About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, starting with cats as a kid and later helping with my mother-in-law’s Jack Russell terrier and Siberian husky, as well as my own 100 lb English Lab. During my five years as a rural letter carrier, I earned the nickname "the dog whisperer" for my ability to befriend even wary farm dogs on my routes. Since then, I’ve looked after a mix of local pets, including a reactive Lab-Shepherd and a few energetic pit bull mixes. I’m patient, calm, and consistent, and pets trust me quickly. Pet care fits perfectly into my flexible schedule while I pursue my Master's in Behavioral Health. I value structure and routine, which makes it easy for me to keep pets on their normal schedule. Spending time with animals is grounding and rewarding. It balances the intensity of my studies and keeps my days centered on care, calm, and connection. About: I started taking care of animals when I was really young I think around 6 years old I would take care of my neighbor's dog was a little Pomeranian when they would go places. Also my neighbor had a Irish setter that I would go visit all the time and she would give me a dollar to walk her around the block or talking at least 48 years ago and I still remember it to this day it was one of the best times in my life when I was young. I think I've decided that I want to dedicate my life to this I mean what's left of it anyway lol I've been working with people most of my life and I thought I'd give this a try so daily routine and weekly routine would be up to the customer and it would be your preference after all you're the boss right? I've been a caregiver since 1998 of people I had five background checks last year for the state of Oregon I work for Oregon health Care commission and I'm a caregiver I passed five of them so you would not have to worry about me being in your home I would offer the services that you were requesting and you would also go beyond even more than what you would expect I think I would be a good fit with for anybody I'm an older lady and I've got a lot of grandchildren so I figured taking care of your for a babies and I would treat them like my grandbabies or you would say fur babies. Customer would be my boss so therefore I would do what they would ask.

About: Cats? I'm your person - I have 9! Concerning Kitties: I have experience with medication and higher-needs care. One of my cats developed neurological FIP, and my partner and I helped care for her throughout treatment, including administering medication and closely monitoring her health. She recovered, and that experience taught me how important patience, consistency, and attention to detail are when caring for an animal. As a full-time student, pet care fits really well into my routine! My schedule gives me flexibility throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, and around my classes. I’m looking to use that flexibility doing something I genuinely enjoy while earning some extra income. I’m happy to work with each owner’s schedule and make sure their pets receive consistent, dependable care while they’re away. I take every pet’s routine seriously and make sure to follow the owner’s instructions closely, especially for animals with specialized needs. With reptiles and amphibians, I understand how important proper temperatures, humidity, feeding schedules, enclosure security, misting, and species-specific care can be. I’m also comfortable with insects, rodents, and other feeding routines that some sitters may not be experienced with.

About: I've been taking care of my families pets as well as the pets of my friends, and neighbors since I was a kid! We never had less than three animals in the house and would always watch over our neighbors pets when they were gone. I have also worked as a pet sitter for many other families in a more professional setting. Taking care of animals isnt always clean or easy but its worth it to me to see them happy. I do my best to treat your pets like family knowing that I would want the same treatment for my cat when I rely on someone to watch her! I am not available in the mornings unless I am taking care of them across multiple days. I am available in the afternoon and evenings both during the week and weekends. I am not able to keep your pets in my home because I have a very non-friendly cat. However I am more than happy to spend an afternoon with them at the park, take them on a short walk, or just stop in to make sure they are doing ok. I am also able to stay at your home or check on your pets multiple times per day if you will be out of town.

While most of my experience is with cats, I’m also open to caring for dogs and have watched dogs in the past. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely care about making your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home. Pet sitting is my full-time work, so my days really are built around caring for animals and showing up for them consistently. I love that I get to spend my time helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away. Since this is my main focus, I’m able to be thoughtful and flexible with each pet’s routine. Some pets want playtime and attention, some need a calm presence and a little patience, and some just want their meals on time and their space respected. I try to meet each pet where they are and keep their day feeling as normal and stress-free as possible. I also have my own cat, Mango, so I know how much the little details matter. I bring that same care into every visit, whether I’m checking in on cats, caring for dogs, sending updates, or just helping your pets and home feel settled while you’re gone I’m very respectful of both your pet and your home. I make sure doors, gates, windows, food, and supplies are handled carefully, and I pay attention to the little things that help prevent stress or accidents. I also like to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and help them feel secure in their own space. Whether your pet is social, shy, playful, or more independent, I’ll meet them where they are and give them care that feels patient, gentle, and trustworthy.

About: I have fostered on and off with Hope’s Haven for years now and I am no stranger to puppies and seniors alike. I have dog sat since I was 14. I’m a college student at Chemeketa and would love to spend the time I am not studying getting my exercise in by getting out a dog’s energy. I have a cat, two rabbits, and a standard poodle at home. I know a lot about keeping peace and making sure everyone has their needs met.

About: I have been to go to pet sitter in my neighborhood all of my life. I've dealt with one neighbor's dog in particular who is a difficult dog and requires medication. Pet care is always my number one priority because if someone was taking care of my dog, I would want the same level of care that I provide. About: I am a remote worker with extra time available. I grew up with labs and Shih Tzus as well as cats. I've been dog sitting for the past 8 years and have done volunteer camps at the Willamette Humane Society. I am pretty flexible this summer for house sitting, dog walking, or drop ins. I can feed, walk, play with, cuddle, or even bathe your dog! I'm an animal lover and would be fine with other pets at the house, too. Watching and caring for dogs, cats or other pets is something I love to do on its own, aside from it being a "job." This would be a great way to spend my time. I am currently working part time, so will have time most days for drop ins, walks, etc. I am also available some weekends, as well. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home. If your pet is friendly, then it could be an option for them to come stay at my house.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents raised and trained wirehaired pointing dogs, which gave me an early introduction to dog behavior, training, and responsible pet care. Today, our home is shared with five dogs and two cats, giving me hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs. Our pets range from young adults to seniors, including a senior Chihuahua, a spirited Chiweenie, a 120-pound Boxer/Mastiff mix who still thinks he’s a lap dog, and two rescued littermates with unique backgrounds and endless affection. Because of this, I am comfortable caring for pets at many different life stages—from energetic younger animals to senior pets who may require extra patience, monitoring, and specialized care. I have experience with medication administration, basic grooming, nail trimming, bathing, litter box maintenance, and recognizing when something may be off with a pet’s health or behavior. Most importantly, I understand that every pet is an individual. Whether they want to play, cuddle, explore, or simply relax in their favorite spot, I strive to provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care that helps them feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. ❤️🐾 I currently work 8 to 5 Monday through Thursday. However, if need be, I can come in before work, after work and anytime of the day Friday through Sunday. Our dogs have a huge yard to play in, cozy beds to sleep in and get special treats a few times a week. There is never a shortage of pets and cuddles with 7 animals.
