“Aubin was wonderful. She took Denver on morning walks and he seemed very comfortable and happy with her. I would definitely recommend her and will book her again.”

“Bends Hidden Gem! My dog has such a blast with Jill. As she puts it, it’s like going to grandmas house. My dog got to play in her fenced in yard. Go for a walk through the neighborhood , jump up on the couch if he pleased and rummage through her toy bin! Her house stays quite cool in summer so it made for a good escape from the heat. Jill is an excellent communicator and has just a general love and passion for animals. I would highly recommend her for anyone.”

“Dexter’s first overnight with Lisa and Dave was fabulous. I knew he was in a safe and attentive environment from their frequent and detailed updates. Lisa and Dave adjusted to Dexters regimented feeding schedule with ease and made sure he was comfortable. Plus, Dexter has two new friends in Fezzi and Scout, their Cavaliers. I will be booking with them again!”

About: I was raised on a self-sustaining farm and have been around animals my entire life. I love giving them the care and attention they deserve. I also love being a nanny for pets. It brings me a lot of joy to see them happy and thriving. I currently work part time from home with a very flexible schedule. I love to take walks and will have plenty of freedom to care for your pets! I keep notes on their specific needs and try to give them the best life while I'm with them. Some animals want to play a lot, and others like to chill and relax. Each pet is unique, and that's what makes this special. I like to keep home spaces just as I found them, if not better. I'm very clean and organized.
“Millie and her family were so great to my pup while I was gone for the weekend. I appreciate their photos and updates and they made sure she was right at home with them. Thank you for being so communicative and for including her all weekend!”

“Beth is great. Extremely nice, wonderful energy and very caring with our dog. She sent updates with photos every day and we could see a very happy dog. Highly recommend Beth!”

“Robin was awesome! She took the time to get to know Dallas before his stay and the pictures prove how comfortable he was in her home. I will definitely be using Robin in the future if I need a sitter again.”
About: I am active and enjoy hiking and walks in nature with four legged friends. Your babies will be cared for like family. Sorry, but I don't accept aggressive breeds (Pit bulls, Rottweilers or any dogs over 75lbs.) I love to make animals happy and contented. I believe in positive care and love to them. Their comfort while their parents are away is my priority. My property is fully fenced large lot. I am with them the entire time outside. I have some experience training dogs. I taught commands by voice and hand signals successfully. We can do meet and greets. I am very responsible and would do everything possible to make sure your pet is safe and happy while you are away. I am retired and your pet will have all my attention. I am active and enjoy giving a dog walks in the area as well as playing games in a fenced yard. I have a fenced yard. Luna Park is close by for nice walks. My senior dog has passed, so your dog will have all my attention.
“Scott is fantastic. Our dog Millie immediately took to him at the meet-and-greet and was very happy to see him again when we brought her to his place for the actual stay. His property is wonderful for dogs, with comfortable and safe areas in the house and a large outside area for playing and sniffing. Scott is amazing with dogs. He is loving and playful and patient and clearly understands them well. We would use him again in a heartbeat.”

“Irene was fantastic! She took such great care of our pups and gave us detailed daily updates with pictures. We knew our fur babies were in the best of hands. She is friendly, professional. and clearly loves animals. We would absolutely use Irene again and highly recommend her for your pup sitting needs!”

“This is our second time having Nicole watch our puppy. She is great! We have all the confidence in the world when Juniper is in her hands. I highly recommend her. Thanks Nicole!”

“Alexandra is a wonderful pet sitter. My dog, Dougal, was so happy when we picked him up because of all the good walks and belly rubs he got, She also sent a lot of pictures. I recommend her highly.”

“Kathryn was sure to ask all the right question about Rossco’s needs and care. He was so happy with her and her family. They made sure he was played and got to go on lots of walk. Such a great experience for my first time with boarding on Rover. I won’t be looking anywhere else for care when I am in need of a dog sitter unless Kathryn is all booked.”

“Colin and his daughters were incredibly kind and helpful watching our dogs over the holiday weekend — especially with only 30 minutes notice! They sent photo updates throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind, and we never had to worry about our pups at all. It’s clear they genuinely care about the animals they watch. We’re so grateful for their flexibility and care, and would absolutely book with them again!”

“Our family booked a last minute camping trip and Alyssa was quick to respond, easy to communicate with and provided daily updates about our 2 dogs. She went above and beyond giving our dogs exercise (one who is very active) and lots of snuggles and love in the evening. I would highly recommend her to watch your pets and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Redmond
Shelby is a great companion for Feli! She is welcoming and calm and Feli enjoyed her big fenced backyard. She especially enjoyed Shelby’s partner Jake and he backed her best friend as she followed him everywhere especially outside in the yard and napped on the deck! I would highly recommend Shelby as a companion and she was great for a five night sleep over! Thanks Shelby!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
