About: Hi, I’m Dinah! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up on a small farm, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Over the past five years, my bond with my two dogs, Polly and Moose, has grown especially strong. Polly is an Akbash/Anatolian Shepherd, and Moose is an Aussiedoodle. We love going on daily adventures together and typically get out for 3–4 walks a day. They’re both friendly, easygoing, and happy to meet and play with other dogs, as long as your pup is comfortable with that. I’ve worked in healthcare for nine years and currently work part-time as a registered nurse, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate quality time to pet care. I’m excited to extend my passion for animals by helping care for yours: whether that’s drop-in visits while you’re away or bringing your dog along on our fun, active outings. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and give them the same attention and affection I give my own! I currently work part-time as a registered nurse so I have lots of time on my hands, including weekdays and weekends, to watch and play with your pups! I have a fenced yard and multiple parks around my neighborhood to take your pups on adventures. My two dogs are friendly and always excited to have a friend visit. I ensure your dogs are cared for just as I care for my fur babies!
“Dexter always has such a great time with Lisa and Dave. I’m so grateful we found them. They are communicative with me while I’m away and are attentive to Dexter’s needs and robust feeding schedule. I have full faith in them to take care of my senior little guy. Thank you!”

About: I am a dog lover! I can help with all dogs, especially senior dogs, administering medications and special needs. Crate and bed provided if necessary bring your own special diet. I am a retired senior, who is very active, has my own springer spaniel dog, who is very friendly and we will provide lots of love. I have a beautiful fenced yard and plenty of space to run. My neutered 5 yr old friendly springer spaniel would love to play with your dog.
“Tania is one of the best Rovers that we have ever used. She is incredibly kind and has a lovely home and family to leave your pup with. Mark has stayed with her 3 times already and we feel so comfortable knowing that he is in great hands! I would highly recommend Tania, we will continue to use her as our #1 Rover! Thank you for always taking such great care of our big burly fluff ball!”

“Aubin took great care of our dog Hank while we were on vacation for over a week! He got lots of walks and Aubin sent us regular photos and updates. He had so much fun he didn’t want to leave! We would definitely have Aubin watch Hank for us again!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 8 years with experience with all types of breeds, age, and specific care needs! I provide detailed updates every couple hours to ensure you can rest assured knowing your babies are having fun with you are on your vacation! I can’t wait to love on your fur babies! I work around your schedule and pet’s routine. I provide a walk in morning (and evening if you would like)! I can give feedings as much as your pup requires during the day, along with medications. I have a fenced in yard and always monitor when my pups go outside to play! I pick up poop daily to make sure their environment is clean.
“Scott watched our golden retriever Woody while we were away on vacation. He coordinated a meet and greet so we could meet him and also see his home. He is so kind and loving to the dogs. Woody had such a great time. They were always out running around and playing! The photos he sent us were incredible too. We will definitely have Woody stay with him again next time we are away. Highly reccomed!”

“Kathryn was sure to ask all the right question about Rossco’s needs and care. He was so happy with her and her family. They made sure he was played and got to go on lots of walk. Such a great experience for my first time with boarding on Rover. I won’t be looking anywhere else for care when I am in need of a dog sitter unless Kathryn is all booked.”

“Donna was so wonderful to work with, provided great updates on the dogs, and had the perfect yard for them to roam and play. Our grumpy old dog had a good time there 😊 We will absolutely book with Donna again!”

“I think I found my new go-to sitter! Sarah was incredibly flexible with timing and so generous with the amount of pics she sent of Jasper. Jasper got dog park play, walks, backyard time, and indoor cuddles. Location is prime and Sarah is wonderful!”

“This was Hope's first time with Eliza since our usual dogsitter was unavailable. It was a great experience. Eliza was responsive & communicative. She even sent a couple pictures. Hope seemed happy when I picked her up. Eliza was very friendly & accommodating. We will certainly use her again.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Alexandra and her husband! My high energy doodle stayed with them for a day and during that time went on multiple walks and I received photos and updated throughout the day. They are very friendly and treated my dog with all the care and love she needs.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats and 1 four year old daughter. I’m a teacher and have summer off, so I have lots of time to take care of your pet. I’m a teacher and am off for the summer so I have time to walk, play, or snuggle your fur baby. My house is pet friendly, dogs are allowed on the couch. I have a fenced yard with grass and trees and shade. I have a very mellow 12 year old dog named Yogi and 2 indoor/outdoor cats who do their own thing.

“Our family booked a last minute camping trip and Alyssa was quick to respond, easy to communicate with and provided daily updates about our 2 dogs. She went above and beyond giving our dogs exercise (one who is very active) and lots of snuggles and love in the evening. I would highly recommend her to watch your pets and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

Archer had a great time at Elisa's! She sent over many pictures of him having fun and being part of the family. He especially loved playing with her kids! We could tell Archer felt at home with them, and we rae so grateful that Elisa helped us out with a last minute request. Thank you so much for taking care of our Archer!

This sweet gal Summer, had just lost her own beautiful Golden. Two weeks later we arrived on her doorstep with ours. She was gracious, ready to take care of our pup for a week after Her devastating loss. Highly recommend, lots of activities, hikes and other dog friends. Thank You Summer For your care and thoughtfulness.

Shelby is a great companion for Feli! She is welcoming and calm and Feli enjoyed her big fenced backyard. She especially enjoyed Shelby’s partner Jake and he backed her best friend as she followed him everywhere especially outside in the yard and napped on the deck! I would highly recommend Shelby as a companion and she was great for a five night sleep over! Thanks Shelby!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
