My dog Cedar can be reactive, barking, jumping, even nipping when meeting people but with Jordan, it was like a completely different dog. Calm, relaxed, and instantly comfortable. “If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. About: I’ve had two dogs that I raised from their puppy to senior years so I have experience with dogs in any age. I have experience giving medication and know some doggies love having a routine that I can help maintain to keep them happy and comfortable! I’m currently job hunting so I have plenty of time to watch and help care for your doggies while also giving them daily walks! I have a big fenced yard for them to run around in have had dogs sunbathe on a sunny day. I enjoy going on walks and there’s lots of bushes and good sniffing spots along the way. About: I am extremely detailed oriented and very observant. I sense when animals need something different and will always tend to their needs first over anything. I can chill with them or play forever and anything in between. I work 5-6 days a week with and average of 6 hours a day. My schedule is pretty set to only working mornings and being off work around 11am to 12:30pm. After that I am free and available! I am more than able to be in your home and you never question that I was there. I leave places cleaner than what I found them and make sure all the boxes were checked that are expected of me.

I'm available Sundays and Mondays all day! :) Tuesdays and Wednesdays are typically full with my job. :( I'm available anytime after 2pm Thursdays-Saturdays! i do have a dog who is friendly, but she sometimes can get scared of other dogs, mostly ones bigger than her. she is a medium sized baby, she’s a mix of chihuahua, dachshund, and poodle. i have a fenced yard for her to run around in!
About: My first best friend as a baby, Champ, was a loving Cocker Spaniel. I have had many dogs over the years and currently am the proud Auntie of a Pit-Bull/Great Dane and a Chihuahua-both rescues. I have been a DC resident for just over a year and spend as much time with them as I can! While I work a 9-5, I have ample time in the evenings and weekends to care for your pet(s). I have 5 years professional pet-sitting experience. I have provided walks, visits, and over-night care for over 30 clients in my former residences, Phoenix and Chicago, with a private company and with Wag. “I was apprehensive leaving our 5 year old Vizsla anywhere. Philly took him for a walk to bond. He sent lots of texts and pictures. He was able to accommodate drop off and pick up times as we changed both times. He let him on the furniture and sat in a chair just like at home. He understands a high energy dog with lots of walks and ball play. He works from home so Odie was never alone. Such a relief to know he was in good hands. . We will definitely use Philly again.”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, and small animals my entire life, giving me an intuitive understanding of daily feeding, play, and comfort routines. I have also had lots of experience dog sitting for neighbors friends and family! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available to do daytime checkups, walks, boarding, along with overnight stays with your pups while you’re away! I have a huge open grass field right by my house and a very friendly boxer dog Hazel ready to play with your pups! I also have a local dog park I take my dog to if open to me taking your dog! “Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! They went on multiple walks a day, and even a weekend adventure! I will definitely be using Kathrine again in the future!”
