About: I grew up on a farm caring for and feeding many animals. I bring hands-on experience, patience, and love, ensuring every pet feels happy and safe. I’m a college student with mostly online classes, so I have a flexible schedule! I love spending lots of time playing, cuddling, and caring for pets every day. I live in an apartment with three friends who also love animals! Together, we create a safe, clean, and loving environment where every pet feels happy and cared for.
“Zuri is a wonderfully attentive sitter who provides loving, personalized care for my orange tabby. Each visit feels special, and this time was no exception—Zuri and Enoch even created a beautiful painting together! Their creativity and warmth make every experience memorable.”

“Galen had a great time staying at Jade's house overnight. He got to play fetch with the cool kids and slept all the next day after we picked him up. I loved getting all the pictures and videos Jade sent of Galen having a good time. It was so nice to know he was happy, healthy, and felt like he was at summer camp. I have no hesitation in having Jade watch Galen again, or in recommending her to others.”

“Carlos was great with my Winston while I was out of town for a few days. He sent me constant updates and even worked on Winston’s manners. I felt comfortable leaving my dog with him.”

“I confidently endorse Maky for taking care of your furry child. She is extremely responsible and responsive. She consistently updated us about our boy and sent numerous heartwarming photos, which were comforting when we missed our furry child. We are thoroughly satisfied with her service and wholeheartedly recommend her.”

“Great caretaker! Kaela and her family were so friendly and treated Suki like one of their own. Couldn’t have asked for better care or communication. Her puppy blue is a sweetheart as well. Great family to take care of your pup and I would let them take care of Suki again in a heartbeat!”

About: I worked at a pet boarding facility for a 7 years before I moved. I am a fast learner and choose to have the pet accept me before moving on to anything else. I shadowed groomers and vets to be sure the road I was taking would assure me happiness with animals and still plenty of time with my own animals. Working with the boarding facility I learned pets are different without there parents and can act differently around them so learning their likes and dislikes personally is a must for me. I want to make sure Pets and Parents are happy with me as help. I want both parties to feel safe, happy, and well rested when staying with me. I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule. I would be able to come for an early morning and evening walk or adventure if needed. I have two dogs that are high energy. We often go to parks, take long walks, or swimming during hot days. I do have a kennel and a large vehicle for transport.
“We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! We're definitely going to use him for future events.”

“We were so glad to find Olivia when visiting Corvallis recently. She took excellent care of our senior dog, Lulu, when we needed someone to watch her overnight and make sure she got all her medications. Olivia was flexible and accommodating at very short notice, and Lulu clearly loved her - thank you, Olivia!”

About: I have taken care of animals since the day I was born, I have had 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 chickens, 5 hamsters, 2 Guinea pigs and 3 fish in my life time and have a heart for animals. They really do have something special about them! I’m currently working part time at Dutch bros and I’m in a sling at the moment, I had shoulder surgery which gives me even more free time to play with your pets !! I have a fenced yard and live in a neighborhood, love to go one walks and have 2 dogs and a cat living in my house currently they are all friendly to other animals!!
“Great experience. Got plenty of updates with photos which was very much appreciated. Dogs seem to have plenty of space to play and gets lots of love and attention.”

“Tania was amazing! This was my first time using Rover and I was nervous leaving my puppy overnight, but she made me feel completely at ease. She asked thoughtful questions, kept me updated with pics/videos, and took such great care of Nala. You can tell she genuinely cares—she set the bar HIGH. I’ll definitely be booking with Tania again and highly recommend her, especially for first-time Rover users! 🐾💕”

“Karlie was very flexible and easy to plan with. Her house is very dog friendly and her pup, Dresden, is a great playmate! Our dog didn’t care when we left at drop off because she was already having so much fun.”

“Very attentive and caring with my little guy! Took great care of him while I was away and followed up with pictures and updates. Feel very comfortable to leave him with you again.”

“Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! They went on multiple walks a day, and even a weekend adventure! I will definitely be using Kathrine again in the future!”

“Our dog is old and requires medication and a very specific diet. Philly obliged and had no problem with the medication and dietary regimen. We received daily updates and photos and were very pleased with the communication. Will definitely book again.”

“Candace is the best! She was so loving and patient with our little Maizie. I didn’t worry about our baby, even though it was her first time away from home. She had a blast at “summer camp” with new big-brother Wilbur. Maizie says she can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything, Candace!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Corvallis
Holli has been wonderful to work with and my dog came back calm and happy after a four day stay with her. Hollis dogs are also well behaved and made the experience for my dog great since he had playmates! I am very happy to know I have a safe and good place for my pup to stay when I have to leave him behind.

Brianna has cared for my Rottweiler, Hanna, several times and it’s obvious that Hanna is well cared for and loved while with her. Hanna has seemed excited to come back to Brianna’s house… And sometimes I think she’d rather stay there (where she gets a lot of attention and affection,) than come home with me at the end of her “sleepovers”! Brianna is a very personable, reliable and lovely young woman and I will continue to seek her services when needed.

Mason was great with Zeus! Her communication was good, she kept me updated with pictures and videos, and it was clear he was having a great time. He got along well with her dogs and loved the off-leash group walks where they could run, play, and burn off energy together. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring boarding sitter.

This was my first time using Rover or boarding my dog, so I was quite nervous. Miriam is great! My dog loved her and it is obvious she cares greatly about dogs. She communicates quickly and is easy to work with. Next time I go out of town, I will book my dog with Miriam!

Alexis took in our pup, Ella, for an extended stay while we were gone. I very much appreciated the meet and greet in advance that was initiated by Alexis. Check-in/updates and communication were just right throughout, and I could not have been happier with Ella's care. I wholeheartedly recommend Alexis as a Rover sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
