About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, starting with cats as a kid and later helping with my mother-in-law’s Jack Russell terrier and Siberian husky, as well as my own 100 lb English Lab. During my five years as a rural letter carrier, I earned the nickname "the dog whisperer" for my ability to befriend even wary farm dogs on my routes. Since then, I’ve looked after a mix of local pets, including a reactive Lab-Shepherd and a few energetic pit bull mixes. I’m patient, calm, and consistent, and pets trust me quickly. Pet care fits perfectly into my flexible schedule while I pursue my Master's in Behavioral Health. I value structure and routine, which makes it easy for me to keep pets on their normal schedule. Spending time with animals is grounding and rewarding. It balances the intensity of my studies and keeps my days centered on care, calm, and connection. “McKenna was great to work with. We had a meet and greet and it went great. Our cats walked up to her and were very comfortable. One of our cats, Sonya, is very shy and with a couple of visits McKenna had her doing flips in the air with the feather on a string toy and sitting next to her. In case you are wondering how I know I have a cat cam in the front room. The next time we need a cat setter McKenna will be on the top of our list.”

Never saw them once. Seems like everything went smoothly. I think as a Rover pet sitter she went above and beyond the call of duty. I am very thankful she was here taking care of my critters. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication routines, crate rotations, leash handling, and household rules. I prioritize secure handling during walks and visits, double-check doors, gates, harnesses, and crates, and always aim to create a calm and positive environment for pets. About: I've grown up around dogs and taking care of them! I have experience delivering meds, taking multiple dogs on countless walks, and throwing a stick for hours on end! I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I am mostly available on weekends, and most weekdays in the afternoon. In home, your pets will be well taken-care of! I am happy to spend time in a backyard with some pups or go on walks!

About: Growing up with dogs, I cleaned up poop and washed them thoroughly. At 12 I began my pet care service within my neighborhood and served about 10 clients one with very specific medical needs. I am dedicated to creating a positive and comfortable atmosphere for your pet whether it be in your home or on a walk. Furthermore, I have experience in training and managing behaviors of dogs as I have dealt with many temperments of dogs. I am a natural when it comes to identifying and forming my service around the personality of the dog. Any direction given to me will be followed with the utmost importance and professionalism and maybe a few dog treats. My name is Laurel and I am excited to begin this joyous journey with you and your dog. I currently am in graduate school for counseling. This leaves me with a unique schedule where I am gone for 5-6 hours Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I am dedicated to making sure your animal receives the same detailed care as you give despite these restrictions. I keep an eye on the safety and environment of your pet by consistently checking surroundings. I am also aware of the dogs body language, being taught that in my own dogs training.

About: I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for them. I currently have two French Bulldogs and a Schnauzer, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, routines, and the daily care dogs need to feel comfortable and happy. Because of this, I’m able to give dogs lots of attention, playtime, walks, and companionship throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods of time. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, and I love making sure they feel comfortable, active, and loved while their owners are away. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in a client’s home. At my home, I have a fenced-in yard where dogs can safely play, exercise, and spend time outside with supervision.
