About: I’ve spent over 10 years caring for pets in their own homes for friends, family, and neighbors. As a pet owner myself—a Great Dane and a cat—I treat every animal like my own. I have plenty of flexibility and a lot of open availability in my schedule at the moment. I can make most any dates/times work. I’m available weekdays and weekends. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping everything as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow established routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, and I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs. I offer gentle companionship, plenty of affection, and a calm presence, while also treating your home with care and respect so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

About: Hi there! I’m new to Rover as of March 2025, but I’ve been providing pet care for many years. I teach both virtually and in person for about 6 hours a week, so I have plenty of availability outside those times to care for your pet - including walks, playtime, and snuggles! I have the flexibility to structure my daily and weekly routine in a way that allows me to give your pet the attention they need while fulfilling my responsibilities. During breaks between, teaching fitness classes, I make sure to check in and ensure they are comfortable, Your Pet care is important part of my daily routine. In the morning, I start by feeding your pet and give them plenty of pets and snuggle and letting them out to potty. During the day, I make sure they have everything they need, whether that’s a comfortable space to relax or toys to play with. In the evening, I take them on a walk, some playtime, and a final feeding.

About: I've been taking care of my families pets as well as the pets of my friends, and neighbors since I was a kid! We never had less than three animals in the house and would always watch over our neighbors pets when they were gone. I have also worked as a pet sitter for many other families in a more professional setting. Taking care of animals isnt always clean or easy but its worth it to me to see them happy. I do my best to treat your pets like family knowing that I would want the same treatment for my cat when I rely on someone to watch her! I am not available in the mornings unless I am taking care of them across multiple days. I am available in the afternoon and evenings both during the week and weekends. I am not able to keep your pets in my home because I have a very non-friendly cat. However I am more than happy to spend an afternoon with them at the park, take them on a short walk, or just stop in to make sure they are doing ok. I am also able to stay at your home or check on your pets multiple times per day if you will be out of town.

About: I've taken care of pets, both my own fur babies and those of loved ones, my whole life! Whether it's walking your puppy during a long work day or making sure that your senior cat gets their medication on time when you're out of town, whether it's playing with your teacup Chihuahua or your giant mastiff mix, I am well versed in pet care and understand that while life may make demands on our time, that our furry friends still deserve uncompromised love and attention. I am currently not working and am currently seeking part time employment, so my schedule is fully open! I can help make sure that your pets get what they need at the times that work best for your routines. While most of my experience is with cats, I’m also open to caring for dogs and have watched dogs in the past. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely care about making your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home. Pet sitting is my full-time work, so my days really are built around caring for animals and showing up for them consistently. I love that I get to spend my time helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away. Since this is my main focus, I’m able to be thoughtful and flexible with each pet’s routine. Some pets want playtime and attention, some need a calm presence and a little patience, and some just want their meals on time and their space respected. I try to meet each pet where they are and keep their day feeling as normal and stress-free as possible. I also have my own cat, Mango, so I know how much the little details matter. I bring that same care into every visit, whether I’m checking in on cats, caring for dogs, sending updates, or just helping your pets and home feel settled while you’re gone I’m very respectful of both your pet and your home. I make sure doors, gates, windows, food, and supplies are handled carefully, and I pay attention to the little things that help prevent stress or accidents. I also like to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and help them feel secure in their own space. Whether your pet is social, shy, playful, or more independent, I’ll meet them where they are and give them care that feels patient, gentle, and trustworthy.

About: I have had a number of dogs, snakes, and other animals throughout the years. Since I’m on a long sabbatical from work, my schedule is wide open, and I would love to offer my time and space to take care of your animal. I typically walk 5-6 miles a day and love taking dogs with me. I’m currently on a sabbatical from work as a professor so my schedule is wide open for the next 6 to 9 months. I will build my schedule around my teenage children who help when I have multiple bookings, frequent walks/trips to the gym, and pet responsibilities. I have lots of time and space to cater to your animal and their needs. I treat the dogs like family pets and let them roam the house. I don’t use crates unless the client prefers it that way. I have a fenced backyard and a love for taking walks or hikes. There are stairs to get into my home since I am in the West Salem hills. I do have dog toys, beds, and a crate from previous dogs. I will take dogs to minto brown, river front or walk around West Salem.

About: I have been to go to pet sitter in my neighborhood all of my life. I've dealt with one neighbor's dog in particular who is a difficult dog and requires medication. Pet care is always my number one priority because if someone was taking care of my dog, I would want the same level of care that I provide. I like to learn and also know the routine of the animal I'm watching to best fit their needs and learn or change when necessary.

About: I've taken care of several types of dogs. Growing up we had a chihuahua and I was responsible for feeding, bathing, and I played a lot with him. I also pet sit my friends two labradoodles and was responsible for feeding, playing, and just watching the house for most of the day. I also had a cat and was responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning litter, and helping apply ear mite medicine when she had them. I'm currently working part time as an instructional assistant through edustaff so my schedule fluctuates depending on when I can get myself scheduled to work. I have always cared for my pets so that they feel safe and loved. I make sure that the pets are happy and feel able to play.

About: I've been working extensively and training with dogs, cats, and horses for over a decade! I love animals of all sizes. I worked with a professional trainer to train my first dog at age 15. I've carried those skills over to train my current adventure cat, and my friends' cats and dogs. I'm comfortable getting messy whether it's giving baths or hiking in the mud and rain. I'm a student, so I love working with animals in between study time and classes. I also love hiking, hammocking, and backpacking outdoors with friends and my adventure cat, Chicken Nugget 🐅 I'm a big animal lover! I treat everyone's cats and dogs like my own. I can be flexible with scheduling and I'm always attentive to your pet's wants and needs.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for family pets, including our two Chihuahuas and my sister’s Labrador. I’ve also spent time around cats through friends and roommates. I enjoy walking dogs, playing with pets, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. My background as a supervisor and coach has taught me responsibility, communication, and consistency, and I bring those same qualities to pet care. I’m comfortable with feeding, administering basic medications, playtime, companionship, and keeping owners updated with pictures and messages. I have a flexible schedule throughout most of the day. My mornings and evenings are typically spent coaching rugby and working out, but outside of those times I have plenty of availability for dog walks, drop in visits, cat care, and house sitting. I enjoy staying active and love spending time with animals, whether that means going for a walk, playing, or simply providing companionship and care while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves patience, attention, and a safe environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from owners. I prioritize safety by keeping dogs leashed during walks, making sure doors and gates are secure, and paying attention to each pet’s comfort and needs. “Tina was a blessing!! I feel so bad leaving my cats for long trips but she eased my anxiety so much by giving thoughtful and thorough updates and lots of cute pics. She spent additional time sitting and playing with them which means so much because I know they get lonely. They’re also having problems with some outside the litter box pooping that hasn’t been easily resolved and she graciously cleaned up the messes and even left my apartment a little cleaner than she found it. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. I have experience with a wide range of dogs. Ranging from small dogs to large such as German Shepards and Great Danes all the way to chihuahuas. I take pride in having the patience in getting to know each animal and their needs. I have a calming caring demeanor and work hard to build trust with each animal. About: I have had 3 dogs of my own for years that I’ve helped train and take care of alongside my family. I have also been paid for and asked to take care of my families dogs or other pets multiple times. I have had 3 cats as well, so I’m pretty well knowledgeable in both areas of care. Im working part time at the moment and have space between and after my classes to take care of whatever business and pet sitting necessary :) I am very patient and careful with dogs with knowing many temperaments are different and unique. I’ve dealt with bigger dogs so I’m not easily nervous around noisy dogs.

“If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible.
