Not only was she totally flexible when I both had to book her last minute and then extend the booking when I had a flight cancellation, but she showed the exact same kind of love for them that I show them every day. She sent photos and videos of the girls lounging in her big (fully fenced!) yard, getting all kinds of pets and cuddles from members of the family, playing, eating, everything; and I could tell she put in a lot of effort to make sure the girls were entertained. This wasn't just someone who watches animals for the extra $ and takes them on as an added burden; she's doing it out of love and makes sure they have not just a stay but a whole experience. My dachshund is, well, a dachsund! Need I say more? The individual care and attention he received and the genuine concern they give all the pets, is just so healthy. It’s what I fear would be missing if I were to use a traditional kennel. They were great to keep me informed with texts and pictures. (Or dog has a medical condition) I was impressed immediately with how everything felt professional as far as making sure dogs are up to date with vaccines and can socialize together nicely. I always ask for a meet and greet before making decisions just as a rule in life so when that was a requirement on their end too I felt comfortable moving forward. My dog came back healthy and expecting extra outside time to run and play. He even pouted when we left when he’s very much a shadow pup typically. My favorite thing from Derek and Sabrina was the updates, check ins and pictures daily. They really were great and we will be using them going forward for doggy daycare and vacations”

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I have one of my own. I have trained and raised a couple puppies and housesit and cared for many dogs. I also have veterinary care experience. My schedule is currently very open and I am looking to add caring for animals more into my life as it is something I really genuinely enjoy so I’m available for last minute or prepared ahead of time plans I have a fenced in backyard, with access to a doggie door. I have a miniature dachshund, and a domestic shorthaired cat. My animals rule the roost and are cared for exceptionally well. With access to food and water and a cool house with comfortable beds.

About: I have cared for many family and friends’ pets and am a dog mom myself. I have a spacious fenced backyard and a 11 lb pup for your furry friend to play with, my chiweenie Loki. I work from home and live a couple blocks away from the Amazon trails and dog park. I am very flexible to give your furry friend attention as needed throughout the day. I have a fenced yard I let Loki freely come and go from- and of course your pup would have the same care. I spend a lot of time working in the garden, house projects, and creating art, but my favorite part of the day is playing with Loki. I’m happy to provide whatever care/routine you are looking for.

Tina was kind enough to meet me partway to return some things that got left behind and Mia was so excited to see her again that made my heart really happy that mia really did enjoy her visit with them and her runs through the woods.”

About: I've raised 2 puppies who spent their whole life with me. I've adopted 1 rescue and 1 senior. They have had health issues (particularly the rescue and senior) so I'm familiar with some of the early and intermediate signs. We are now at a point in our lives where we want to still spend time with dogs, but we aren't looking for the 24/7 commitment. So we would like to host your furry baby for a night or a weekend and give him all the joy of a good friendship without the kennel experience of a dog hotel. We will be taking on pet care Friday thru Sunday. We may be able to support an emergency during the week, but since we both work full time, that would mean I would need to work from home for a day (which is pawsible with notice). However, it would not be our preferred schedule. We want to spend time with your dogs playing and relaxing - not just leaving them in an unfamiliar space while we are at the office. We are looking for day or overnight services on the weekends when we are free and planning to be home. We would expect you to bring enough food and medication to last their expected stay plus 1 day (in case of unforeseen circumstances). Then leave the rest to us. We will give regular bathroom breaks and play times (no yard), much love and pets and be vigilant about your recommended food/medicine. We do not look forward to creating your animal. So we expect at least one of us (husband or wife) to be home at all times and we expect your dog to be housebroken.

About: I've had both dogs and cats as family pets most of my life. I love having them around and taking care of them. Enjoy taking them outside and for walks as needed. I have been dog-sitting for friends for years and I have 3 kids who love animals as well. We have a full fenced yard for safe outdoor play. I am happy to personalize care for your pups individual needs and routine. Your pup's safety and care is my top priority. I am currently a Stay at home Parent so my schedule is very flexible. I'll be able to meet your animals schedule needs and will be present with them often during the day. I have a fenced yard and no other animals at home so your pet will be our main focus and will have a safe area to be inside or outside.
