About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 whenever my family or friends go out of town I’m always the go to person for pet sitting following each direction from feeding bathing to night time. I also send out updates so no worry’s. I am currently available Monday through Sunday, offering flexible scheduling for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care, including weekends, holidays, and last-minute requests when needed , but if plans change please let me know 2 or 3 days before thank you When caring for pets, their safety is always my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, and fences are secure before letting pets outside, keep harmful foods and household items out of reach, and closely monitor their behavior for any signs of stress or illness. I follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions carefully, provide plenty of supervision, and create a calm, safe environment where every pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for.

About: I've been taking care of my families pets as well as the pets of my friends, and neighbors since I was a kid! We never had less than three animals in the house and would always watch over our neighbors pets when they were gone. I have also worked as a pet sitter for many other families in a more professional setting. Taking care of animals isnt always clean or easy but its worth it to me to see them happy. I do my best to treat your pets like family knowing that I would want the same treatment for my cat when I rely on someone to watch her! I am not available in the mornings unless I am taking care of them across multiple days. I am available in the afternoon and evenings both during the week and weekends. I am not able to keep your pets in my home because I have a very non-friendly cat. However I am more than happy to spend an afternoon with them at the park, take them on a short walk, or just stop in to make sure they are doing ok. I am also able to stay at your home or check on your pets multiple times per day if you will be out of town.

About: I recently trained my high energy border collie mix puppy and although he’s still a teenager, he’s turned out to be a calm, caring, and gentle pup. Most of my pet sitting care has been done for cats, but I have house sat for a family with a Newfoundland, so I have experience with large breeds. I also have cared for a smaller dog that has OCD and separation anxiety. Thanks to the research and dedication that went into puppy training, I’m well aware of what their body language is signaling, and how to adapt according to what they’re feeling. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. My weekends are pretty flexible as well. Most of my plans are in the evenings (if I do have plans). I give my pets a predictable routine. The cats need a lot of attention as they’re very social. I take my pup to the dog park every couple of days, but I also tire him out through walks, herding games, and mental stimulation.

About: Have 5+ dogs? Energetic kiddos that could benefit from mental stimulation? Couch potatoes that just want love and affection? All of the above? Whatever the case may be, you can rest assured that I will give your baby(ies) the best care and attention I have to give. I worked at a sanctuary for nearly two years and had the pleasure of working with a large pack of dogs. Working and caring for 50+ dogs at a time takes a different kind of attention and patience that definitely took time to learn, but I loved every second of it. I have experience with quite the variety of different dogs. From XS to XL, newborn to senior, fearful to aggressive, anxious to energetic, I’ve seen it all. I can also give medications if necessary, do a basic groom, and basic training. I’m also very comfortable with cats. Aside from having some myself for 8 years, I love learning about a new cat and understanding its habits/personality. I truly love all animals and creatures and am very open to helping care for any other pets you may have. Currently my only job is to be a dog & cat mom so my schedule is very flexible. Aside from recurring appointments that I attend, I’m open to working with what works best for you. I can work with any form of care that you give your babies. Every pet is unique and I can definitely switch gears depending on their personality and if they have specific needs.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and have learned a lot about caring for them. Between caring for my own pets and dog sitting for family and friends, I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. So I’m well-equipped to care for your pup! I take care of my cat everyday of course so pet care is already a consistent part of my daily routine! I also help to care for my parents’ dogs whenever they need a little extra help. About: I have had a number of dogs, snakes, and other animals throughout the years. Since I’m on a long sabbatical from work, my schedule is wide open, and I would love to offer my time and space to take care of your animal. I typically walk 5-6 miles a day and love taking dogs with me. I’m currently on a sabbatical from work as a professor so my schedule is wide open for the next 6 to 9 months. I will build my schedule around my teenage children who help when I have multiple bookings, frequent walks/trips to the gym, and pet responsibilities. I have lots of time and space to cater to your animal and their needs. I treat the dogs like family pets and let them roam the house. I don’t use crates unless the client prefers it that way. I have a fenced backyard and a love for taking walks or hikes. There are stairs to get into my home since I am in the West Salem hills. I do have dog toys, beds, and a crate from previous dogs. I will take dogs to minto brown, river front or walk around West Salem.

Since this is my main focus, I’m able to be thoughtful and flexible with each pet’s routine. I try to meet each pet where they are and keep their day feeling as normal and stress-free as possible. I also have my own cat, Mango, so I know how much the little details matter. I bring that same care into every visit, whether I’m checking in on cats, caring for dogs, sending updates, or just helping your pets and home feel settled while you’re gone I’m very respectful of both your pet and your home. I make sure doors, gates, windows, food, and supplies are handled carefully, and I pay attention to the little things that help prevent stress or accidents. I also like to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and help them feel secure in their own space. Whether your pet is social, shy, playful, or more independent, I’ll meet them where they are and give them care that feels patient, gentle, and trustworthy.

My own dog, Dresden, is a high energy Border Collie who keeps me on my toes, so I have plenty of experience exercising and engaging energetic dogs both physically and mentally. Whether it's long walks, hiking, playing fetch, or outdoor adventures, I love helping dogs stay happy, healthy, and fulfilled. In addition to providing fun and exercise, I bring a strong background in safety and emergency care from my experience as a paramedic. I'm comfortable recognizing potential health concerns, providing basic first aid when appropriate, and remaining calm in unexpected situations. I've been a dedicated dog owner for nearly a decade and understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. Although I'm new to the Willamette area, I'm excited to explore it with Dresden and the dogs I care for. I treat every pup as if they were my own, with patience, attention, affection, and respect for their individual personality and routine. My goal is to make sure your dog returns home happy, well-exercised, and loved while giving you peace of mind throughout their stay. Anyone who has a pet knows that pet care doesn't exactly fit into a daily or weekly routine, it becomes your life. Pets have needs and their mind needs stimulation and attention. My dog is 10 now and with age we do eye medication twice a day and joint supplements. I think about what we can do each week, sometimes it is not much but I always my time to ensure his needs are met. I also know that some dogs have different needs; cuddles, blankets, snacks, brain games, training and socializing. The time they spend with me I will worry about their needs and do everything I can to entertain them based on your input. For pick up and drop off times I am available from 5:30 am to 7:15 am and then again at 4:50 pm to 9:00 pm. I have a fully fenced yard however I still find it pertinent to watch smaller pets when they are outside due to the birds of prey in the area. I live off a main road so there is some ambient noise in the house from passing cars. I do not let pets out of the front door unless they are leashed. I care for my border collie with all my heart and it kills me when I have to tell him to leave the park to go home. I want to make everyday the best day in his mind and I will do the same for your pet. We are their whole lives and we only get a short time with them, I want their day with me to feel special and happy. My goals is that one day your dog comes over and when they realize they are coming to my house they get just as excited as going to the park. I live with my life partner, Hunter, and he adores and respects dogs and they love and adore him to. We always joke that he will become a new bed for them to sleep on and sure enough they lay on him every time, it is so cute! I do not have any kids and I will ensure your pets personal space is respected.

About: I have fostered on and off with Hope’s Haven for years now and I am no stranger to puppies and seniors alike. I have dog sat since I was 14. I’m a college student at Chemeketa and would love to spend the time I am not studying getting my exercise in by getting out a dog’s energy. I have a cat, two rabbits, and a standard poodle at home. I know a lot about keeping peace and making sure everyone has their needs met.

About: I have owned my own dogs & cats for 25 years. I have house sat & pet sat for friends and family once I turned 13. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, turtles, rabbits & fish. I can work between the hours of 6pm to 7am Monday through Friday. I can work all hours on Saturday and Sunday. I am not available Monday-Friday 8-5 per full time job. At your home for caring for your animals. I will feed, I will water, and keep a clean environment for bathroom use. (Pick up poop, clean out cat litter box). I can pet and show them some affection!

About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!
