About: I've taken care of animals for 15+ years. Weather it was my own animal or a friend or families I was always there to give potty breaks and train them on proper care. I also train dogs and have many years of experience training dogs to do various commands such as sit, down, roll over, and crate training. This will be my full time job so I'll have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry friend. I do have a dog and cat of my own but they are great around other dogs. I live in an apartment in the middle of campus. There is unfortunately no backyard but I ensure that your dog will get many walks and potty breaks and playtime.

Tori was amazing! She took on my pups at the last minute due to my scheduled sitter canceling last minute. She was amazing with them and sent so many adorable pics to give me peace of mind that they were happy and content. Both my pups LOVED her pup! They were so happy to have a friend for the weekend. Will definitely rebook, with plenty of notice this time😉 Thanks again Tori!!

Cory, Matthew and their daughter were gentle and patient with our little timid dog. They were accommodating in feeding, treats, and bedtime routines to make her comfortable, and even gave her some snuggle time in the morning. They have a great setup in their home and back yard for a dog, and ours came home healthy and happy. We’d gladly ask this family to board our beloved pooch again!

Pickle (the dog) and Rhubarb (the cat) seemed to really enjoy their stay. I think Pickle really enjoyed having more playmates, and Rhubarb discovered the wonder of a catio. Joshua was communicative, we got some nice updates and some photos, and the boys are readjusting to home life well. I really appreciated that Joshua suggested a half-day test-run to make sure that Pickle (who is a fairly small dog) wouldn't find his larger ones intimidating or stressful, and that Rhubarb would be okay with being in a new place like that in general. I did know Pickle seemed to loved all dogs he met regardless of size, and that Rhubarb was unusually adaptable for a cat, but even so I was a lot more comfortable leaving them for multiple days already knowing they'd already taken being there well! Next time we need to be away from them, we're likely to make the same choice.

We count ourselves very lucky to have stumbled upon Christina and her excellent services on Rover App! We needed dog care for a six day period to fly back east for a funeral. She was available, responded immediately, and was easy to communicate with. Our dog was pampered in her home with comfort, affection, and treats! Best of all she took our dog on adventure outings twice a day to frolic off-leash with other pups, play ball, and swim! I received multiple photos each day of our dog living her best life! It was like an unplanned summer vacation for our precious Quinn, and we’ll be using her services again. Thank you, Christina! Well worth the money for peace of mind.

Julie provided a perfect place for Harriet to stay during a weekend visit to Eugene. Great updates from Julie throughout the visit. The weekend was also very hot, but Julie was prepared keeping the AC on in the room for the pups and plenty of outside water activities for Harriet who loves water. Harriet felt very at home at Julie's!

I would absolutely recommend Jennifer and Josh to look after your dog. They were excellent with communication, sending photos and videos and being very descriptive about how our dogs was settling in. The environment that they provide for your dog is next level. There is a huge outdoor space that the dogs always have access to, toys and activities, and well-behaved dogs for your dog to play with. It is a doggie paradise! Any dog would be lucky to go there.

Griffin is gentle, soft-spoken, and was sweet and patient with our timid little dog. We really appreciated that he sent us photos during our dog’s stay, which was reassuring that she had settled in and looked plenty comfortable. Although he lives in an upstairs apartment with a balcony, he took our dog out regularly, several times a day. He was conscientious, and communicated well.

About: I've owned, loved, and been around animals my whole life - dogs, cats, and miscellaneous farm animals. Growing up in the country and having animal based chores from a young age helped me develop a love for animals, tolerance and patience, and the capability to care for a variety of animals in a variety of settings and environments. Closely raised alongside a veterinarian uncle taught me the value and importance of animals in our lives (and occasionally even provide assistance to a him in action). I'm also quite flexible with many things. While in my care, I can walk/exercise (or be absolutely lazy with your animal). Depending on what you request, as long as it's within reason, I am open to catering to your wishes and will do what you ask of me to keep you and your pet happy! :) ie. although I marked "allowed on beds/furniture", I understand this is not for everyone. I personally love having animals near me but also understand the importance of not allowing in my home, what is not allowed in your home. Also, I have access to my family's property out in the country where I can take your dog on hikes away from the public, run freely in large fields that are fenced in at the property line, and explore the great outdoors with them for an even more special experience while you're away! Experience (in general): listed 28 years as I've closely helped family members since ~at least~ 8 yrs of age. My sitting history mostly includes requests to house/dog sit for friends and family members over the years (both in their home or in mine). The "official" dog sitting experience is less, as this is my first time creating a professional sitting profile and I am excited to start work with people outside of my circle! :) I only marked the days I am off work completely as my available dates. These are the days in which I can provide the best/full attention care. I can provide care on work days, as long as you are okay with me working around my work schedule (ie. early mornings/evenings or nights). Otherwise... Consistently, I'm off every Fri, Sat, and Sunday. Weekdays: never hurts to check! I have many weekdays off, but they vary and depend on my office's hours. I know my days off in advance and can plan accordingly. My office closes for 7-19 days at a time 4x/year (Feb, May/June, Sept, Dec). Plus, any major holidays, we are closed and I may be available. I will take necessary precautions to keep your animal safe and cared for. I have a yard with no fence and would keep them on a leash while taking them out or on walks. If while in the country on family property, as long as we both feel comfortable with it and your dog's behavior, leash wearing is whatever you prefer. I will of course put them back on if I feel the need to. Although I'm easy going, I'm also a reliable and responsible person with common sense and enough experience with my own animals to properly care for your pet. I will always do what's needed in any situation to protect your pet and keep them safe. After knowing an animal longer and understanding their behavior/tendencies, sure, I can ease up some - but will always take more precautions at first while I am still getting to know them. And again, in any case, it's whatever you are comfortable with and would like. Details can be discussed and figured out along the way. For example, if your animal gets uncomfortable in unknown places - I am more than happy to come to you and care for them in your home! If they need this medicine at this time, you've got it! If they do better when you take them for a 45 min walk and then snuggle them for an hour, sure! If you need them to eat these specific things, at these specific times, and anything else you may need - just chat it out. I'm sure we can work the details out - and if not, I'll just say no and ask that you find another sitter who may suit you and your needs better. We'll figure it out.

About: I have lots experience caring for dogs. I would help my neighbor with feeding, walking, and taking letting them out to potty! I also have had multiple overnight pet sitting jobs. I love physical activity and even more when animals are involved! I always but the dogs safety first! I know how to stay calm in emergency situations and I’m very responsible. Susana was fabulous with Daisy! I received daily updates with a sweet photo of how she was doing including lots of walks and cuddling. Susana is well versed in dog behavior so she was able to comfortably have Daisy along with a couple of other dogs and monitor their behavior closely during her stay. Daisy was well cared for and seemed very happy during her stay. I would absolutely book Susana again!

About: I love dogs, and can't wait to meet yours! I will closely follow your instructions to provide the kind of care I would expect for my own dog. I'm willing to work with you and your schedule. I'm a firm believer in the power of clear communication and honesty. You can expect regular updates, lots of love, attention, and with permission, a moderate amount of treats. My fenced yard is sufficient for pee breaks and I'm in a great location to walk over to local parks for number twos and exercise. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you, and meeting your dog! I'm looking forward to spending my days off with your dog! I'm especially interested in long walks with chill dogs. Always positively reinforcing good behavior with praise, attention, and play. I have a fenced yard. I'm willing to spend lots of time with your dog, doing whatever it is they love to do. My availability is my weekends so that dogs in my care will not be left alone.

Malaia is the best sitter I have ever had. She kept me continuously updated on the care of my senior dog. She kept reassuring me that my fur baby was in good hands. My dog liked her and her fur babies from the moment they first met. I will let her keep my dog again very soon. I really like that the dogs have a nice yard to play in. She followed my instructions of giving my dog his food and medicine very well.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
