About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was little, but what really kicked off my interest in dogs was joining my town’s canine 4-H club. I learned valuable skills here on reading the body language of dogs. Currently, I am fostering this interest by beginning to volunteer as a dog walker with Marion County Dog Services. I also have plenty experience with cats, as I’ve had two of my own for the past nine years. I am currently working from home on my own schedule, so I am very flexible and open to any opportunity to get to see your pet! I have two pampered cats of my own who are loved beyond belief. Getting to love an animal is so special, and I know how hard it is to leave them. I will ensure that they are treated to the same care and attention that I would expect for my own. I’ll make it a top-priority to stick to the schedule they know so they can be as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’ll also make sure to communicate with you on how they’re doing so that you can rest easy!

About: I have been to go to pet sitter in my neighborhood all of my life. I've dealt with one neighbor's dog in particular who is a difficult dog and requires medication. Pet care is always my number one priority because if someone was taking care of my dog, I would want the same level of care that I provide. I like to learn and also know the routine of the animal I'm watching to best fit their needs and learn or change when necessary.

About: While I don't have a dog of my own at this time (due to both of my cats being absolutely terrified of them), I grew up with them and absolutely love and adore them. Every time I go to the Saturday Market I make it a point to pet and love on (with permission) as many dogs as I can. Whenever I visit friends or family with dogs, I'm most likely to be found on the floor next to them to ensure I get the most snuggle time as the dog is comfortable with. I've taken care of animals, including my own, for my whole life. I have my own medically complex cats that I take care of daily who each have their own medication and food plans, along with frequently watching my roommates cats when they are out for work. I've pet-sat for a friend for a number of years before I moving out of that area, which included both cat and dog care. I have loads of experience orally medicating cats and keeping track of difficult food plans. I've walked numerous dogs over the years and love getting to pet and interact with them. I left my job in April of 2026 and Rover is the first thing I have explored since then. While I have ongoing obligations on Wednesday and Friday evenings, the timing is flexible. I have lots of time to ensure fulfilling visits with your pets, making sure I can give them everything they need while I am there. I like to chat with folk about their animals ahead of time and learn some of their needs and habits. If they are shy - where do they prefer to hide and how best can I help make them comfortable with my presence. If they are abundantly friendly - how can I best spend my time giving them the right kind of care and affection to meet their needs (I have a cat who was wants to be next to/touching a human at nearly all times - having someone drop in for 20 minutes for food and some affection would NOT be enough for her). Every animal is unique, and our care should reflect that. I also make sure to clean/tidy up the area while I'm there and try to leave it just as clean, if not more, than it was when I got there.

About: Hi there! I’m new to Rover as of March 2025, but I’ve been providing pet care for many years. I teach both virtually and in person for about 6 hours a week, so I have plenty of availability outside those times to care for your pet - including walks, playtime, and snuggles! I have the flexibility to structure my daily and weekly routine in a way that allows me to give your pet the attention they need while fulfilling my responsibilities. During breaks between, teaching fitness classes, I make sure to check in and ensure they are comfortable, Your Pet care is important part of my daily routine. In the morning, I start by feeding your pet and give them plenty of pets and snuggle and letting them out to potty. During the day, I make sure they have everything they need, whether that’s a comfortable space to relax or toys to play with. In the evening, I take them on a walk, some playtime, and a final feeding.

About: I've been taking care of my families pets as well as the pets of my friends, and neighbors since I was a kid! We never had less than three animals in the house and would always watch over our neighbors pets when they were gone. I have also worked as a pet sitter for many other families in a more professional setting. Taking care of animals isnt always clean or easy but its worth it to me to see them happy. I do my best to treat your pets like family knowing that I would want the same treatment for my cat when I rely on someone to watch her! I am not available in the mornings unless I am taking care of them across multiple days. I am available in the afternoon and evenings both during the week and weekends. I am not able to keep your pets in my home because I have a very non-friendly cat. However I am more than happy to spend an afternoon with them at the park, take them on a short walk, or just stop in to make sure they are doing ok. I am also able to stay at your home or check on your pets multiple times per day if you will be out of town.

About: I have taken care of and own animals since I was 7 years old. Whether it be neighbors, family friends, or new friends! I’m here to help make it easy for you and others to enjoy a vacation and not stress about your pets. I’m also here to help with those that work long hours and need help getting their pet out of the house during the day! I’ve worked with animals that need special medicine and disable animals as well! I am a graduate college student and I have much time on my hands and weekdays/weekends are free! As long as we communicate and set up a schedule I will always be there to help! I currently have to cats of my own and I love to keep them energized and happy during the day so they sleep great at night. Having someone to play with always keeps the little guys happy. Also making sure they have water and food need by in case they get hungry and always keeping them in a healthy and clean environment!

About: I've been working extensively and training with dogs, cats, and horses for over a decade! I love animals of all sizes. I worked with a professional trainer to train my first dog at age 15. I've carried those skills over to train my current adventure cat, and my friends' cats and dogs. I'm comfortable getting messy whether it's giving baths or hiking in the mud and rain. I'm a student, so I love working with animals in between study time and classes. I also love hiking, hammocking, and backpacking outdoors with friends and my adventure cat, Chicken Nugget 🐅 I'm a big animal lover! I treat everyone's cats and dogs like my own. I can be flexible with scheduling and I'm always attentive to your pet's wants and needs.

While most of my experience is with cats, I’m also open to caring for dogs and have watched dogs in the past. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely care about making your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home. Pet sitting is my full-time work, so my days really are built around caring for animals and showing up for them consistently. I love that I get to spend my time helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away. Since this is my main focus, I’m able to be thoughtful and flexible with each pet’s routine. I make sure doors, gates, windows, food, and supplies are handled carefully, and I pay attention to the little things that help prevent stress or accidents. I also like to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and help them feel secure in their own space. Whether your pet is social, shy, playful, or more independent, I’ll meet them where they are and give them care that feels patient, gentle, and trustworthy.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. I have experience with a wide range of dogs. Ranging from small dogs to large such as German Shepards and Great Danes all the way to chihuahuas. I take pride in having the patience in getting to know each animal and their needs. I have a calming caring demeanor and work hard to build trust with each animal. About: I've taken care of several types of dogs. Growing up we had a chihuahua and I was responsible for feeding, bathing, and I played a lot with him. I also pet sit my friends two labradoodles and was responsible for feeding, playing, and just watching the house for most of the day. I also had a cat and was responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning litter, and helping apply ear mite medicine when she had them. I'm currently working part time as an instructional assistant through edustaff so my schedule fluctuates depending on when I can get myself scheduled to work. About: I have had 3 dogs of my own for years that I’ve helped train and take care of alongside my family. I have also been paid for and asked to take care of my families dogs or other pets multiple times. I have had 3 cats as well, so I’m pretty well knowledgeable in both areas of care. Im working part time at the moment and have space between and after my classes to take care of whatever business and pet sitting necessary :) I am very patient and careful with dogs with knowing many temperaments are different and unique. I’ve dealt with bigger dogs so I’m not easily nervous around noisy dogs.
