About: I've had extensive experience caring for pets, having owned dogs and cats since childhood. For the past seven years, I have provided pet-sitting services for neighbors, looking after their dogs for 10-14 days while they are on vacation. I enjoy working with all dog breeds and types and currently walk several neighborhood dogs for 30-45 minute sessions a couple of times a week. I work eight hours a day Monday through Friday, with nothing but free time at three pm. Weekends will be available, except the first weekend of the month as I'm scheduled to work. I prioritize my work with animals as the most important task of the day. I have provided dedicated care for cats since I was about 10 years old. I really enjoy engaging with them through play and their toys.

About: I have experience working with all sizes and manors of dogs. I have pet sat for years, and have cared for dogs, cats, fish, plants and more. I walk several reactive dogs back in California, one exceeding 50 pounds. I am excited to meet the dogs of the area!! I work most weekdays, but my afternoon and evenings are usually free. I usually don’t have plans on the weekends. I will begin school in the fall. I can walk the dogs, play ball or even just give them some pets. I usually can check up on them 2-3 times a day if pet sitting. If just walking, I try to gage the energy level, and adjust my walking distance and location accordingly.

About: I have grown up caring for all kinds of animals. I have the most experience with dogs, and small animals. Most of my family pets I provided main care for. Because of this I have grown a stronger sense of patience for pets, and have learned what will help them be more successful in their day as well as mine. I still am happy to learn more about the pets individual personality, and earning their trust. Though it is not my main career path it is something I am very passionate about. I volunteered at humane societies in my past free time. Though it is not something I can continue, I hope to make up for it by working with other pet owners. Thank you I currently work from home, though it is a part time job. Walks can be done 24/7 for whatever the pet may find necessary. Pets are considered in every part of the day from walks to the trash bins and fetching mail, to meal times and what is comfortable and safe. Born and raised in here in Salem, OR. My home is in a park filled neighborhood, with many walkable paths! A large, shade filled backyard.

About: I've grown up around dogs and taking care of them! I have experience delivering meds, taking multiple dogs on countless walks, and throwing a stick for hours on end! I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I am mostly available on weekends, and most weekdays in the afternoon. In home, your pets will be well taken-care of! I am happy to spend time in a backyard with some pups or go on walks!

About: I have grown up being surrounded by dogs! My dad always had dogs in our home. I raised my pitbull/lab mixed breed dog Nala from when I was the age of Ten until she passed away when I was 21 years old. She taught me a lot about being a pet owner as well as a person! She was my best friend🤍 I am a very active, responsible, and empathetic person! I enjoy being outdoors going on long walks, hikes, and runs! I’m always down for a furry friend to tag along :) My current work schedule is 6am to 6pm Sunday through Tuesday :) I am available throughout the week on my days off for some pet care! I am respectful of other spaces! I like to stay occupied and am willing to go on adventures with your fur baby! I am full of love to give for animals. My full time job is caregiving so I’m the kind of person to place others needs before my own, but I do prioritize my health so I’m always in tip top shape for whoever/whatever needs my attention!

About: I got Air conditioning!!! I have a dog of my own now and she my Bestfriend. I remember taking dogs on walks and having to feed water and clean up the poop in the backyard. I loved it. I work from Home and I love doing crafts cooking baking cleaning and spending time with my cats and Dog <3 . I am always looking for new adventures and love walks around the neighborhood and tossing a ball in the Yard. If you have an older dog or one that Just like to chill We can sit and meditate as well. I have plenty of experience in giving animals medicine and medical care that they need. I also love any dogs of any size shape or type <3 me and my fur family are excited to meet your beloved furbaby! 2 years in Volunteer Work at Willamette Humane Society! Love Live Pets <3 I am not working currently so will take Doggies out every 2 hrs. I have a dog of my own do my House is very dog friendly. Toy time, cuddle time, bath time, snack time, training time, I got you :) I do not have a fenced in yard but my apartment complex has a fenced in doggy area. I would take your dog out on lead for potty breaks unless was trained not to run off.

“If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. About: I had a reactive dog who was not a fan of other dogs or animals so I know how to avoid other pets on walks to keep everyone safe and happy. I am responsible and have a lot of free time to give your pets the time and attention they need. I just recently had to put my dog down so I am looking to fill that empty void he has left in my life. I currently am unemployed and have lots of free time to take care of your pets! I am available any day or time to help you out. I have a fenced in yard and a single story house in a quiet neighborhood. Dogs will have free rein of my house and are allowed on the couch and bed.

About: Hi there! I’m new to Rover as of March 2025, but I’ve been providing pet care for many years. I teach both virtually and in person for about 6 hours a week, so I have plenty of availability outside those times to care for your pet - including walks, playtime, and snuggles! I have the flexibility to structure my daily and weekly routine in a way that allows me to give your pet the attention they need while fulfilling my responsibilities. During breaks between, teaching fitness classes, I make sure to check in and ensure they are comfortable, Your Pet care is important part of my daily routine. In the morning, I start by feeding your pet and give them plenty of pets and snuggle and letting them out to potty. During the day, I make sure they have everything they need, whether that’s a comfortable space to relax or toys to play with. In the evening, I take them on a walk, some playtime, and a final feeding.

She spent additional time sitting and playing with them which means so much because I know they get lonely. They’re also having problems with some outside the litter box pooping that hasn’t been easily resolved and she graciously cleaned up the messes and even left my apartment a little cleaner than she found it. About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of many sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. This includes feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, litter box care, and maintaining consistent daily routines. I’m attentive to body language and behavior changes so I can respond quickly to a pet’s needs and help them feel safe and comfortable. I’m especially comfortable caring for large-breed dogs and understand the importance of proper leash handling, awareness of strength, and calm, controlled walks. I have experience working with reactive dogs and use patience, situational awareness, and positive handling techniques to keep walks safe and low-stress. I’m also comfortable giving medications as directed and always follow care instructions closely while adapting my approach to each pet’s individual personality. I work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00am–7:30pm. Outside of those hours, I have open availability and can accommodate morning, evening, and weekday visits. I keep my calendar up to date and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, ensuring consistent and reliable care for your pets. Unfortunately, due to my own pets at home, my dog is very reactive towards other dogs, so in home care is unfortunately not available at this time.
