I have extensive hands-on experience breeding and successfully showing Borzoi, giving me a strong understanding of canine behavior, health, routines, and the individual needs of different dogs. Over the years, I have also cared for dogs for friends, family, and other owners for stays ranging from a few days to several months. Whether your dog is here for a weekend or an extended stay, my goal is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely at home. I live on a property where dogs have plenty of room to explore and enjoy the outdoors. For dogs who are comfortable and appropriate for it, they can spend time in separate pastures and enjoy the space and fresh air rather than being confined indoors all day. Of course, every dog’s routine and comfort level is different, and I’m happy to follow your instructions regarding exercise, feeding, medications, and daily routines. My dogs are treated as members of the family, and visiting dogs receive that same care and attention. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so I want you to have peace of mind knowing they are being cared for by someone experienced, attentive, and genuinely invested in their well-being. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your dog and give them a fun, comfortable home-away-from-home! I work out of the home for 4 hours out of the day but am home for the rest of the time. My work is 10 minutes from the house I provide a safe, comfortable environment where each dog’s individual needs and routine are respected. My property has several fenced pastures where dogs can spend time outdoors, explore, and get exercise when appropriate for their temperament and comfort level. I also have secure kennel area when a dog needs additional containment or quiet time. I’m accustomed to managing dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I’m happy to follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and routines. My goal is for every dog in my care to feel safe, loved, and at home while their family is away.

About: I’ve been a Veterinary Technician for 9 years and love caring for your pets! Dogs and cats preferred but experience with exotics/pocket pets as well I work full time but I have 3 day weekends and can spend my evenings caring for your pets. During the work week or weekends I’m available I am very respectful of your home and property. I clean up after myself as well as your pets if needed. Will always ask if chemicals okay in household prior to use I’m able to care for your pets on my weekends and after/before work during the week days. I’ll always discuss any additional days/times I wouldn’t be available. I always make sure I’m double checking collars and leashes before walking pets. If you prefer I don’t walk your pets, please let me know.

Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! They went on multiple walks a day, and even a weekend adventure! I will definitely be using Kathrine again in the future!
I felt that Vinny had been treated well and was comfortable with Olivia because he did not show signs of anxiety when I picked him up or in the following days. The one thing that I would have liked was a little more unprompted communication even just once a day, such as; "had a good walk", "seems comfortable with me and the house", "he rested well", etc.
Kaci is amazing & truly one of a kind! We trust her with our two babies and no one else. She genuinely treats our dogs as her own, and you can tell how much she truly cares about them. They always have the best time—whether it’s cuddling up with her or playing in her backyard. She’s reliable, attentive, and gives us complete peace of mind whenever we’re away. 😊
