! My schedule is very flexible. I am very careful with entering and leaving homes. I know some animals can be very excited and quick! Knowledgeable of different leashes/harnesses. My own backyard is fenced in.

About: I grew up with dogs, do a lot of medical care myself, I keep first aid kit on hand for dogs, administer medications and shots myself (except those required by a vet), I have many years training and caring for dogs. My family did dog rescue and breeding. I did Dog 4-H all through school and have 2 dogs of my own at home. I work part-time doing landscaping with my own business. So I am able to make my schedule work to fit outside pet care. I own an older horse and 2 dogs. I have 2 children, 15 and 20 years old.
